I figured talking to someone couldn't hurt, and I wasn't forced to go back if I didn't like it. I saw Kristin for the first time about two years ago, and I really appreciate her non-judgmental, careful way of getting you to open up. I'm not someone who talks about much, really, but this turned out to be the best investment I've made in myself. While it's expensive, it's worth it. Even just going for "maintenance" sessions is helpful. I started off every other week, but that wasn't enough, so I went once, sometimes twice a week for a couple of months. After that, I was able to use the tools she gave me in the real world, and the benefits really stick. You matter to people in this world, so you have to matter to yourself too.

This fantastic organization helps people like me, who suffer both from chemical dependency and mental illness or other like disorders and help them become happy, healthy, productive members of society! At Tender Loving Mercy I learned the coping skills necessary to live life drug free and with less anxiety as well! I went through the program, gaining many life skills, and coping skills to live life without the use of drugs. We went to 12 step meetings. After about 3 months, I became a Jr staff member, a client , who helps the staff with their daily tasks. I graduated in 2014. I later went back to this program to give back what was so freely given to me, and became a voluntary staff member, to help the terrific staff, and help lift other people now in the program to the heights I had reached because this program had helped give me the tools to reach them. If you are struggling with chemical dependency issues or have co-occurring disorders, Tender Loving Mercy may help you reach your highest potential, so you too may be the best that you can be!

She is incredibly grounded and attuned creating an environment of trust, safety and connection that is invaluable when healing from trauma. I felt very disconnected from myself when I first started seeing her. She helped guide me back to myself and my own inner wisdom, as well as gave me somatic tools to learn how to regulate myself when feeling triggered or activated. Her kind and empathic nature was so soothing to my soul. I would recommend Keara to anyone on a healing journey.
