James returned my call promptly for starters and was highly professional throughout the entire process. He was on time for the appointments that were set and followed up on matters he said he would. He provided expertise and explanations for all his recommendations and not a pushy sales pitch. He did not put others contractors down but was confident in his companies abilities. And if you've seen any pictures of the work Golden Eagle pools has done, you know why. And to boot, he did not charge me 1 cent as we decided the repairs could wait until the pool needed resurfacing in the distant future. If you are looking for a pool company with integrity to either build your dream pool or help you maintain it, give James a call. Many Thanks James!

"I wish I'd said something sooner. We used Golden Eagle Pools for years and it was a nightmare…read more They had such high turnover that we rarely saw the same guy twice. Different new young strangers walking straight through our screened-in living room and TV area, propping the door wide open and leaving it that way. One time they left the door open long enough for our pet to escape into the alligator-filled river in our backyard. Another visit, they serviced the filter but never put the top back on. The lid blew off like a rocket, could've taken someone's head off, and our pool nearly drained completely. That caused thousands in damage, and they never paid a dime. We got a half a** apology at Best. In writing. The previous owner of my home had just replaced the pump, but almost immediately they came back saying I needed to replace it again. Then within a couple months they insisted I had to replace the light too. I can't even count how many thousands of dollars I gave them, only to end up with even more thousands in damage they caused and refused to fix. We finally switched to Tropical Pools, and they've been awesome. If you're looking for pool service, stay far away from Golden Eagle."

They put in the wrong pool which was much smaller than the one she ordered and what was advertised . We have paid over 100k and have a pool worth about 30k as it is a fiberglass pool that was not installed properly . They advertised a much larger pool and then switched and gave her a much smaller pool . They said the pool would be done by summer and it took them well over a year to get it done. They ruined my daughter's yard and it even flooded into her neighbors yard . They never completed the pool but just kept asking for more money . Being a business owner for several years myself, I am appalled at the dishonesty of this company and lack of common courtesy . I don't know how they stay in business.

There was also a few "drops" dripping by my filter that I corrected immediately by tightening. I continued to lose well over 1/2-3/4" a day even during cold wet days through the winter. I was paid another visit and told it was evaporation. I insisted it wasn't as I had never had to refill my pool twice a week in many years (especially when no one was swimming in it). Eventually they came out and again, said it was all set. It wasn't. After my last $400 water bill and continuing to fill my pool twice a week, I went on Amazon, spent $15 on Dye and $15 on Putty and found 2 more leaks around the jets and waterfall that were relatively big. Guess what, no more leakage for weeks. I'm not saying everyone can DIY it. I'm just expressing my dissatisfaction as I really had I expected them to either fix it, or do a full or even partial refund to help cover my loss for the months of gaslighting about evaporation where I had to pay for excessive water loss.
