Vanity
Fred P.

We had our bathroom fully remodeled by Interactive Remodeling. It was a complicated project. It involved creation of a Japanese style shower/bath area in which the heated bathtub is in the same enclosed space as the shower. This was separated from the rest of the bathroom by a glass wall with door. All top surfaces were made with translucent marble and the new double vanity had LED lights installed beneath the countertop so that it glows with flip of a wall switch. A new window, LED lights in the ceiling and over the vanity, a self-cleaning Japanese style toilet with heated seat and bidet, a heated floor and heated towel rack were installed. The walls were re-surfaced to make them smooth. There was quite a lot of electrical work and plumbing involved. As you can see from the photos, it all turned out beautifully. This is our first house and remodeling project so we had no experience and didn't know what to expect. We're very lucky to have found Kam. He guided us through every step of the way, and the name of his company is fitting because he is extremely interactive. He helped us turn our rough ideas into concrete plans by walking us through each step. He helped us lay out the bathroom plans and select the many things that were needed including fixtures, tiles, paints, cabinets, lights, etc. He did say at the start that it would be easier for us if we hired a designer, but after looking into some we felt that each designer has their own style and preferences, which are fine, but it would be difficult to make them exactly match our own. So although it was maybe a bit more work, in the end our bathroom turned out exactly as we hoped and it feels perfect for us. Without Kam we definitely could not have gone this route. Kam and his crew are very professional and always come on time and work hard all day. Every member of his crew was polite and friendly. We are glad to have made a connection with Interactive Remodeling because we plan to renovate other parts of our house in the future and they are in very high demand. If you are lucky enough to have them work with you, you won't be disappointed. I see a 1 star review because he did not respond to an inquiry. Keep in mind that Kam gets inquiries daily and can only take on an additional project once every few months. If you see how busy he is and how hard he works, you would fully understand why he can't respond to every inquiry.

Had a smallish drywall repair project and they nailed it--super quick, super clean, and the repair was perfect

The worker, Jacob, was right on time & quickly went to work repairing the age old clogged drain issue in kitchen sink. He worked hard & was able to get everything working perfectly. Appreciated his transparency about pricing along with trying to save me $$$$ wherever he could. He was very personable, professional, & cleaned up everything!!! Certainly will call this company again if needed...& ask for Jacob!!

Based on what I've recently learned with roots growing through drain pipes, I would opt for clearing drain pipes with a mechanical auger rather than a hydro jet since something is needed to cut out the roots. After the initial drain clearing, we paidfor an additional service to get a camera into our drain to see if there was any additional blockage. Hudson answered our questions about whether there were any additional blockages up to 100' (there were none), the path and slop of our drain pipe, and the location of low points in our drain pipe with a tool that identified the exact location of the camera. Though the cost of the appointment to use the camera was not inexpensive, I appreciated that we did learn useful information from the use of the camera.

Their staff (phone staff and on-site plumbers) are professional, communicate well and get the job done. I should call out though that you might be able to save a few $ if you went with an independent but that's kind of the case for most home repair/servicing companies. I've never used them for Electric and/or HVAC so I can't speak to that.

An AI voice answered the phone, asked me why I was calling, told me it was going to look up my account details, said it had a problem and that someone would contact me to follow up, and then hung up on me. A few hours later I got a text from "Cameron". I complained to "Cameron" about the experience I had from the AI phone answerer. "Cameron" apologize and told me that such an experience would frustrate him too...then "Cameron" decided to be transparent with me and tell me that he was in fact AI as well and "his" real name was "Carson". We went back and forth about 6 times to explain the problem I was having and to set up an appointment. Then "Cameron" told me that the time we worked out wasn't confirmed yet and that someone would be calling me to confirm the time. Thanks, "Cameron". This was Friday around 4:00PM. THE NEXT MORNING, a human being (I think) texted me from the same number to confirm the appointment. After I let them know how unhappy I was with the AI scheduling service, a human (I think) did call me and apologized for it. Then, on the day of the appointment, the technician arrived an hour and a half after the 12:00-16:00 window we had set up. I had to call them at 16:30 to ask if the technician was coming and they told me he would be there soon. When he did arrive, in the middle of me making dinner for my family, he told me that the faucet would need to be replaced and that it would be $750 (!!) in labor to fix it. Then I was charged $83 for his time (which I guess would be rolled into the service). So, in the end I still had a leaky faucet and I was out $83 with the option to pay $670 to replace a faucet (plus the cost of the faucet itself). For that price, I'm just going to do it myself. Then the spam texts started coming from "Cameron" asking about the estimate. I got one every day until I told it to stop texting me. This company used to be great but I'm going to be looking around the next time I need a plumber. Please ditch this stupid AI system. Please don't charge your customers if you're extremely late for your own four hour window - especially if the diagnosis takes five minutes and is "I can't fix it - replace the faucet".
