Maybe he has hit a rough spot in life, I'd used him 2 times over a year ago and it went well. However, he is not reliable right now and I would not use him under any circumstances. Tuesday I had a breakdown returning to Portland from Seattle. We scheduled a time at 5pm for him to meet me in Castle Rock and agreed to a price. He wrote at 4pm to say his current job was taking longer than expected. I wrote him at 5 and asked for an ETA. Called him at 6. Texted again. No response. Finally at 6:30 I had to start looking for another tow truck, and by then it was after hours and the prices go up. The guy from Johnson's Chevron had to leave home to come get me. Good guy, And we were able to get the car home, but it was hundreds of dollars more than what Tony had offered. Bo explanation ever came, no text, no call, nothing. The court can effect service but when it comes to making good on their obligations they disappear. Those not in the know: unlawful conversion is an overly formal way of saying theft. They'll argue with me in email trying to rehash a case that was decided against them meaning they know they're legally liable to compensate me for my vehicle but accountability appears to be a foreign concept for this company. Gave them the address and after 30 minutes texted very specific directions. After 2-3 phone calls back and forth and a few texts, after trying to wave down the driver before he turned the wrong way in our condominium complex, I get a call saying "...we're not coming...he can't find the place...I have another customer to help...". I was looking right at his truck driving around the complex, waving and waving to get his attention! He gave up and left before calling me to say he wasn't coming. So much for professionalism. So much for courtesy. So much for follow through. What a business model!
