Dr. Hofmeister did my cataract consultation and was very thorough in explaining to me. She took the time to answer all my questions and I had a lot. I never flt rushed or pressured in any way. No push to upsell an IOL. I was really scared of the surgery and she assured me they could take care of that. I asked Dr.Saini what he would recommend if it were his eyes and went with that. I knew I had astigmatism enough to warrant a toric lens. I saw him briefly at my second eye surgery and was able to thank him for giving me back my sight. I had never been able to see the big E on the eye chart and have worn coke bottle lens glasses since I was in the second grade. Now I have 20/25 vision. I'm amazed that another human being could--before lunchtime--do this for me and a dozen other people and it's all in a day's work. Renee was able to reschedule me earlier for my second surgery which I greatly appreciated. Anytime I called with a question the call was returned promptly. My post op follow ups were with Dr. Baha. She assured me all was healing well. She later did a refraction for me. I was able to order glasses on site. I really don't use them much but it's nice to have them if I want a bit of extra crispness to my vision. The convenience of this location was an added bonus. There is plenty of free parking. The staff is horrible!! The day before my mother and I were supposed to be there they canceled on us. When my mom was being examined they didn't close the door exposing all of her conversations to people who was just walking by. Be careful of this place. read more

Dr Hofmeister was rad. I was supposed to have cataract surgery and went in for my pre op 5 days before only to be told they had to move my surgery because I didn't have my contact out for a week before they did my measurements. Which if I had known, I would've gladly done. This front office and the scheduling lady is a joke. read more

I really like Dr. Louie - she has helped me over the years to get the best glasses and even recommended cataract surgery, which was great.

I've been seeing Dr Saini for many years now and am so happy I found him. He recently did both my eyes for cataract surgery. He is kind compassionate and knowledgeable. He listens and actually hears and addresses your concerns. So glad he did my eyes. I see so well now! His staff is as equally awesome. From Pricilla who always greats you with her sweet smile, and Janelle a sweet "hello" to Renee in scheduling who is always patient. Dr. Arvind Saini at Integrity Eye in Escondido came highly recommended to me by others who are or have been his patients. I can say that I was not disappointed my decision to have him be my cataract surgeon. He is a brilliant, very knowledgeable, and skilled Ophthalmologist and surgeon. He implanted the two new lenses in a way that is remarkable, and I am very pleased. He and his entire staff have taken excellent care of me during and after my two cataract surgeries. They used to have an office on Citricado Pkwy by PMC. Dr Saini made a very wise decision to pack up and move to S Escondido Blvd. This man is brilliant. He and his staff took great care of me when checking my cataracts. And it doesn't hurt, that he is very attractive. . Thank you Integrity Eye for your service. Dr. Saini from Hidden Valley Eye Associates has been my eye doctor for 3 or 4 years now and has always been incredibly helpful. He is not only extremely intelligent and competent, it is obvious he cares about his patients' overall well-being too. I had extreme eye discomfort when I first saw him, and he was the only eye doctor who I was able to see on short notice, so I traveled 90 minutes to see him. He quickly diagnosed me with iritis (inflammation of the iris) and helped to fix the issue. Afterwards, I determined it was worthwhile to continue to commute to him for all of my eye needs and he has never disappointed. I highly recommend Dr. Saini and Hidden Valley Eye to anyone looking for an Ophthalmologist. read more

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Grasso and I'm so happy I left my old eye doctor. Dr. Grasso prescribed me a different brand of contacts than I had been using for the past 10 years (they caused me a lot of discomfort) and turns out, my old eye doctor should have stopped prescribing my old lenses years ago! Dr. Grasso genuinely might have saved my eyes, and at the very least I'm much more comfortable now. I picked out new glasses frames and Laurie was so much help. She helped me find the exact style I was looking for and I'm so grateful she took the extra time to help! read more

Dr. Mulder was my ophthalmologist at this facility. I had been going to her for many years and I was quite satisfied with the care she provided me. Unfortunately, she had to leave and I was assigned to Dr. Saini. I was not impressed with this doctor. He had me waiting for almost an hour and when he came in, he did not ask for any history on my condition, what medications I was taking, he seemed very disinterested. He wanted me to come back in six months...I think I am going to look for another ophthalmologist. read more

My issue with Dr. Arvind Saini is that he claims he has performed 15,000 eye surgeries. He has been practicing for 16 years and is 43. If that figure is correct he would have done 938 surgeries each year! Currently he claims he's completes 7 surgeries each week. After I left the office after my first appointment, I decided I would not proceed with cataract surgery because I didn't trust him. My first visit started at 8:30 am a requirement to arrive 30 minutes early before my 9:00 am appointment. I was there until 12:30 pm. Finally about 9:30, I was taken to a room for the assistant to ask me questions. Most of what she typed into the computer was wrong. I asked the doctor to correct it. You see, I had time to read it since I was left alone for such a long time. It was about 11 am when I finally saw Dr. Saini who almost left immediately to handle a problem with a patient coughing near by. Apparently my look stopped him. He was upset when he realized his assistant hadn't taken photographs of my retina but by failing to do caused another delay with the doctor forcing me to wait again for him to return. We finally discussed my current eye condition and about the possibility of cataract surgery in the future. I was not committed to surgery as I was more concerned about the eye condition healing first. For the second visit, an office gal called to tell me an hour and 20 minutes wasn't enough time because I needed eye drops to check my cataracts that was done on the first visit! I informed the office the appointment was ONLY a follow-up for my current eye condition not for cataracts. I needed to leave after an hour and 20 minutes for another medical appointment. When I called to cancel the appointment the office gal stated they would not do the eye drops so I could keep the appointment. This apparently upset the office staff and Dr. Saini as all were very chilly toward me during the appointment with him stating he would not do cataract surgery. I almost laughed as he didn't ask if it was still a consideration for me to tell him it was not. Additionally, the office staff was unpleasant never following through with what they promised to do such as mailing a new patient form before my appointment (took nine days arriving two days after my appointment!), a letter to my optometrist and a copy to me but neither one happened either. I was told they were too busy and that my optometrist was not listed! I would not recommend this doctor because the waiting time and his claim of 15,000 surgeries is unrealistic plus the staff does not care how they treat new patients. read more

I have been going to Doctor Grasso for many years and my experience has always been a 10. She is very professional, knowledgeable and kind. Her staff is fabulous! Jennifer has been the one to always help and she is fantastic in every way! I also saw doctor Mulder before she retired and she saw me through cataract surgeries and etc. She was the best there is in her field!! I was impressed yesterday when Doctor Saini, who is replacing her, called me after hours to discuss a situation with my eyes and give me some suggestions! I had the best experience with Dr. Gina Grasso for my annual exam! I am so glad that I found her and don't have to visit my previous doctor again who was hard sell on prescription lenses that I didn't need and special tests that my insurance didn't cover. Dr. Grasso and staff are very personable and low key; no hard sales! I left feeling good about my eye care experience and will recommend that my family and friends take their eye care needs to Hidden Valley Eye Associates (there are also several specialists on staff)! read more

First visit to this clinic. Made the appointment a few weeks ago for 2:30 pm, was there early and by 3:30 still hadn't seen the doctor. I had another appointment across town for 4:00 so left without getting my eyes examined. I understand doctors get behind but this was ridiculous. Won't return. read more
