Had a smallish drywall repair project and they nailed it--super quick, super clean, and the repair was perfect

We had a fairly large whole house remodel done by Interactive Remodeling. This included major kitchen and bathroom remodeling (pretty much replaced everything), replace entire downstairs flooring and updates to staircase. It also required repainting the whole house, replace all interior doors (11 of them), add recessed lighting and new island. Overall it was a huge project. I started getting quotes initially and sent out pictures/scope documents, Kam came fully prepared when he visited the house for in-person estimate. He actually reviewed the pictures I sent and also had new ideas on what else we can improve. This pretty much convinced us that we are in good hands and we signed the contract. This is the first time we attempted something like this and Kam was there to guide us on everything. He would immediately mention if something looked off in our plan and it saved us lots of time on the project. He also gave ideas on brands and places to look into for sourcing materials, this was very helpful for folks like us who aren't very aware of the construction details. Once we started, Kam and Hamid were consistently on time and work output from both of them is easily equivalent to 4 others working. They were very very fast and more importantly very consistent, with great attention to detail. I haven't even mentioned the most important bit, our baby was 2 months old when we began this project so you can imagine we were pretty busy. Because of this we were very hands off with project. Kam ensured project proceeded in a timely manner. After seeing their hard work initially, I knew I could trust Kam and Hamid on the project. There were times where I didn't visit the site for weeks but work kept moving along. In the end he delivered the project pretty much on time, considering the fact that as new parents we were always behind in finalizing materials and encountered numerous shipping delays on bathroom/kitchen fixtures. I have also found them to be very flexible during the project. As an example, I mentioned a specific layout for recessed lights in our living room. Due to our schedule, we couldn't visit the house when they were installed and they continued making progress on other parts of the project. Later when we visited, we realized that we may have put too many lights and wanted some of them removed. Kam had no issues in going back and removing the lights, even if that meant he had to repeat some of the work he did on ceiling and walls. His only concern was that we should be happy with the project at the end of the day. I don't know how many times we thought during the project that we couldn't have found a better contractor. Kam and Hamid were absolute professionals and we're very glad to work with them. We have been living in the house for about 3 months and we love the way everything turned out. He was available to take our calls even after finishing the project if we needed anything. We are planning to work with them again on our window project soon. I can recommend Kam and Hamid for any remodeling project without any reservations, if you want to deal with someone who is friendly, knowledgeable and does quality work, then look no further! read more

Kam helped us with our house remodeling: hardwood floor, stairs, powder room, ceiling lights, switches, repaint, and closet doors. We did not have experience with remodeling the house before. On top of that we had the remodeling done remotely: we were in California and House was in Seattle area. Kam was easy to work with and shared his experience with us. He saved us money by advising against the entire hardwood floor replacement. Instead, he brought the hardwood floor and stair-railing to its original state at a much lower cost which looks beautiful now. He also gave good advice on paint selection, lighting, etc. without which we may not have made good choices. He gave us regular updates remotely via video calls. We had our bathroom fully remodeled by Interactive Remodeling. It was a complicated project. It involved creation of a Japanese style shower/bath area in which the heated bathtub is in the same enclosed space as the shower. This was separated from the rest of the bathroom by a glass wall with door. All top surfaces were made with translucent marble and the new double vanity had LED lights installed beneath the countertop so that it glows with flip of a wall switch. A new window, LED lights in the ceiling and over the vanity, a self-cleaning Japanese style toilet with heated seat and bidet, a heated floor and heated towel rack were installed. The walls were re-surfaced to make them smooth. There was quite a lot of electrical work and plumbing involved. As you can see from the photos, it all turned out beautifully. This is our first house and remodeling project so we had no experience and didn't know what to expect. We're very lucky to have found Kam. He guided us through every step of the way, and the name of his company is fitting because he is extremely interactive. He helped us turn our rough ideas into concrete plans by walking us through each step. He helped us lay out the bathroom plans and select the many things that were needed including fixtures, tiles, paints, cabinets, lights, etc. He did say at the start that it would be easier for us if we hired a designer, but after looking into some we felt that each designer has their own style and preferences, which are fine, but it would be difficult to make them exactly match our own. So although it was maybe a bit more work, in the end our bathroom turned out exactly as we hoped and it feels perfect for us. Without Kam we definitely could not have gone this route. Kam and his crew are very professional and always come on time and work hard all day. Every member of his crew was polite and friendly. We are glad to have made a connection with Interactive Remodeling because we plan to renovate other parts of our house in the future and they are in very high demand. If you are lucky enough to have them work with you, you won't be disappointed. I see a 1 star review because he did not respond to an inquiry. Keep in mind that Kam gets inquiries daily and can only take on an additional project once every few months. If you see how busy he is and how hard he works, you would fully understand why he can't respond to every inquiry. read more

