I am very glad i called these guys. I tried replacing some switches and outlets in my house and ran into some trouble. After i replaced the outlets, some did not work. Same with the switches. I spent most of the weekend trying to figure out what i did wrong. Unfortunately, electricity is not my thing and after i got zapped a couple times i decided to call in a pro. These guys sent a very a friendly technician and was able to solve my problems very fast and efficiently. It made me mad that i wasted my whole weekend! I should have just called them in the first place. i learned that when dealing with electricity sometimes youtube videos just doesnt cut it! I had a an outlet where the wires were touching inside the box and causing the breaker to blow. How he was able to find which outlet it was so fast, im not sure. There were also a couple of loose connections in the switch that they figured out in no time. all in all it was a very good experience and i will certainly be calling them again for future projects. Electricity is a pain. Literally!! read more

Used a company that sub-contracted the work to Bickimer for installing an EV charging station. Even though they were subcontracted, the cost was almost 30% lower than a qualified, highly rated, local electrical business I had searched for myself. They arrived and made the installation quickly. Took care of getting the permit and arranging for the subsequent inspection. Initially, like the electrician I had picked, the plan was to route the power from the breaker box, outside and, via a conduit, run it to the attached garage. Upon arriving, they cleverly found a way to route it through the ceiling and straight over to the garage. They also adjusted the receipt, invoice, two additional times to meet the local utility rebate by adding information the utility was not specific about in the instructions. I was pleased with the results and, 2 months later, still looks and works great! read more

I was selling my house and it was in serious need of some updates. We got our inspection report back saying i needed a new electrical panel. I called Bickimer Electric after reading their reviews. They did not disappoint. They were able to get me an estimate fast. They were very good at explaining the whole process to me. They helped me understand how long it was going to take and how long my power was going to be out. I basically had to get a new panel and a new meter because it was so outdated and not up to code. They scheduled everything with the city and kcpl. I just had to let them in the door! They sent two technicians who were very very nice and professional. They were able to get everything done for me in one day. Everything went smoothly with no hiccups! I was SHOCKED with how well it went. I will definately be using them in the future! read more

I needed a dedicated plug in a crawl space, on a 94 degree day. Mark and Zachery came out and assessed the situation, which was not an easy one to work on. The old house had a slab, as well as two separate, unconnected crawl spaces. It took a little doing and a second trip to Home Depot for supplies, but eventually, we had a fully functional dedicated circuit and are ready for the sump pump installers later this week. It was definitely a MONDAY, and anything that went wrong did, but Mark was unflappable and unwilling to give up. They both worked like dogs on an unbearably hot and sticky day, in an attic and in a crawl space. I highly recommend them for your next electrical issue or project. read more

Trying to decide which company to hire to do electrical upgrades (inside and out) at my home, was really stressing me out. When Mike Bickimer called me, after we connected on Yelp, I hired Bickimer Electric that day. From that first phone call until the end of the job Mike kept me up-to-date, he returned my phone calls and texts promptly, and answered all of my questions. Everyone that came to my house from Bickimer Electric; Mike, Mark, William and Jeremy were all professional, knowledgeable, polite and friendly. I will definitely call them if I need any electrical work done in the future, and I highly recommend Bickimer Electric. read more

Bickimer Electric is wonderful! We've used them several times now, and I'm always extremely happy with their service. Jon helped get us scheduled, and was very understanding when we had to reschedule... and then reschedule again based on our timeline getting delayed. He was not only patient but responsive to our needs. Gary was our technician and I just can't say enough nice things about him. He is knowledgable, professional, and just a super nice guy. We've never been disappointed by anyone at Bickimer, and their prices are incredibly reasonable. Bickimer is our go-to for any electrical needs. read more

Love these guys, and especially how they stand behind their work! We had a tricky issue that the first guy made a really thorough, game effort to fix ... but Murphy's law struck, and the problem didn't reveal itself while he was here -- only to rear again the next day. So, the owner, Mike, came out personally to investigate further, found the issue and didn't charge any extra for his time. As a business owner myself, I know the strength of character it takes to do that sort of thing and it speaks very well to who they are as a business. HIGHLY recommended. read more

Bickimer is my new favorite team for all things Electric. Bickimer responded to my call quickly. Danny & Spencer arrived on time, were professional, easy to work with, answered my questions, and their pricing was reasonable and competitive. They quickly diagnosed & fixed a wiring issue in an old fixture, and went above and beyond, replacing the fixture with one I had previously purchased. They even worked in a whole house Safety Inspection for my 1950's ranch, after I approved the quote. I would definitely call them again. read more

I am a mom of two small children who's husbands deployed overseas. When the Bickimer Team showed up I felt incredibly comfortable. They showed up promptly even though it was not their normal regular business hours. They even ended up saving me more money than I thought. I was very pleased with their services. Plus our laundry smelled much better. I was sad they moved out of Florida. read more

Awesome! Awesome company. I am a super busy mom who sometimes forgets appointments. I got a text when i scheduled my appointment, an email the night before reminding me of my appointment, and a text when they were on the way.
