I am very glad i called these guys. I tried replacing some switches and outlets in my house and ran into some trouble. After i replaced the outlets, some did not work. Same with the switches. I spent most of the weekend trying to figure out what i did wrong. Unfortunately, electricity is not my thing and after i got zapped a couple times i decided to call in a pro. These guys sent a very a friendly technician and was able to solve my problems very fast and efficiently. It made me mad that i wasted my whole weekend! I should have just called them in the first place. i learned that when dealing with electricity sometimes youtube videos just doesnt cut it! I had a an outlet where the wires were touching inside the box and causing the breaker to blow. How he was able to find which outlet it was so fast, im not sure. There were also a couple of loose connections in the switch that they figured out in no time. all in all it was a very good experience and i will certainly be calling them again for future projects. I was selling my house and it was in serious need of some updates. We got our inspection report back saying i needed a new electrical panel. I called Bickimer Electric after reading their reviews. They did not disappoint. They were able to get me an estimate fast. They were very good at explaining the whole process to me. They helped me understand how long it was going to take and how long my power was going to be out. I basically had to get a new panel and a new meter because it was so outdated and not up to code. They scheduled everything with the city and kcpl. I just had to let them in the door! They sent two technicians who were very very nice and professional. I needed a dedicated plug in a crawl space, on a 94 degree day. Mark and Zachery came out and assessed the situation, which was not an easy one to work on. The old house had a slab, as well as two separate, unconnected crawl spaces. It took a little doing and a second trip to Home Depot for supplies, but eventually, we had a fully functional dedicated circuit and are ready for the sump pump installers later this week. It was definitely a MONDAY, and anything that went wrong did, but Mark was unflappable and unwilling to give up. They both worked like dogs on an unbearably hot and sticky day, in an attic and in a crawl space. I highly recommend them for your next electrical issue or project. read more

Had a stove 'fail'. Called an appliance repair service. They diagnosed a bad control unit which was unavailable. I called Bickimer to get a wall socket installed (required by the stove installers). The guys at Bickimer saved me $1,500 by finding a defective breaker. They installed the wall plug and a new cable for the stove. WORKS NOW! THANKS GUYS! They were able to install ceiling fans in rooms that were not wired to do so. they ran new electrical wires to where i wanted the fans and then hung the fans. they did this in 2 of my bedrooms. i have used this company in the past and will continue to do so read more
