He listened to my questions, gave me some choices, and then did a great job. Jerry came over toward the end of last year and was just as helpful, professional, and easy with which to work. I was a bit apprehensive about calling an electrician but I knew Jerry personally to be a great guy, so I gave him a call when I needed some fixtures replaced. What a professional team! Nick Marshall came out to our home and installed two fixtures before Thanksgiving and did a great job. Needing to have another fixture replaced in December, I called back - and although there was nearly a week wait (they're busy for a reason), it was worth the wait! The fixture ended up needing some modifications to fit into the small space above our front door and Nick made the necessary adjustments. We also had Nick replace the cans in our kitchen (from black to white - on Jerry's recommendation) and what a difference in the light! Nick also recommended LED lights and helped me to locate them at the best price. I cannot say enough good things about Integrity Electric - everyone I've spoken with and met has been extremely friendly,helpful and trustworthy. We are big fans of Integrity Electric and their electrician, Shaun! We hired Shaun to install pendant lighting in our kitchen and install five new outlets for a media center. It wasn't a straight forward job: our kitchen project required a creative approach to make up for a number of issues with running the wire. He provided excellence service, was very knowledgeable and solved the elusive problem in short time (a couple bad light switches). These guys are great. I live in San Diego and own a home in Corte Madera. My tenant started having problems with circuits tripping Thursday, I tried my handyman Friday, she was ready to move to a hotel by Monday, but Lee came out and fixed the problem with one visit. It is tough being a long-distance landlord, but Lee talked me through his assessment from the house, had all the parts he needed on hand and even helped calm my tenant, giving her a rundown of the system, advice on preventing circuit overloads and saved me from having to pay for a hotel stay. The house is over 100 years old, he could have told me anything and I would have been obligated to foot the bill, but he managed to solve the issues and keep the costs under control. Jerry, the owner, came out to do the quote himself which ended up being one of the more reasonably priced quotes that I received out of 6 different quotes. His communication was prompt, courteous, and detailed. His reasonable price was backed by very high ratings on both Yelp and Diamond Certified. In terms of work quality, they sent out 2 people for the first visit and they were tremendously efficient combined with a great attitude. We found their attention to detail very high and they did everything they said they were going to do from their initial proposal and stood by their price even when confronted by some unforeseen challenges. Great people on this team that are very personal and down to earth. They installed a 250lb. Chandelier in our 18ft. High entryway and it came to 1700. A little more expensive than I planned on, and quite a bit more than the experience of others told me is "typical" for an installation of this nature but at the end of the day when you are installing something like this at that height in an earthquake zone I am not trying to be cheap. I found Integrity Electric via a referral from my Realtors, Kathleen Hilken and Lynn Grey of Frank Howard Allen (yes, they are awesome too!). I was selling my house in San Rafael (we closed on 10/31 - yay!) and needed to have several things brought up to code. They added a vent fan in a bathroom, switched out incandescent can lights in the kitchen for LEDs, added a couple of dedicated circuits, and...well, you get the idea. One of the owners (Jerry Thompson) did the estimate and a 2-person crew came to do the work. They arrived on time, were fast and tidy and the fees seemed quite fair compared to trades companies I've used previously for other remodeling work.
