We booked a ride to Logan Airport…read morethree weeks in advance for a two-week trip, specifically because it was more cost-effective than parking at the airport. Between parking fees, gas, tolls, and the concern of leaving our car for that long, hiring a car service seemed like the smart choice. Unfortunately, the driver never showed up. At our scheduled pickup time, I called and initially reached voicemail. After leaving a message and waiting a few minutes, I called again. This time someone answered and simply said, "we screwed up--do you have another way to get to the airport?" We had no choice but to drive ourselves. While we were away, the company emailed offering a complimentary ride home. However, this was not helpful since our car was already at the airport. As a result, we ended up paying about $150 more in parking alone than we would have for the original round-trip service--on top of gas and tolls. Overall, this experience showed a lack of reliability and accountability. I would not recommend this car service.

When I called to ask why, they said it was because they didn't have any buses or transportation available. They assured me I wouldn't be charged. Nonetheless, I received a payment confirmation the next day. I called the company back to flag the issue and was told that both transactions were now cancelled and would disappear from my credit card within 3-5 business days. It's now been almost a month and I still haven't received any refund. Both pending charges have officially gone through, and no one is answering my emails or calls. I had to contact my bank to dispute the charges. I'm so frustrated!

I booked Northeast Charter & Tour for our daughters wedding and we are less than impressed with…read morethis company. I hired the 36 passenger trolley & the 56 passenger coach to drive from Brunswick Maine to New Gloucester Maine on the weekend of 20 July for the wedding party and all of our guests. One of the six trips to and from the hotel and venue went well, the other 5 not so much. The driver of the coach bus showed up late at the hotel to pick up our guests and then to make matters worse he drove right by the venue and had to turn this coach bus around in the middle of a back country road. The wedding started 15 minutes late which created a ripple effect for the rest of the night. Neither the trolley or the couch bus had adequate working air conditioning. I called the company on the next business day to let them know what had happen and the office manager told me that they where aware of the air conditioning problem and apologized for this and the driver of the coach being late. He told me that he was going to talk to the general manager about what had taken place and someone would get back to me. To date I have not heard back from them. Northeast Charter & Tour moved our guests from hotel to venue and back but we could have done this for much less and not had any of these problems. This was not a low budget contract with them by any stretch.
