They also offered to start the root canal in-house if I was unable to get an appointment scheduled at the endodontist anytime soon. I appreciate the follow-up and have updated the number of stars. ------------------------------------------------ Two years ago, I would have given this place 5 stars. Today, I'm giving it 1 because they have more patients than they can handle. I went in on 7/9/2018 for a cleaning and because I had a pretty bad cavity. The dentist worked on my tooth and at the end of my appointment, told me it was pretty deep so that there is still a chance it could need a root canal. He specifically told me that if I felt pain in that tooth or it became sensitive to give them a call so that I could get the root canal scheduled. Today, 7/23/2018, I called because since leaving the dentist on 7/9/2018, my tooth has been sensitive. The pain has been getting worse, so I called to find out how much it would cost to get the root canal. The lady that answered said they don't normally call insurance to find out the coverage information until the day before the appointment and that is when they would tell me how much it would cost. Well, I'm not going to schedule an appointment to get work done until I know I can afford it. She ended up looking at my chart to see if they had the estimate listed from my previous appointment, and thankfully they did since they obviously weren't going to go out of their way to find out. After finally getting an estimate, I asked to schedule an appointment to get the root canal done. After waiting on hold, the lady said that she can't schedule me for a root canal because my chart stated that I didn't need one on that tooth. I explained to her AGAIN that the dentist told me just 2 weeks ago that there was a possibility of needing one and that if it started to hurt, that was a sign it needed a root canal and to call to get it scheduled. She said the best she could do is schedule to get my crown put on and during that appointment I could tell the dentist about the pain/sensitivity and he could look at it during that time and determine what needed to be done. I asked her, "So, you're telling me I have to come in to get my crown put on, but tell the dentist I don't actually want my crown put on because of the pain I am experiencing in my tooth. Then have him look at my tooth a 2nd time just to schedule another appointment for a root canal that he already told me I could possibly need?" - She said yes, that I might not even be able to get my root canal done that day and that it would depend on how busy they were! Frustrated, I told her to just schedule me for the next available appointment since I was in pain. The next appointment isn't until 8/2/2018!! So now I am in pain, have to wait 10 days to get in to see the dentist, and on top of that there's a good chance I won't even be able to get the pain taken care of that day and will have to schedule a separate appointment to get my root canal done once the dentist confirms that I need one, even though he already said there was a chance of needing one. I am beyond disappointed in how this place has changed in the past couple years. Once I get my tooth squared away here, my husband and I will be finding a new dentist office.

Each time, the staff was friendly and very patient with her. They talked to her, got her mind off the instruments, and were very calm and accommodating when she did loose her cool. Aside from my own child, I saw great treatment and care being given to the other children in the office that day. They staff took extra time out of their procedures to explain the motions to the patient and gain their confidence. The office is clean and all of the staff is friendly and helpful! Unfortunately, I will no longer be returning due to repeated issues with the front office recently, specifically with Juanita. During my last visit, I paid out of pocket because the front desk staff couldn't verify my insurance. Later, my insurance did cover the visit, and I had to obtain reimbursement on my own. When my daughter needed treatment, Juanita scheduled it a month out, saying it was because of my "insurance" despite the pain my daughter was in. Over time, my interactions with Juanita have consistently been unpleasant. She is often rude, dismissive, and lacks empathy. At our last visit, she greeted us with a smirk, did not acknowledge us properly, and seemed to recognize us only because of the prior insurance issue. She even made comments about how difficult my insurance was to work with and implied it was somehow my fault. The last conversation I had with her was particularly unprofessional -- she was confrontational, and I had to ask her multiple times to watch her tone. After years of trusting this clinic, it's very disappointing that the actions of one front office staff member have driven us to find care elsewhere. I truly hope management- Paula addresses this behavior so that other families don't experience the same disrespect.

Dr. Lepard removed my wisdom teeth which have been bothering me for years. The procedure it self involved very little pain, due to the sedation I was given. My recovery was super easy, and his staff explained everything to me, so I had no issues. His staff is top notch, always kind and understanding. His rates are very reasonable. Today I went in because I have an out of control cold sore, and my lip is so swollen, you would think I got into a barroom brawl. Upon the suggestion of his staff I came in to receive laser treatment. I was told that because my cold sore was so severe the laser would help keep it from spreading and could help with the swelling, but not to expect a miracle cure. Well, maybe it's not a miracle cure, but after just a couple of hours I can feel is a huge difference in the swelling, and discomfort. *Tip: I was told that the second I feel a cold sore coming on to call them for the therapy and it can actually stop it from blistering. So if you are in the area, and need a really good dentist, this is the place for you. There is no order taking or neglectful over booking. Dr. Lepard and his staff take their time and really listen to your concerns and try to help you.
