They didn't order enough flooring for the job and the stair nosing were all wrong. The only way for me to get the job finished was to pay them more money to do what should have been done in the first place!! Hard to get any answers from them. I do have to say that despite the problems, the installation was done very professionally and looks great! Just expect delays and additional cost. I was also promised a refund for some material that they didn't order and have never received it!!

I trusted this company, referred by a close friend, but it became a nightmare. Dustin Chandler gave…read moreme an estimate and said at most five leveling bags might be needed, and that I'd likely get a refund since most people don't need leveling. Once the floor was torn out, they demanded 35 bags, and my cost jumped by over 50%. At that point, I felt like I was being held hostage. They told me if I didn't pay, they would leave me with an unfinished floor. I was completely stuck. Even if they had asked for 10k more, I would have had to pay. The drilling was extreme. Recessed lights came loose and fell out. Some vents fell out, and others were left hanging, turning the first floor into a mess. I had no warning this kind of damage could happen. When I couldn't get help from the staff, I contacted the owner, Celeste Carr, expecting some resolution. The worst part of this entire experience was speaking to the owner, who told me I was being offered only cents on the dollar as a courtesy, which I declined given what I had already paid. Instead of helping, she justified everything and told me I should have read the fine print. I felt betrayed. My advice: read every line carefully. This company leaves you without options once you're in. I fully expect the owner will respond with a fabricated story, but I stand by my experience.

When completing research at floor companies locally and within reasonable distance- I found Floors…read moreDirect to be the most cost effective and they reported that they could complete the work within the desired time frame. I contacted a representative from Floors Direct in June 2013 and explained the work that I wished to have done. They asked me the date that I wanted to have the work completed by and the salesman explained that they could do it on the date desired- a month from when payment was made. The salesman explained that it would take 3-4 days and maybe an extra day- to complete the work of tiling 3 rooms and hallways. I scheduled my life according to the promises made by the company of when the work would be complete. I ensured that I came back from a family reunion early and ensured that I took vacation time from my employer to be home for the workers. To help make sure that the company is able to complete the work within the timeframe I completed all of the pre-work. I ripped up all of the linoleum, carpets, and baseboards and moved all of the furniture out of the bedrooms, with the exception of a couch that could not fit through the doorframe of a bedroom. I moved the washer, dryer, stove and refrigerator onto my patio for the duration of the time it took for the job to be completed. The first point of dissatisfaction came from the length of time that the job has taken. The work on August 24th and during the 3 1/2 weeks of work I continued to have to live without my stove, washer, dryer, refrigerator, and my furniture- which was stuffed into the two bedrooms. Beyond the inconvenience that living like this has caused - no clean clothes, no ability to have perishable groceries, and unable to cook food- I have had to leave the workers alone in my home or provided them with a key as I had to return to work. My work days are strenuous and am gone for 12 hours a day- which left me no choice but to leave them alone to complete the work and hope that they did it to the standard that was promised and your agencies reputation states. Due to me living in a condominium, I have a Housing Association that I have to abide by and they required that I put in a sound barrier and I ordered the peel and stick, from the salesman- Kevin Brooks. When I went to install the sound barrier, I noticed that it was not the peel and stick version, and it was instead the underlay that needed to be applied with thin set. Mr. Brooks stated that his guys could put the barrier down without a problem. The tile installers made it clear that they were unhappy about having to lay it and they took days to do so- and the job was rushed and shoddy. There were gaps in between each section and the change in the sound barrier cost me a couple hundred dollars more. The installer didn't take the cost of the product into consideration and instead of trying to use up the scraps he cut previously, he continued to cut into the roll and after I told him how much the product cost me- he (Larry) informed me that it should have only been $180 a roll, instead of $369 a roll. The first day the workers did not come to start work until 12pm and left at 445pm. After their work day- they had not completed even half of the sound barrier. The second day the worker stated that they would be there at 9am and the one worker didn't get there until 1030am and left at 1pm. The worker appeared young and inexperienced and it took him 3 days to get 95% of the sound barrier down and he didn't finish. The workers came a 5th and 6th day and did not finish, and stated that they would be back on Monday, which would be day 7. This pattern continued for 3 weeks. I want to be clear that I don't have any issue with the workers that came out. They were nice and appropriate- but there was constantly an uneasy feeling that I had while leaving them in my home and completing the work with no supervision from me- for full days. After the 3 1/2 weeks of work, the result was the following: * I asked specifically for the smallest grout line and that is not what I received, as the grout lines are uneven. * There were large gaps by the wall, as the spaces weren't filled in. * The grout is discolored. It was supposed to be chocolate colored and it is light brown in several areas. * There are white marks on almost all of the tiles, which would come off after me scrubbing them. After the job was complete I realized that my garbage disposal was leaking and after spending $100 for the new disposal and $200 to install it- I found that it was full of grout that was emptied into my sink from the workers. I feel as though I was promised a professional look and I did not get that. I feel that the work that I saved up to have completed was rushed and completed in a timeframe that is unacceptable.I feel as though I was promised a professional look and I did not get that.

A denial letter is forthcoming. " - FrankCrum General Agency 07/23/2025. Not because they weren't responsible for the installation, but because they are not insured for negligent workmanship. To directly address their continued claim they were misled and a rogue employee performed the install, we have on camera Ricardo Naldi (the registered owner) coming to my home to bid the job, and then himself and three other employees on the following days coming in RNALDI branded T-shirts and in an RNALDI labeled vehicle to perform the install. No one was misled; RNALDI had every opportunity to inspect the site and perform an assessment of the materials to be installed. They sold us the glue and the vapor barrier as evidence by the checks they endorsed and cashed. The result of the work speaks for itself. We relied on their alleged expertise and professionalism, as well as their assurance that their work was insured. I am not sure why either Ulysses or Ricardo continue to state here misleading information or deny responsibility for the work they themselves performed. We will now pursue other options in order to remedy this situation.
