I'm not sure what is up with Anthony the past month, you will see 3 recent reviews on Google and…read moreone other here saying he ghosted people. The same happened to me on Tuesday. Maybe he has hit a rough spot in life, I'd used him 2 times over a year ago and it went well. However, he is not reliable right now and I would not use him under any circumstances. Tuesday I had a breakdown returning to Portland from Seattle. We scheduled a time at 5pm for him to meet me in Castle Rock and agreed to a price. He wrote at 4pm to say his current job was taking longer than expected. I wrote him at 5 and asked for an ETA. Called him at 6. Texted again. No response. Finally at 6:30 I had to start looking for another tow truck, and by then it was after hours and the prices go up. The guy from Jacobson's Chevron had to leave home to come get me. Good guy, And we were able to get the car home, but it was hundreds of dollars more than what Tony had offered. No explanation ever came, no text, no call, nothing. And stuck paying hundreds of more dollars. Really strange as a repeat customer especially. Avoid Urban Miner until he corrects what is going on and addresses how his business reviews are tanking...

Sure, thats because there was exactly one employee in the trailer and was already juggling a phone that basically never stopped ringing. She did apologize for the wait, probably because I very visibly was waiting patiently and not being a dick about it. Once she was able to get me processed I was in and out super quick. Was it expensive? Yeah...yeah it was. But place that annoyance on the city, they are the ones that can set into law what amount towers can charge. I was also a police tow (apparently I can't read signs, def my bad) and not private lot/owner tow.

The court can effect service but when it comes to making good on their obligations they disappear. Those not in the know: unlawful conversion is an overly formal way of saying theft. They'll argue with me in email trying to rehash a case that was decided against them meaning they know they're legally liable to compensate me for my vehicle but accountability appears to be a foreign concept for this company. Save yourself a headache and just take your business elsewhere.
