Eventually made it to scheduling 8 weeks out... fast forward to today OCT 1st... I never received a confirmation that they were coming or a time frame they would arrive. They show up unannounced while I'm at work and are repeatedly calling/emailing me. The office manager, Leslie, left me a nasty email. When told that I was not home because they never confirmed, she replied with "We do not work that way. Never have, never will." She was extremely rude and unprofessional. They were not happy that they traveled a distance and I was not home due to the lack of communication. How is this a proper way to conduct business? It is 2026. A confirmation that you were coming and a time frame is pretty standard for business nowadays. If you're mad about me not being home and you traveling a distance then maybe you should have confirmed the appointment. They also didn't even offer to reschedule. When I told them I could have someone there in an hour I was told we had to cancel the job all together. My business clearly means nothing to them. Needless to say I do not recommend using them for anything.

While he was there to provide the quote, he noticed the kitchen floor was really cold (he took off his shoes when he entered the house). He pulled out his thermal camera and we saw the floor was 30-40F! I had noticed that area of the kitchen was cold in winter, but didn't realize it was coming from the floor, where kitchen is cantilevered out past the foundation wall. He proposed insulating the cantilevered area with spray foam, and then said he could insulate all the rim joists in the basement for the same price. A week or so later, while he was onsite doing the insulating, I mentioned I was going to finish the basement later in the year, and expected to use 3 inch foam panels. He suggested using spray foam instead since that would give me a few inches more space in the room. He gave me a price and I said I'd think about it. As I thought about it, I realized getting a few more inches in the room, and also getting a better sealing product would be worth it, and would save me many hours of labor and a lot of material costs. In summer, I started work on the basement project, and once I had the framing up and electrical roughed in, I called (now July) to schedule the spray foam. Randy honored the price from January, scheduled the job quickly, and it looks great! Something I especially appreciate about Randy and Paragon is that the guy who quotes the job actually does the job; it's not some sales guy, it's the owner who quotes AND does the work! I could not be happier. I worried about my new roof being cut open to add 8 vents to my ranch home. The guy on the phone did the math with me and explained the codes and how he calculated the number of vents. This team even visited my home spent a lot of time taking pictures measuring, and looking for missing baffels in my attic soffit vents. It turned out we were missing almost everything to do it right. This proposal Engineer spent 45 minutes evaluating everything. Vaulted ceilings in 3 areas of my ranch home. Great service! Blake came out to help with our mice problem. We started with some traps to see if…read morethat would resolve the issue. Sadly, it did not. We had to do more. We called Blake out again to which he set more traps, identified entry points around the outside of the house, and sealed everything up. He was kind, polite, and very knowledgeable. He showed us what he was doing and why. I personally love when I learn the "why". After sealing up the house, he came back 2 weeks later to check on the traps and see how things were going. Their service comes with a solid warranty and any new critters we encounter, just give them a call and they'll come out to check, diagnose, and fix.
