I really wanted to love this company based on their 5-star reviews, and we had high hopes since we hired them for some extra help postpartum with a newborn at home. They were able to get us scheduled quickly and came the very next day, which I appreciated. The arrival window was 12-1pm, but they showed up closer to 1:45. I told the three ladies everything we wanted done: floors, kitchen, bathroom, baseboards, furniture, windows, etc. They got straight to work and were very efficient. I also specifically asked that they use only our cleaning products due to having a newborn and personal allergies. At one point, my husband noticed they were using their own product and had to remind them to switch back to ours. This frustrated me quite a bit, especially since I had mentioned this to the office as well the day before. We had booked 3 hours, but they finished in about 2 hours and seemed rushed overall. A few areas were missed, including under some appliances, parts of the baseboards, the windows, and dusting our console table and dining room table. When my husband reminded them about the windows before they left, it was wiped quickly with a cloth rather than properly cleaned, which felt a bit rushed. I had mentioned the windows specifically when they first arrived, so it was frustrating that they missed it and when reminded, they wiped it down very quickly. Communication was a little awkward. If they had a question, they would call their office, and then the office would call us. I completely understand there may be a language barrier, but it did make the process feel less smooth and made us feel as though we couldn't specify our wants directly. We did ask for a small discount due to the late arrival. They were hesitant, but ultimately took $20 off. Overall, the areas they did clean were done pretty well, and I appreciated that they wore shoe coverings in our home. I just wish the experience had felt a bit more thorough and aligned with the 5-star expectations. read more

They are very nice ladies but not thorough at all. I did a walk through before they cleaned and pointed out specific areas. After they cleaned, those areas were still untouched, which I pointed out in the final walk through. They are good for organizing but not so much for cleaning. We were really happy with how responsive Iris Cleaning was when we called. This was our first time using a cleaning service so we had lots of questions they were happy to answer. Elisa and Mireya were really efficient and thorough while I was at home with our puppy. Really great company. We were having a big party and needed to get the house detail-cleaned. My wife and I both work, and she was seeing the clock tick down with much to do. I suggested that we bring someone in from the outside to knock out the cleaning, and she agreed. It was a last minute idea, and I reached out to several companies via yelp! on the Tuesday evening before the Saturday party. Not last second, but last minute. I didn't think any of the companies would be able to fit us in on such short notice. I was contacted by Diana at Iris, and, as I thought, she said she was booked up. I thanked her, basically it was my fault for waiting so late to request a service. The next evening, she called me to let me know that she had spoken to her teams and that she would be able to juggle things around to fit us in on Friday. I said yes, and the appointment was scheduled between 9am and 10am, with the variance only due to uncertain travel time to my home. Fast forward to Friday, and who shows up right on time but NINA and TANYA from Iris. They have a company vehicle and are in uniform shirts, very friendly and nice. We went through what had to be done and the priorities. After that, I retired to my home office to work and let them do their thing. How did they do? They work HARD and they pay attention to details. They moved furniture to clean under and behind, took down all kinds of stuff that my wife has on top of our TV furniture, scrubbed bathtubs, toilets, stoves and so on. The floors were vacuumed and scrubbed and the whole house looked squeaky clean and smelled great. The test was my wife, returning home from work, walking around checking things out and then smiling. This company went above and beyond my wildest expectations! I hired them for a deep clean as I have been injured for a month, causing me to fall behind on house cleaning. I did not know what to expect as this was my first time hiring a cleaning service, but WOW! My house has NEVER been this clean, smelled this good, or been more organized. They were able to get my shower cleaner than I've ever been able to despite my best efforts, make my stovetop look like new, they cleaned the interior of my fridge? Despite it being full of groceries! But most of all, I fell behind on laundry. Due to my injury I couldn't fold my clothes and this team FOLDED MY CLOTHES AND PUT THEM AWAY!
