Sticking with the brand name, we attempted that here. BIG MISTAKE. We happened to catch a commercial of Mark's Floors and noticed it was a local store! We went in and spoke with Margaret who was soo much more personable and helpful than the other employee at Carpet One. Not only was she helpful but she listened to our wants and took us over to the carpet that we requested. We found one we liked almost instantly! One thing we noticed that we were unfamiliar with in comparison to stores like Lowe's, Home Depot, and Carpet One, is the cost on the back of the carpet was the one and only number. We LOVED this! It included the labor and padding all in one! There was no multiple levels of padding! It was hey, we got good padding and it's included in the all in one price!! The entire process was smooth and the carpet was about $4,500 less than our quote from several other places! We expected to wait for a while for the carpet to be installed, due to it being a smaller business, and we needed roughly 3,000sqft of carpet! We were amazed at the two week turnaround including the measurement day, then the carpet delivery, and even the installation! Two amazing gentleman got here at 8:30am on May 1st 2023, and were moving furniture, pulling up the old carpet and padding, bringing up the new carpet and padding. The work ethic and speed at which they were doing quality work is hardly ever seen! We were stunned and impressed! As they were getting to the downstairs they only had 3 rooms left and it was nearing 6:30pm. They were willing to stay and finish, but we requested that they go home and rest! We cannot say enough about the look, the color, and the durability thus far of this carpet!! From the start with Margaret's hospitality, to the cost structure, the turn around time, and finally the work ethic of the installers, we can not give enough praise to this company! In the future we plan on replacing our tile and will absolutely being coming back here!! Impressed is an understatement!
