Between parking fees, gas, tolls, and the concern of leaving our car for that long, hiring a car service seemed like the smart choice. Unfortunately, the driver never showed up. At our scheduled pickup time, I called and initially reached voicemail. After leaving a message and waiting a few minutes, I called again. This time someone answered and simply said, "we screwed up--do you have another way to get to the airport?" We had no choice but to drive ourselves. While we were away, the company emailed offering a complimentary ride home. However, this was not helpful since our car was already at the airport. As a result, we ended up paying about $150 more in parking alone than we would have for the original round-trip service--on top of gas and tolls. Overall, this experience showed a lack of reliability and accountability. I would not recommend this car service.

SHE said: "Uh .. no .. I never got around to it". We have friends and family flying in and out of the Portland FBO all summer. They will NOT be using Maine Lift.

I'd called in the mid morning for a pick up at 1:30 PM that same day, and he agreed to take me. He was prompt, very pleasant, and was a careful driver. Traveled again with him just recently and would recommend highly. New, spacious and clean car. It is outfitted with an enclosed rooftop luggage rack, and the suv looks like it sits at least six. We were able to make it to all of our Kennebunktport area sites we wanted to visit. The manager of the store, Will, was a pleasure to work with. He gave me some instruction on how to use the scooter as well as some good tips on parking, places to go, etc. we had great weather, that really helped. Would do it all over again! Great time!
