The finance person they have isn't friendly either when she barely knew what she explaining to me, just assuming, based on limited knowledge. Read the fine print in what you sign there. They discuss with you one thing in appointment room and often times you sign another and they'll go back and forth with you about what you agreed to and 'discussed' like it's a battle who's right or wrong. I told them I was no longer wanting to be a patient and requested my X-rays then the whole mood really changed. Dr Shatto is completely unprofessional and today it really showed the dynamic in their office and what I expected. He came into the room for my fillings, asked why I wanted to leave being a patient, I stated personal reasons, and he stated he would not be able to do my fillings. They gossip about patients sometimes thinking the patient can't hear, this dentist office usually have a totally different moral but now I am glad todays appointment went the way it did and I dodged a bullet. Dr Shatto also recommended Invisalign a costly penny for me which I am not ideal candidate for but still just wanted to make profit on a more severe case. Even after telling me he didn't want to do my fillings, he continued on to discuss my wisdom tooth. Mind you, my wisdom tooth he attempted to take out a couple years ago, he was only able to take out partial which left me in excruciating pain until he was able to take the rest out a week and a half later. Beware. Save the headache and customer service experience, let me be an example.

Since it is under a crown ($$) I was concerned about the tooth and how much it would be. They took an image of the tooth and then another to make sure and he found no reason to be concerned at this time. He suggested I do a fluoride paste for the sensitivity and I was out the door for $35 for the paste. Thank you Family Smiles....I came away smiling. I was so grateful for his caring treatment and his honesty. I was anticipating replacing the crown and would have agreed to do so. This is about my fourth time to be in the office and I come away grateful for their concern and care each time. I really like the Dr and his staff and will be back for my checkup which was already scheduled for the summer.

They charged me for something else entirely. They have a policy in which they will charge you full price upfront for services and the insurance would reimburse you. This should have been my first clue, that something fishy was going on. Long story short they charged me and arm and a leg for something they DID NOT DO and something they knew my insurance won't cover. Please avoid this place unless you don't mind paying hundreds of dollars for routine cleanings.

The staff here are obviously experts at working with young children. Our exam room, not just the waiting room, had lots of toys for him to play with while we waited (see photo) and he got to sit in my lap during the exam which helped him feel more comfortable. The staff was so calm and patient with him and they were so kid-friendly. I was shocked, but he let them clean and check his teeth! After his exam, Dr. Marr even sat and talked with me for at least 20-30 minutes. She answered all my questions, gave great advice, and was really supportive. The facility is very clean and updated and super kid-friendly. I am so happy we found them!

I give them 4 stars instead of 5 because the wait was long--we waited 20 minutes after out appointment time--and then again we waited at the end for the dentist. Overall, we were there an hour although the actual cleaning took about 10 minutes and the dentist check out another 10 minutes. Other than the wait, the people are great and the little one likes going there. it is very kid friendly and makes them feel comfortable.
