I was really happy with my floors! I get almost all of my recommendations from my neighbor who is also a real estate agent and has lived in the area all her life. She knows all the best people so I wasn't too surprised when she said Creative Floors because I'd gone out myself to three different floor companies for three different estimates and they far and away seemed like the most honest and the most on top of things. A lot of people really marked up the cost of flooring so they could 'give you a deal' which immediately put me off. Creative Flooring doesn't do that. The guys that came and did my floor worked really hard and did a great job of making it perfect. Someone must have accidentally tripped over the cord for my adjustable bed frame and the cord broke - I was really impressed that Creative Floors took care of it. The person we worked with was Bob who was just terrific! He was patient, helpful, and professional with us the whole way and made buying the flooring a real breeze. My whole experience was great. This is the second time we used creative floors. They were recommended by a friend and we couldn't be happier. 2 years ago they put in hardwood tile in a majority of our home. Amazing workers and great service. This past week we had the 2 guest rooms/office updates to laminate (carpet removed). Again great service! Long story short -- I should've trusted my instincts instead of my husbands judgement on vendors. I initially visited Bob Hapka in July 2017 for a dishwasher leak. Fast forward to Jan 2018 where I let my husband manage a renovation that went terribly wrong. We ended up hiring a Certified Flooring Inspector for a wood look tile install from a GC that was horrid. Fired the GC and was back to square one still living upstairs after 4 months. Imagine that with two 3 year olds with no access to bottom floor!!! The CFI recommendation was a name I was very familiar with -- Bob Hapka from Creative Floors. After all this time I went back and Bob remembered me. There was a specific color that I wanted and I brought in a sample from another store. He was able to find that wood and beat that price. Let me continue by saying I am VERY detailed oriented and picky. Ok, I wanted this job done and I wanted it done right. Bob was so understanding of my concerns and nervousness. I can't thank him enough for dealing with my pickiness of wood. He set me up with the best install crew EVER! Brent Taylor (Taylor Renovations) YOU AND YOUR TEAM are the best!!! In July I stopped by the Casselberry store after much research, reviews BBB etc. I met Carl he was very nice and was no pressure. Once I paid my 50% things took a turn. I called a couple weeks prior to install to inquire how I should prepare (I had laminate flooring but they thought there was vinyl composite under it)- that's where the red flags started. I was told there were would be very little mess when I started to ask more questions I was told "you will figure it out" and that they had to go another customer was in front of them! Not even an offer to call back. Day of install- the team showed up, they are subcontracted but I was assured these guys worked for CF for over 20 years and have even done the owners homes- sounds good right!! WRONG! They showed up and started to work, I left the home. I got a call from a neighbor that a lot of my furniture was outside in the sun and uncovered and it was about to rain. I drove home and a few things had happened, furniture was outside but more troubling was that their was vinyl composite under the laminate and they were jackhammering-scraping it off the floor and they never bothered to cover anything...it was everywhere. I stopped them immediately and asked why they didn't cover anything or call me and it became very dirty and messy and they said "no need"...I guess they don't care about other people's belongings. I found plastic from what i had covered the cabinets and sheets to cover some stuff but at that point it was too late. They also cut open the plastic over my cabinets so they could get to the sink instead of find another water source. At that point I should have stayed but I left hoping things would be ok. I received a call from Carl that since the composite was throughout the house it would be another charge and that there was even a third later. When i had a couple of questions about where this was he told me it was throughout the entire house with 3 layers and the cost was more than i had thought and it just is how it goes and he didn't have time to discuss he had a customer there. I had given the key to the supervisor and showed up just after they had left for the day. Doors were left unlocked, there was half eaten food and containers was on top of my furniture ZERO respect for my personal property, there was also not 3 layers in the entire him as Carl had stated because i was able to see in the unfinished rooms . I called the CF store and spoke to Bobby (GM) sent him photos of the mess including food left behind, composite tile pieces all over the home, the door situation, and the lack of 3 layers of composite and he said he would take care of it and the next day would be VERY different. Second day I was there at the start but had to get to work, I gave them plastic to cover and they said they would do it (of course they didn't). End of the day I returned and I thought things were turning around until I came inside and realized my refrigerator was left unplugged! I then noticed all the contractor bags I keep in the garage was gone, they had helped themselves to it. Of course I called Bobby again and was extremely upset. It was apparent this crew was accustom to new construction and had no concept of respect or checking things before they left a job for the day. On the final day I came home the tile was completed and again doors left unlocked! At this point I had already called and spoken to owner of CF and she offered to have a cleaning company come in and clean and she was very nice and very shocked at what was going on because the sun had worked for her for 20 years. But she assured me I would be happy with the labor. Well unfortunately not! There were about a dozen at minimum tiles that needed to be replaced due to lippage. I had told the owner that I would not pay my final until I was happy and I personally could do a thorough walk-thru as I had lost all trust in their company and work. They sent out the GM Bobby who came in with an attitude and made it clear he was here to prove a point - NEVER was I asked how can we make you happy or make it right- everything I showed him was met with "I can send a tile inspector out and he will find it within tolerance and we won't have to fix anything! " who says that?!?! There was ZERO customer service. In the end I was able to get them to fix the tiles with a different crew and a small concession: I can tell u this, I would much rather it have been done right from the beginning as the level of stress this caused me you can't put a dollar value on. I would avoid this company at all costs. When you tell the customer that you've had issues with the subcontractor before not being the neatest and not going back over his crews work THATS A PROBLEM. We just recently had our 3 children's bedrooms re-carpeted (is that a word?), and I was adamant on using a small business versus your typical Home Depot or Lowes. Their showroom has lots of options at every price point, but not so many that you feel like quitting. Super helpful employees, and every time you call they remember you. I really appreciate not being not talked down to or oversold on products, which they were very upfront and honest about what I didn't need. They use subcontractors for install (I asked, and they use like, the same 3 companies for all their work) and they were really respectful when in our home. Creative Floors finished our new tile floors yesterday and we could not be happier! We had our condo floors done last year and we couldn't be happier. Creative Floors offers a pressure-free sales approach that really agreed with my wife and my needs. Carl took care of us and answered many of our questions. We had several trips to the showroom where we were educated on the different types of flooring based on our needs. We even took large samples home so we can get a real feel of how they would look with our newly painted walls and the lighting in our home. We went with luxury vinyl planks for majority of the house including the bathrooms as they offered stain, scratch and waterproof protection, and carpet in the bedrooms. We used their installers who only work specific for Creative Floors and they did a great job. Super friendly and I felt safe with them in my home. We have been a customer of Creative Floors over the past eleven years. Most recently, we decided to renovate part of our house and re-floor the rest of the house. Bob Hapka was very helpful in showing us all the alternatives and allowing us to take many samples home for consideration. He provided a very competitive price for materials and installation. Bob was very responsive in person, over the phone and even with email as we made our choices and scheduled the installation. We have completed the first phase of the flooring. The installers from Creative Floors showed up on time, did a very professional job and thoroughly cleaned up all work debris before they left. The finished product, a luxury vinyl plank called COREtec, looks great. Creative Floors also provided the porcelain tile that was used for our new bathroom and shower. Because of the continued good service and products we have enjoyed from Creative Floors, we are now busy selecting the flooring for the remaining areas of our home. It is a 20-minute drive from our house to Creative Floors and we pass many flooring stores along the way, but it is worth the drive to get service and prices that exceed our expectations. read more