Kam just built a wall for our master bathroom. He is professional she does great work. The wall and door were built meticulously with little impact to the existing wall, as if it was there all along. The project was straight forward, and turn around time was fantastic. He helped with extra work to remove and install our vanity and textured the wall. read more

Remodeling of 3 bathrooms was our first major project in our new home. It was an extensive work involved removing wall, re-routing plumbing, and electrical. We used Interactive Remodeling for an extensive remodel of our kitchen, dining room, master bathroom and framing for a large deck in our back yard. It was a HUGE job including a complete gut of the master bathroom and kitchen, removing a wall in the kitchen, adding a wall and framing for a door to master bathroom, moving back walls in bathroom, enlarging the shower, installing heavenly heated floors in the bathroom, replacing 9 doors in the home, adding hardwoods to the dining room, adding a large coat closet, replacing chair rail molding and baseboards to the first floor, and framing for a 20'x40' deck. Kam and his crew were absolutely amazing! His crew completed the job in just 8 weeks from start to finish! They were here Monday through Friday from 8-5 pm and worked hard and fast but with so much detail and care for our home. Day one the dumpster arrived, paper was put down to protect flooring and demo started. From that day on we were able to see progress each day and Kam promised that we would have a completed remodel by Christmas...and we did! There were even some additions and changes that fit right into the schedule. We have now had the benefit of living in the space for 9 months and are as happy today as we were the day it was completed. He was always available to take any of our calls before, during and after the project. If you want to deal with a friendly, extremely knowledgeable, quality detailed work, provides excellent customer service, sticks to a promised timeline and all at a very fair price then Kam is your contractor. read more

Kam, the owner of Interactive Remodeling is extremely knowledgeable and has impeccable vision. He was there every step of the way from designing, selecting colors, materials and overseeing his crew. With his great attention to detail and his high expectations of his crew, he put our mind at ease because he was our eyes. I contacted this company about my project through its web submission twice over the past few weeks. Never heard back. Even if you are extremely busy and are unable to take on any new job, at least have the decency to let your potential client know that you are unavailable. For what it's worth I am not looking at doing the remodel during the busiest season of the year i.e. summer, and my project is pretty large. This is a disappointment. read more

We recently finished our bathroom remodel with Interactive Remodeling. We came to Kam with a design in hand so this review is for communication, quality of work, professionalism, timeliness, and budget conscious. First I will say that Kam is incredibly responsive and I never had any trouble getting a hold of him or discussing details of the project/timelines/etc. I also found Kam to be very detail oriented and non defensive if we saw anything that wasn't quite like we wanted. He takes the time to get the job done right. While the crew was in the house they put down plastic/paper/tape you name it to keep the mess to a minimum. His crew was very respectful of our home and kept a friendly attitude. From the beginning, Kam let us know how long it takes to get certain pieces in and encouraged us to order as soon as possible. This made it possible for us to finish on time. Kam was very fair with his pricing and we didn't feel over changed at all. The only time the price changed was when we wanted extra things done and the scope of work changed. Even then Kam was reasonable with the pricing and we feel we got an excellent value. I don't normally write a review on Yelp but I have to do it for Kam. My family have gone through a few contractors. We have actually talked to at least 6 contractors in the area and these people came highly recommended. Most of them are either flakey or not available! But Kam is our favorite. Let me tell you why: 1. He's so detailed oriented. And so does his crew!! If you get him to do your house, they treat it as a piece of art. They will not disappoint you! You will have people coming to your house in awe! 2. Him and his crew are so honest and trustworthy. We had bought a faucet for the bathtub and it was the wrong kind. We were so crunched in time and they actually said that faucet isn't going to work! We would be disappointed. Other contractors would probably not care and have us regret. But they were so honest. They told us that we will hate the faucet we picked cause it's the wrong kind. So they waited for us to get right faucet. 3. Flexibility. At the end of the day, your house is their project. They are tired too! We threw so many twists in our project. It's not even funny. If it was family member who was doing this project, irregardless if they are being paid, they'll probably leave you hanging. Kam and his team was so patient and flexible! 4. Kam isn't there to make the big bucks and that's it. He works for your best interest. I wanted to paint all my doors white which other contractors had agreed they can do it. But Kam suggested to buy new ones. It'd save us more money and look more updated. 5. He would try to get you discounts everywhere you buy the materials. So for those of you trying to stay on a budget, you will like this fact. 6. His knowledge of what's trend out there is so updated. He kept telling me gray is the new "it" color. But I didn't believe it till I look at books on housing and actually paid attention to colors. 7. What he said he'll do, he will do it! I asked a very highly recommended contractor for the area for a quote that till this day (3 weeks later) I never got the quote. Kam gave me same day quote and any updates he gives it to you same day. read more
