It took a 15 days to get the parts, but that was not a problem. They sent the second string tech to install the parts and he did complain about the commission the other tech was getting for selling me the replacement parts. Tech #2 did not use a ground Strap before touching the new circuit board! This can cause problems in the future from static discharge. Remember the service providers are on commission!

Michael to the rescue again! Luckily, because this weather's been crazy, I was able to catch the…read moreproblem on a warm day. Then it got cool again. I called to schedule maintenance, but after scheduling the appointment, I realized my upstairs unit wasn't working. In fact, instead of cooling, my bedroom was getting hotter. He came through as scheduled, conducted diagnostic tests on both of my units, and unfortunately gave me the bad news. He presented some options, and both were costly, but what can you do? The invoice broke down everything he had presented. We decided on a way ahead and scheduled the fix for the coming days. On the day of service, he arrived early and got to work. It took him a little over 4 hours and he explained what he was doing along the way. I'm back in service! Today is expected to be a 90-degree day, it's right on time. I already feel the difference and am looking forward to a reduced electric bill (based on some of his explanations). I'll continue to use his services going forward.
