Since then, this location has served me well. Having a whole suite of office tools and equipment available to me as early as 7am is tremendously valuable. One of my favorite features of this location is the customer work area. It is alongside huge windows, facing a tiny landscaped area, so for inspiration, you can just look away from your screen and see nature and the sky. I've always received top-notch service. There is an associate who especially goes out her way to take care of us customers. I have observed her gracious "hand-holding" manner with customers needing assistance using the machines. I've observed her respectfully and patiently helping elderly customers. This actually just happened yesterday while I was doing a shipping run and was only there for about 10 minutes. Observing and overhearing a bit of the transaction, I was reminded of how pleasant she is to deal with. I figured that man was unlikely to write an online review about it, so it dawned on me....hell, I should! My only gripe with fedex in general is the cost of faxing. I recently had to fax a 56 page document (I know- no, it could not be scanned and emailed), and at $1.29 a page, ouch! Other than that, everything about this location makes it a win.

The associate told me I couldn't use the FedEx pak for ground shipping, so I asked what I could use. He handed me a plain white envelope with no explanation. Since it wasn't branded or labeled, I assumed it was complimentary or included--especially since nothing was mentioned about a cost. After I sealed my package, the associate scanned my label and only then told me there was a charge for the envelope. That's not how customer service should work. Basic transparency--especially around pricing--should come before a customer uses a product, not after. When I questioned it, the associate simply shrugged, which made the experience even worse. I don't typically use FedEx, and unfortunately this experience reinforced why. In the future, I'll stick with UPS or United States Postal Service, where communication has been much clearer.

How would I as a customer possibly know what to do in your store. Every other ups is glad to receive the business and they do it with a nice greeting and willingness to help. Again a little courtesy goes a long way. I have never had any issues with any other ups or mail service, and I drop off many packages weekly so perhaps take this as constructive criticism and improve your attitude.
