Charlie was pressuring us into buying a new unit...we said no, just do what you need to get it working today. The repairs would cost about $4000. I felt like he was more of a salesman than a repair man. We told him not to do any repairs and leave. We then called a small locally owned company to ask for a second opinion. There was no leak, it did not need refrigerant, and was a quick and easy fix. The inside was full of grass clippings, causing the unit to shut-down as a safety feature. All it needed was to be cleaned, and it did not cost anywhere near $4000.
