My laptop had developed serious problems - the battery had begun to swell, the case was warped and I was faced with the possibility of losing all my data. The Geek Squad had warned me that they probably would not be able to bring it back to life and I should be prepared to invest in a new laptop. Jay explained that the HP Envy I had was better constructed than newer models. He thought replacing the battery and the hard drive would solve my problems.
