My van had a major flat tire today, and so I called AAA, again asking for Don to come out. He was there within a half hour...lucky me! My spare tire is absolutely the pits to get out, so Don and I decided to have him tow my car to Les Schwab in Gresham. As always, he was courteous and friendly, and remembered us from all the other times we've called for him. Don made absolutely sure that the very front of my van wouldn't hit the pavement as he was loading it, even using extra blocks to aid in the process. Within just a few minutes, my van was on its way to get fixed. I give Don extra extra credit because he had to back up our 1/10 mile steep, curving, driveway to get to my van. Don was the only towing provider to respond to my request for a quote, and his price for hookup was lower than what I paid months ago for having another vehicle towed. He loaded my VW Golf and secured it quickly and efficiently. At the auto repair shop Don unloaded the VW and prepared the invoice. I paid him with a credit card and he gave me the receipt, marked 'paid.' I told him that while I appreciated the quality of his service I hoped we would not be doing business again. Don (perhaps the owner, or maybe one of their main guys?) actually lives in my neighborhood in Gresham; I've seen his truck in his driveway and said hello a few times while walking the neighborhood. He is a friendly guy. So recently we needed to have our car towed a couple times between a repair shop and the dealer (and then back to the independent repair shop). It was easy to get it scheduled, the price was fair, and there were no problems. They have multiple trucks, and are looking for high quality drivers that don't swear at customers, good-type operators. Until they find the right employees, their schedule means they may be busy. But you might prefer a good tow, rather than a tow by the bad type operators that have many trucks on the road repossessing cars or clearing parking lots. They also directly bill some insurance companies if you have towing insurance. If you have AAA, you can also call direct. Not all AAA towers are that great. At 7 AM I made a request through my insurance to get a jump on my car. The text I received said they would arrive within 60 minutes. After 60 minutes I called to ask where they were and they said it would be another 60 minutes at least. The man on the phone took no responsibility. Very unreliable company. I never have to do anything in regards to dealing with cars, I visit the gas station, and somebody else makes sure my oil and everything else are fine. I've jumped my car before and that is about it. So when my car wouldn't start, even after a jump I was freaking out, I didn't know what to do. I found a shop to go to & started to feel better. Then I had to find a tow, I called about 5 different tow companies. Don at Integrity Towing was the one who made me feel the most comfortable on the phone, gave me a realistic time and cost quote, answering my questions before I could even ask. Luckily everybody else had long time quotes of up to over an hour and I needed to get it taken care of stat, Don took about 30-45 min to get to me. I'm so glad that I ended up with integrity towing, Don let me wait in the truck (it was raining) while he got the car on the bed. He was so nice and friendly, he made me feel a lot better in the middle of a really stressful situation. If I ever need a tow again I will certainly choose Integrity Towing. I met Don this morning. He was referred to me by TVG Volvo, another Yelp 5-star business. I was expecting the stereotypical tow truck bull dog driver. Instead, I got Don. He arrived exactly at the time agreed on. He introduced himself and we talked about the beautiful fall colors, house repairs, bicycles. He gently loaded my car, then my bicycle that I needed to get home from the shop. On route the bike shifted. He noticed, stopped, and set it right again. Don is a great guy! Don is a wonderful person, he came to help me get my daughters car out of thick blackberry bushes when she lost control of her car. We had another two company refuse to get her car out and my mom suggested I call Don off of her experience with him. He said he wasn't sure if he could get it out given the difficult location and the size of his truck but that he would make the trip out and "not leave me stranded willingly". He called me when he was close he checked out the situation and went to work getting her car out, he got it out much faster than I expected too! He was so positive and friendly especially when he could see that I was bothered by the other two driver and the severity of what could have happened if her car would have gone a little but the other way. I've used Don twice now, and both times he was consistently friendly, courteous, and professional. This time he was also unflappable - my daughter's car needed a tow, and as she was headed out of town I tried to set it up on her behalf. Mistake. It wasn't at an actual address, so she sent me a Google maps pin. Second mistake. After driving around the area several times Don called me, and I finally got my daughter on the phone. She was able to speak to him directly and it turned out he was driving around looking in the wrong area. I felt so bad, as he had shoehorned us into his schedule that day. I just moved into a house in far NW Portland, and at night my driveway is very dark. I backed up too far and ended up with my rear right tire hanging over edge into woodsy oblivian. Not pleasant. Worst service you can imagine, they said 60 minutes max for the tow and we waited 3 hours, every time we called them it was another excuse, the truck needs to refuel, his phone died, blabla unbelievable and it's expensive as well. Our tow was only 7 miles but we are being charged for 11 miles, why? Just because their map is different than google maps apparently. read more

I made a request through my road assistance to have a tow service. They promised to come around 12pm. I waited till 1pm then made a call to ask why they didn't show up. They promised to have the service arrive before 3:30pm. Then I kept waiting till 4pm and made anther call. They told me I had to wait for my service tomorrow. I have never been disappointed with Integrity. My daughter's car was totaled yesterday and another towing company (the one the police called) took her car to their lot. I wasn't sure what to do to get her car to the body shop and deal with insurance, etc... I called Integrity and Don got back to me within 15 minutes.
