Overall I had a pretty good experience here! The inside is very clean and aesthetic with a good decent amount of seating. There's indoor seating with the regular tables and chairs, as well as cushioned seating, bar style seating and outdoor seating as well! Plenty of options. I stayed for a little while to study and felt very comfortable. The man who took my order and helped me was very nice! He was encouraging of asking questions about the menu. And didn't rush me or anything! To drink, I ordered the Interlude Coffee. He explained to me it's kind of their own take on the Spanish Latte. I enjoyed it, it didn't taste all that sweet and I feel like Spanish Lattes can often have an overwhelming taste of cinnamon but this drink did not overdo it! I will note, you can only order this drink in 12oz size and I do feel like it's slightly pricier than other shops for the size, but nothing too too crazy.

If you're looking for a spot to unwind, this coffee shop is the new hidden gem. The chill atmosphere makes it the perfect place to relax or get some work done, while the friendly staff provides top notch service every visit. Their menu has an impressive selection of coffees, and specialty drinks, so there's something for everyone. Great vibes, great people, and even better coffee i'll definitely be back to try more drinks.

A new coffee shop in uptown Whittier! They are currently still in soft opening but it's a nice spacious space with plenty of seating inside. Since they are still in soft opening, they haven't finalized their food menu. But their drinks were outstanding! We got their signature The Interlude, Ode to Uptown and the Honey Piloncillo Shaken Latte. All their drinks were very delicious, nicely balanced and not overly sweet. The staff are very nice. They helped us all choose our drinks and answered all our questions. I'll definitely be coming back.

The coffee hit the spot. I love the ambiance. So spacious and perfect for a meet up with friends or a business meeting. The best part is they open at 6:30 am and most coffee shops open at 7 or 8 too late to get your day started. Fast service. Check them out with their comfy chairs. Comfy chairs and coffee

Great fast customer service. The berries matcha was just the perfect amount of sweetness. The ode to uptown was definitely something out of my comfort zone but surprisingly really good. I just wish they added a bit more tajin. The butter croissant was so flaky and warm.

This place has become our family's regular spot. The coffee is genuinely good! Like really good! And my kids always talk about the chocolate milk, mostly because the baristas draw little designs on top for them, and it's a friendly environment. The staff even give out coloring sheets and pencils to them! It never gets old for my kids, and honestly it's pretty charming to watch. The pastries are worth the trip on their own. Get the pesto and tomato one with a coffee and you've got yourself a real breakfast. On weekdays I'll sometimes camp out with my laptop for a couple hours. It's clean, comfortable, and quiet enough to actually get work done, which is rarer than it should be. Friendly staff, great coffee, happy kids. Hard to beat.

Great service, Great Coffee, Cool atmosphere! 2nd time coming in and both times we had great service and great coffee. Order: We ordered Honey Piloncillo shaken latte. It's the right amount of sweet and coffee balance. This is my go to order, I get 1/2 the sweetness. Their house cold brew is one of our new favorites. Stong foral flavor with a smooth finish. Very easy to drink black. Their banana bread is delicious! Try it, it's worth it. Service: Quick and friendly. Weekends, we coffee shop hop, and so far Interlude is easy to be in and out. Even when there was a line out the door everyone got their coffee fairly quick. They have several baristas on staff and they are all helpful and friendly. Both times we went the owner helped us out and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back

Clean, bright atmosphere. Music is just the right volume. Great seating with outlets!! Honey Piloncillo Shaken was 10/10. Anyone complaining about a line needs to realize that there's a line because it's that good!!

The coffee is good, but I didn't like how slow the service was. I was waiting in line a long time (15 mins) and than standing at the cash register they had me waiting even more. They also told me part of what I was ordering wasn't ready and so I might have to wait longer! I think for it being so early, it doesn't make sense to be out or not have someone just dedicated to making the foam on the signature drink. Also, I think for a small my total was $9! At that price I expect my drink much quicker!! I understand they are new but I'm not motivated to return, I'll have to give them another try in a few months

I am officially a new Interlude regular I highly recommend this shop to everyone. The coffee is great and the pastries are also a hit. I recommend trying the Honey Piloncillo Shaken Latte or the Interlude house specialty drink, my daughter recommends the Strawberry Matcha. The staff and atmosphere is very inviting and friendly. The owner was very polite and dare I say easy on the eyes. The Interlude is a great addition to Uptown!!

