Pros- friendly staff, timely service, attention to detail called to ask if I wanted white letter in or out Cons- was charged to replace valve stems so I marked one with a paint pen just to check their honesty, unfortunately when I got it back it still had the yellow mark I put on it. Only 8$ so I'm not sweating it but just be mindful. Pro/con- I had a center cap siliconed on because it was too small for my wheels the returned it to me when I picked up my keys then when I got home I noticed they had popped on a Dodge Ram center cap to fill the hole good thing or a bad thing depending how you look at it All in all I'd do business again and just deny the valve stem replacement!

I called two times, the first time, the CSR Tamika hung up after asking me for an 8 digit VIN after I tried reading the one from my car title to her. When I called back the second time, she tried to press me to set up an appointment and I tried to explain that because of the timing issue the car doesn't start after which she suggested getting a jump or looking at the battery. I tried to explain that the electronics were working but the car wouldn't crank or make any sound when you turn the key in the ignition and she put me on hold before hanging up again. Since this location is close to home, I normally frequent for car maintenance needs but I might start taking my business elsewhere.

Disappointing Customer Service at This Firestone Location…read moreI've been a loyal Firestone customer for a while now and have two vehicles with lifetime alignments at this shop. I was even planning to add a third, but after my most recent experience, I'm seriously reconsidering. Brought my car in because it had a shake at highway speeds even after getting the tires balanced somewhere else a couple of months ago. I made an appointment, explained the issue in detail, and even provided a printed summary of what had been done before, the symptoms, and a note about removing the wheel lock nut by hand (per manufacturer recommendations). Instead of appreciating the info, the front desk rep was short, dismissive, and condescending--not the first time I've dealt with that attitude here. After drop-off, a different employee called me and was actually helpful. He explained that the previous shop had overweighted my tires and that a proper rebalance should fix the issue. Seemed like a reasonable explanation, so I was hopeful. After driving it for a few days, though, the shake was still there, just slightly improved. I've mentioned road force balancing (RFB) to this shop before and was argued down and told that Firestone "doesn't offer that service anywhere." Knowing that wasn't true, I called another Firestone location nearby--and what do you know? They confirmed they DO offer RFB and even apologized that I had been misinformed. The Real Issue? Bad Customer Service The actual work at this shop isn't the problem--it's the way customers are treated. Instead of actually listening, the front desk rep acted like he knew everything and dismissed valid concerns. If he had just taken a second to check instead of shutting me down, I wouldn't have wasted money on a standard balance when I could have gotten the right service in the first place. Final Thoughts I've spent good money at Firestone and was planning to purchase another lifetime alignment. But dealing with this kind of attitude makes it hard to want to keep giving them business. If management actually cares about keeping customers, they need to address the customer service at the front desk because this kind of treatment is exactly why people take their money elsewhere.

When they finally said it was fixed it was something that they never discussed with me and didn't get my permission to do. They were clueless. I also asked them to attach the skid plate and change the fluids. They had my car all day with no phone call. At 4 pm, I called and was told they only had one person who could do inspections and he was at another location, but everything else was done. Fine. I left it overnight again. The next day, still no phone call. At 2 pm, I called to check in. They told me the inspection still wasn't done because the guy was still at the other site. I calmly asked if they had called him to let him know my car was waiting. The response I got was, "You can come pick up your car!" I was stunned. I said I never said I needed the car! I was simply wondering why it was taking two days. This experience felt incredibly unprofessional. No communication, no urgency, and an attitude on top of it. And here's the kicker: I paid $65 for them to "attach" the skid plate. I drove home (two miles away) and immediately heard it dragging. I called them, and they said, "You need a new skid plate!" That may be true, but I should be refunded because whatever they did clearly didn't hold. I took pictures of their so-called repair: two zip ties. That's right! $65 for two zip ties that didn't even last two miles. They had my car for two days, with a lift, full view, tools, and my money, and this was the result. On top of that, the attitude I received was unbelievable. Buyer beware Especially women beware!

A few days later the car starts to overheat again, Tom says "bring it in we'll take a look." He says, you need a new radiator, pay to have the radiator replaced only to still have a coolant leak. The next day I call and ask him if they actually fixed the problem and he says I don't know why it's still overheating but we'll take a look at it again. An hour after I dropped it off Tom calls me and says, "hey do you still have the key." Long story short he list the key and had to get it replaced. After they had another key made, they finally get back to looking at the car only to say that they forgot to replace a plug that goes in the radiator. I finally get in the car to pull off just to find out that the car wouldn't start so it had to get jumped and it wouldn't move while in gear; come to find out that they didn't put transmission back in the reservoir. Now I have an oil leak, coolant leak and the car jerks every time I try to accelerate. Take your chances but Tom and his crew are the worst crew I've ever encountered in my life. Just do yourself a favor and pay the extra money for real professional service.

And guess what!? Get the belt put back on just to still have it doing the same thing. Do NOT recommend sad that customers keep getting pushed away continuously until the warranty offered by accurate tune runs out.

Normally with car inspections, I have to drop my car off at an auto-body shop and pick it up the next day due to the "first come, first serve" policy but I didn't have that option so I booked an appointment with 17th Street Automotive for the same day. As soon as I walked into the office, I was happily greeted by Kristen and another worker. They both were extremely pleasant and personable. I was quoted a service time of about an hour and a half and was offered beverages while I wait, which was a very nice gesture. My state inspection was completed after an hour and a half, just as they quoted me. Kristen was very informative with the things they found during the inspection and with how amazing their customer service was, I would definitely return to get my car serviced with them. I was given a free car freshener once the service was complete and told them I would tell everyone I knew about the exceptional experience I had with their business. If you are looking for same-day inspections or in need of any car services, I highly recommend checking out 17th Street Automotive.

Completely unacceptable, frustrating experience…read more I paid $1,338 for front brakes and calipers, and within six months I was still having braking issues. When I returned, they replaced only one front rotor under warranty. After a third visit for the same braking noise/vibration, I was told the problem was my rear brakes, even though those had been replaced only three months earlier at another shop. I then went to three independent shops, and all confirmed the real issue was a warped front rotor (the one not replaced the second time I brought it in). This should've been fixed the second or third time I brought it in. Instead they shifted blame to another shop, in which their work was confirmed to be fine. And for the price I paid, I shouldn't have had to bring it in multiple times for the same issue. Still after three visits and over $1,300 spent, my issue was still not properly fixed. The only good thing about this experience was that it was under warranty, and another shop was able to fix my brakes properly. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting this shop, and if possible save your time and go elsewhere.