Their customer service in the store is great. Their installation guys suck. Carpet was cut too short in one room, so there is a gap from the wall to the edge of the carpet. They fluffed it towards the wall, so it wasn't until after they left that I noticed there was a gap. They took paint off freshly painted walls, leaving holes in places with whatever tools they were using. About a couple feet from the floor they took an inch of wood out of the door trim, newly re-finished trim. When they did they stairs, they gouged the trim all the way up and down, again, newly re-finished trim. Now I'm stuck trying to patch holes, repaint areas, and re-lacquer trim over new carpet. I would not recommend you use their installation services. Find someone who knows how to install carpet. read more

I purchased Daltile wood look floors and the sample at creative floors was completely different than the product that was installed ( they were brown like wood but had orange variations when installed). During installation it was discovered the floor was a burnt orange color vs brown like the samples I was provided. Unfortunately I had to have the floors removed due to the uncertain dye lots. I was charged $4000 to have the floor removed, for the product that was installed, the tile that was installed and a 20% restocking fee for the product I returned. Nancy said she was going to meet with the rep to see if the 20% restocking fee could be waived and I never heard from her. This would have never happened had I went to Lowes or HomeDepot or flooring America ( who guarantees if you do not like the product they will take of it). Against my better judgement I went to an unreputable company that does not care about there customers. To make it worse I needed to find new floors and have the floor installed. They did not offer any discounts or relief at all. Even if the variation was normal and I picked the wrong floor, they could have only charged me cost or some kind of discount that would have broke even for the error and I would have purchased new floors and had them installed. But they were cold hearted and greedy. Luckly I found new flooring and installation at SCS floors the owner was very nice and helpful. read more

Creative Floors did a great job on a tile installation in a Florida room/office and enclosed porch, and on luxury vinyl tile in our kitchen. We first visited them in January 2018 to get a quote on the ceramic tile. A short while later, we had an ice maker line leak, which did major damage to our kitchen floor. We decided to get all the floors done at the same time. The tile took 3 days, but it was about 400 square feet; the kitchen took about 4 hours. We had decorative tile put on the stair risers leading from our Florida room/office to the porch, and it looks spectacular! The initial tile we had chosen was no longer available, but Carl was able to find an almost identical tile, and we are very happy with both the ceramic and LVT. Installers did a great job, and the prices were good. We had gotten an estimate from another flooring company, who were not only much higher than Creative Floors, but were not at all responsive. They carry a huge selection of all kinds of flooring, so there is sure to be something to meet just about every taste and budget. read more

I first purchased tile for my kitchen and bathroom floors. I was very concerned about the tile having good traction when wet. Tim Kirby was very helpful in suggesting appropriate tiles and encouraged me to take the sample board home to try. I was so pleased with the results in my kitchen, I decided to also tile my lanai floor. It was in very bad shape following a misguided paint job.