First week being open! With a full house the vibes were still very mellow. Lots of people working/studying or having quiet conversations. Plenty of tables and additional seating at the bar. Drinks I ordered: (From Left to Right) Cortado, Berries & Cream Matcha and The Interlude. The menu shows their house espresso has notes of chocolate and you can definitely pick up on that in their drinks. *Do note that their menu does have a typo and The Berries & Cream Matcha is not strawberry but it's actually Blueberry!* Cortado & Matcha were good. The interlude unfortunately was just alright. The warm baking spice was nice but I felt everything else lacked. There also wasn't really any sweetness to it and I don't think the cream top really added anything. I'll give this drink another shot at a later date. I'll still be going back to try their other specialty drinks in hopes that maybe the flavors land a little bit better.

Stopped by Interlude Coffee and ordered the cortado--excellent choice. It was smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced with a great espresso flavor and just the right amount of steamed milk. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere made it a great place to relax. I'll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend!

LFTD recently made an announcement that they are being evicted by their landlord and will close…read moredown this brick-and-mortar location by the end of this year (December 29th, 2025). A week before the announcement was made, I came here to try their famous blue tortilla breakfast burrito. [Parking]: There's a free public parking structure located one block away from the coffee shop (6738 Comstock Ave, Whittier, CA 90601). [Atmosphere]: Super crowded on Sunday & I was not able to find a place to sit. I ultimately ordered my breakfast burrito to-go. They also have a section of cafe that sell vintage clothing. [Menu]: For the signature breakfast burrito, they actually have 6 options - classic breakfast burritos (bacon - $16.50), Prime Steak (grass-fed prime steak $20.50), the Ultimate Burrito (grass-fed prime steak + avocado + bacon), Chilaquiles ($15.50), Chorizo ($16.00), and Vegan ($16.00). They also sell their cold brew cafe de olla in giant plastic bags that look like IV drip bags at the refrigerated section. [Ordering]: Customers can order at the cashier counter or order via kiosk (they use Toast). I reviewed their breakfast burrito options at 12 PM and they ran out of classic breakfast burrito. I ended up with prime steak breakfast burrito instead. Unfortunately I waited 45 minutes before they had my order ready and I could tell other customers were not too patient with their orders as they kept walking up to the pick-up counter & checked the ordering status. *** Prime Steak Breakfast Burrito (grass fed prime steak, scrambled egg, Monterey Jack cheese, crema, pico de gallo, tri-colored peppers, hash browns - $20.50): Unlike other breakfast burrito I have had at other places, this breakfast burrito had blue tortilla. The portion was a bit smaller than I expected, but chewy steak + crispy hash browns + roasted peppers + red salsa = one delicious and s-tier tasting breakfast burrito. *** While LFTD serves one of the best 5-star worthy breakfast burritos I have ever had in LA + Orange County, I have to take off a star due to extremely long wait time on food order. Please do yourself a favor and place an online order at least 30 minutes ahead of time if you want to try their breakfast burritos ( https://www.toasttab.com/local/order/lift-6701-greenleaf-ave ).

The baristas all look like they are having a good time, and it reflects it in the coffee and food. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful because I always have a hard time building a custom bowl. There are just so many toppings to choose from! I ended up getting a mix of the Blue Coconut and Huckleberry bases. For the toppings, I went with a variety of different options based on what the employee recommended as the most popular. I loved everything, and it all tasted super fresh. At $11 for a small, I thought the portion was very reasonable, especially if you load up on toppings. It was so refreshing and so good. I would definitely get it again.

Fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying every time. Zack helped with my order and was incredibly friendly and attentive. I mentioned a peanut allergy and he thoughtfully grabbed all of the ingredients from the back fridge rather than using the ones at the counter to help avoid any possible cross-contamination. That extra care was really appreciated. Another nice touch was the complimentary coffee station near the cashier with oat milk and raw sugar available for guests. This location is inside Rodeo 72. The Blue Bowl space itself is on the small side, but there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating nearby to relax and enjoy your bowl.
