Needed a new Cat. Conv. on an '18 Subaru. Got 'er dun! Fast turn around! Very solid work. Fixed the issue, first try, less than a day. they beat the previous estimate from my regular mechanic, (who admits he doesn't like to do exhaust work), by over 30%, and, Subaru cat. converters are, simply put, expensive. That's what that little tag on the back that says "PZEV" means. Practically Zero Emissions Vehicle, and their catalytic converters do a lot of the lifting to earn that rating. 1 year guarantee on the work and (I think) the new parts they said. Easy to work with, and the best indicator is that they are busy as heck cranking out the exhaust repairs. Call this gang first if that's what you need. I will when I do! read more

I took my SUV to the shop for muffler work. Afterward, everything looked okay. I paid them $355.03. See pictures. After driving on the highway, a weird noise came from under the car. I took the car back to them; they said all looked good, no problems. They don't care, and they don't know their work. After I left their shop, I took it to another muffler shop; they could not believe they squeezed piping from 2.50" to 1.75". When you accelerate, the engine builds back pressure and makes the whole car vibrate. They also damaged my plastic on the right side. Don't go there; they almost ruined my engine read more

Fixed my catalytic converter (bank 2) a year ago for about $500. Only to return a year later and be told that there is a problem with my air fuel mixtures that ruined both bank 1 and 2. The mechanic that referred me, automotive revival said that they must drill a hole in my primary catalyst and stick a scope in in order to see if the primary has went bad and would then weld it up..I've never heard of something like this. The woman at Intermountain said that this decomp is due to lack in maintenance yet their partner and themselves are the ones that have been doing the maintenance. They said they would not warranty the last maintenance done through automotive but would if they did it this time again It seems clear that this issue was likely happening last year when they did the original work but went ahead and fixed bank 2 cat even though they were aware of this fuel issue that would eventually ruin both catalytic converters and send me back within a year needing double the work. read more

Riley quoted me a fair price that was wayyy below the dealer price and had it done and turned around within a few hours. Very impressive and will be back if I have any issues. Fantastic, above-and-beyond service and care for us! We were driving our 1997 Honda Civic across the country from NYC to LA last summer (just came across the receipt going through files and was compelled to write about how great our experience was). It was checked out before we left, and again in Madison, Wisconsin. But in Denver, we parked one hot summer day, to find sweet-smelling fluid streaming out from under our car...at a 5pm...on a Monday... We called several nearby shops, but this was the only one that was going to stay open long enough for us. We drove slowly over the 10 minutes to get there, at which point our hood started to smoke some. We pulled in and Riley the owner greeted us. He told us what he thought it was, did a diagnostic to find the tear the in the tube, cut it out, and then, when he didn't have a proper replacement tube, asked his employee to run to another store to pick one up. He cut it to size, connected it, and then told us to test drive with it around the block. He stayed AFTER closing hours to help us with our problem (big thank you to his family and friends for lending his evening time with us!). We could've gotten stranded on our ascent over the Rockies, but thanks to Riley and this shop, we were fixed and on our way with no problem. HUGE THANK YOU! Great experience at shop. Took my 2014 Audi S4 to the shop for install of a new muffler, exhaust tips, and catalytic converters. I inspected the vehicle after the work was done and unfortunately some changes needed to be made to help with O2 sensor clearance. I first took my car to House of Mufflers and Brakes on Evans. They inspected my muffler, the muffler pipe weld had broken on the back of the muffler and the rear muffler hanger bar had also separated from the muffler. They told me it could not be welded and a new muffler would cost $500. I then went to Intermountain. They put my car on a rack to inspect it and immediately welded the muffler pipe to the muffler as well as fixing the muffler hanger bar. In less than 15 minutes it was fixed, and Riley, the owner, asked me if $40 would be fair. I immediately said yes, and I was back on the road. I will be back when I need muffler, welding, or radiator work. read more

My beater sounded more like a tractor than the high quality North Korean engineering that it is. I rolled into intermountain first for an estimate, then a week later to get the work done. The estimate was fast and easy, Riley the owner had the car up on the lift in 2 mins and told me right away what the problem is. Quoted a price and i was on my way 5 min later. When I rolled up unannounced in the evening about 6pm to have the work done I expected to leave it for the night, however Rily was ready to go and got the car on the lift again and told me it'll be about an hour. I took off with mama to run an errand and 45 min later i got a call telling me they're done. The price changed by 10 bucks from the initial estimate, but was far from a fortune to get it fixed. I accidentally ran over a median and ripped the exhaust off my car. So I drove my Harley sounding Solera over to Intermountain to see if it was even feasible to fix my almost 20 year old car. Itook my car in at 1:15, was given an estimate that was pretty in line w what I expected and so left my car. I got a call at 3:15 that it was ready. I couldn't believe I got my car fixed that quickly as it was two different sections of the exhaust that had to be replaced as well as the oxygen detector.
