One day, I looked around and had enough! I started to research home organizers and read tons of reviews for different companies. I reached out to a couple but a call with Jenn sealed the deal. Jenn listened carefully to our needs, got an idea of what we needed, and walked me through her process. I really appreciated that she intended to come prepared with all of the organization tools she'd need, requesting measurements of my cabinets/storage spaces well in advance so she can shop for the perfect bins, etc for our spaces. She also gave me a quote and time estimate that was extremely reasonable. We decided on two days beforehand and in anticipation of all of the *stuff* we'd be clearing out, Jenn also organized a donation pickup that would come straight to our door! On the first day, Jenn arrived with her car full of storage bins. We walked her through the kitchen, showing her what items were used most frequently, how we cook, etc. Jenn was super thoughtful in the questions she'd ask to maximize the utility of our kitchen space. Throughout the day, Jenn would check in to ask about items to be thrown away, how often we use certain ingredients, etc. The end result was a beautifully organized kitchen space that was *functional*. Bonus - we could see our kitchen counters again!! The way she organized everything just made sense - she truly has a gift for this. I also wanted to note that I was working from home while Jenn was organizing in the kitchen and she was so respectful of our time and patient while I was held up on work calls. The second day went just as smoothly. We had a storage cabinet that was just an explosion of random items we couldn't find proper places for, and Jenn somehow found a way to find make sense of the mess! The true value is the condition in which my space is in when she leaves my home each time: I don't feel weighed down by the clutter and everything has a home. I also specifically asked that they use only our cleaning products due to having a newborn and personal allergies. At one point, my husband noticed they were using their own product and had to remind them to switch back to ours. This frustrated me quite a bit, especially since I had mentioned this to the office as well the day before. We had booked 3 hours, but they finished in about 2 hours and seemed rushed overall. A few areas were missed, including under some appliances, parts of the baseboards, the windows, and dusting our console table and dining room table. When my husband reminded them about the windows before they left, it was wiped quickly with a cloth rather than properly cleaned, which felt a bit rushed. I had mentioned the windows specifically when they first arrived, so it was frustrating that they missed it and when reminded, they wiped it down very quickly. Communication was a little awkward. If they had a question, they would call their office, and then the office would call us. I completely understand there may be a language barrier, but it did make the process feel less smooth and made us feel as though we couldn't specify our wants directly. We did ask for a small discount due to the late arrival. They were hesitant, but ultimately took $20 off. Overall, the areas they did clean were done pretty well, and I appreciated that they wore shoe coverings in our home. Saying that my home would need more cleaning? Both maids never left the kitchen never to even remotely asses if i needed more hours (which i offered to pay for) ... All in all i got absolutely zip from this company and am EXTREMELY disappointed. I would AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I though that's great, because the ladies could focus on those items that need deep cleaning which is more than enough time. The two ladies (Sheila and Erika) showed up on time with great attitudes. I walked them over those items I'd like to be done and let me go about there work. Within 2 hours they were done and had me sign to complete. However I was not satisfied as they only cleaned the outside of the oven and microwave. They didn't vacuum the stairs and the Master Bedroom toilet had blue liquid in the bowl. My tile floors were mopped but not vacuumed or swept. Again, thank you for showing up on time and sending to wonderful ladies. However, perhaps my expectations are too high so I hope to find a service that can help me with a cleaning worth the time and money.
