I booked an Hi5 bus online for my friend's bachelorette. Ended up paying for a round trip (150$ CAD) that never happened because the compagny cancelled our trip without any explanation. When I called to ask why, they said it was because they didn't have any buses or transportation available. They assured me I wouldn't be charged. Nonetheless, I received a payment confirmation the next day. I called the company back to flag the issue and was told that both transactions were now cancelled and would disappear from my credit card within 3-5 business days. It's now been almost a month and I still haven't received any refund. Both pending charges have officially gone through, and no one is answering my emails or calls. When you search for Hi5 LLC in Maine, it will show up 5 stars with 128 reviews from an unknown website (i.e Cybo) from Europe and you can not see the review. For scamming reason they put 5 stars in fake review so people will believe they are a good company. They are also have some services on the website call Hi5 Home Care LLC in Maine in trying to scam the retirees in Maine community. Absolutely terrible service - please do not use. Booked for transportation to and from a wedding, and I called morning of to confirm the final payment. Two hours before pick up they called asking us to adjust our timing (which we couldn't due to the nature of the event - a wedding ceremony) and ultimately switched drivers and car size. Our driver then confirmed a different driver was set for our 11pm pick up. At 11pm - the company claimed they'd canceled our ride earlier in the day (they had not) and informed us no one would be coming. We were left completely stranded, with the owner of the company cursing me out on the phone as I frantically booked a hotel room in walking distance for my group of 7. I cannot stress the lack of professionalism or decency of this company to leave a family in such a lurch. Do not use. read more

This cab service is entirely unethical. If you book a sedan, you very well might have an SUV show up then be charged 2-3x the price. On top of that, they charge you $2.50 for every minute you're late. We were settling our check and one minute before our schedule time, we received a threatening call regarding the $2.50 charge. Their website allows you to book a car service anytime as long as it's one hour in the future. Once you complete your booking you get a confirmation number and email confirming that you indeed have booked a car service. I did this last weekend. At the time of my supposed pick up time no one showed. I tried calling. No one answered. If I could give 0 stars, I would. HI5 canceled on our scheduled rides the day of with 2 hours notice. After we called, they said it was due to a covid outbreak with their drivers. We would be very understanding of this, however they were supposed to call back to confirm whether or not another driver could take the ride and never did. We have now been calling for two days to try to get a hold of them and find out when we will be getting our refund. The line redirects to another number which goes to a voicemail box. I called because it was the only place open... typically use Uber or lyft. I called twice... the first time I called and asked about a ride and a guy answered with an attitude and said "what's your address you stupid fuck"... I said "excuse me?" Then the guy went off threatning me and hung up on me... I was called a different number not knowing it was connected to the same company... it started off ok... until I got in the car and the guy started talking about his addiction to Adderall and drugs... as a person in recovery it made me super uncomfortable... I dealt with it. I got a trip from windham to westbrook and the guy charged me $95 dollars for maybe a 6 to 7 mile trip. He wouldn't go any lower. read more

I filled out the online form and provided my credit card information. The cost was triple the rate of uber, but I felt I was paying for peace of mind as we weren't sure if there would be an available uber at the time of our trip. Had a group of 10 people and ordered a large van for our trip from the Kennebunks to Alfred Maine. We decided to go with the large van so we wouldn't have to pick up two cars the next day after the wedding. Cab showed up on time but was only a 6 person cab so we still had to drive and pick one car up. We were told that we would receive a credit for the difference between the 6 person van and the 10 person van. I have followed up 3 times since we have not received the credit for the difference. Overall, seems like a slimy and unreliable organization. Very unfortunate that Uber/Lyft isn't as available up in that area. read more

We ordered a taxi both by phone and online per the phone agent's direction and received an online confirmation that the taxi would pick us up at our hotel at 2pm. They never came and then stopped answering our phone calls as well as calls from the hotel front desk. We waited for almost two hours (missing our Amtrak train back to Boston) then had to call a friend from Yarmouth to come and get us since there were also no Ubers available at that time. We were left stranded at our location after scheduling a ride online. We have two young children who were home with a babysitter that we needed to get home to. We scheduled a ride online and entered a credit card. They never showed up after 30 minutes- we called them and they were incredibly rude, he kept telling me you wait or I cancel. I kept saying no I want you to come because we need to get home. He told me he would be there in a few minutes but never showed. No Show & No call. Unbelievable! Holiday event for large group of friends. Reservation for 2 SUV's made earlier in week and confirmed with HI5 cab the morning of the event. 4:30 pm pick up - no call no show. Called company at 4:45 & 5:00 PM and only reached voice mail. All of us left trying to find rides to the event, creating "designated drivers" and screwed the event up entirely as well as being late. Worst cab experience and speaking with the "owner" later all what I got was excuses and the proverbial "I'm sorry but what would you like me to do now" If you're even thinking of using them for a ride, don't bother - Just start walking now!!
