This all started over two years ago when I purchased a home in Jacksonville. Before the home was listed for sale by the previous owners, they tried to have the pool lights fixed under warranty. However, because it was COVID times, Poolside Designs said there would be no way they could fix the pool before the home was sold, but since the lights were under warranty and the previous owners put in the request so early (almost a year), they would honor the warranty and fix the light, regardless of who owned the home. I have this in writing, in fact, the language Poolside Design used in their e-mail was included in the final terms of the contract. Everyone was onboard that Poolside Designs were fixing the lights.
Well, once we took ownership of the home, I tried having Poolside Designs come out and fix the lights. At this point they totally refused. They said we were not the original owners and, basically, we could go fly a kite, they weren't coming out. This was a total breach of their original agreement. Due to this, I simply went online, left them a few poor reviews, and included screenshots of the e-mails highlighting where they said they would fix the lights regardless of who owned the home and then screenshots of e-mails highlighting where they said they would not fix the lights because ownership has changed.
Shortly after leaving these reviews Poolside Designs reached out and asked how they could fix the situation and have me remove the negative reviews. I simply said if they would fix the lights, I would remove the reviews. As a result, they replaced the lights and I removed the negative posts.
Unfortunately, these "new" lights stopped working in just a handful of months. Once again, I reach out to PD and asked if they can come out and look at the lights. Again, they are slow to respond but eventually send someone out. This person was skeptical of our wiring and had an electrician check the voltage and ensure the wiring (which they would have originally done) wasn't causing the issue. Well, they could find nothing wrong with the outlet, voltage, or wiring, so once again, these lights just failed. I now just want the lights fixed. I am done arguing with this company. I simply ask for an estimate.
Well, that was nearly 4 months ago. Since that time Poolside Designs have refused to reply to my calls or my emails.

Hey Derek,
It has been less than a year since you replaced the pool lights and they are not working once again. All but one is off and the one that is on just flickers. Is 1 year the lifespan of these lights? If I remember correctly they only lasted about a year the first time. Regardless, I doubt this is a warranty fix this time, so if someone could come out and take a look at them I would appreciate it.
Thank You,
Stephen

I will get someone by to look at them. Usually, the life span of the lights is much longer. Mine are 5 years old and never had an issue. A power surge can cause issues. I will see what we can do.

Hey Derek,
Wanted to check in on the pool lights. I know you had someone come out and determine the lights were indeed broken. One is working normally now. I would like to know what can be done to fix the lights or get a quote to have new ones installed.
Thank You.

Any movement on this? I am not sure if this helps you make a better deal, but we are interested in having our pump replaced/upgraded and possibly have the pool heated.

Hey Derek,
You never replied to my 12/13 email. On 12/1 you said you would provide a quote that Monday. It is now 12/30 and still nothing. Keep in mind I first reached out to you on 9/30. Surely, doing business with you all cannot be this painful. What am I missing?
