These days "integrity" is over-used and abused. Not so with these guys, they said what they were going to do, then did what they said. They are getting very busy and the weather didn't cooperate to get us started, but once they did they were all over our major job that included both house and detatched garage. The house has a complex roof. The garage has a 45 deg. pitch. They are precise, shingle lines as straight as a laser beam, corners and flashing tight and neat. And it's a pleasure to watch Tom interact with the crew. Never a discouraging word, he's still there to make sure everybody is careful and small errors are corrected before they grow. They controlled their debris and cleaned up well (and their language is also clean, friendly, polite and respectful). Costs were in line with others but when the work is done right, you are getting a GREAT deal. Their reputation on the peninsula is building up. You won't find a business here in Long Beach that has more integrity then the business called Integrity. Not only is Tom a great worker, the whole family works together to get the job done! And I admire him as a boss as well. I listened to him as he worked and never an unkind word was spoken. That is as important to me as the work that is completed. And completed it was, swiftly, and tidied up afterwards. I must add why we had Tom and his crew out to the property. A raccoon had tried to make a nest in the roof of our vacation home in Ocean Park. I called the business and his wife sent him to the place the same day, recognizing our emergency. After a patch job, to avoid the downpour predicted for the next day, materials were ordered for a complete roof replacement and the work was done the day after. Unlike other companies I contacted, they visited the property right away and submitted a bid in a timely manner. The bid was clear, showing the scope of work and the labor and materials for each part. Their communication was good throughout the process. We exchanged emails that kept me updated on the schedule. They started work on the agreed day and worked efficiently to finish the job quickly. The work was professionally done and they went the extra mile to help resolve unforeseen conditions like sheathing and fascia that needed replacing. Integrity resided the first floor of my 20 year old home, It took a while to get on the schedule, but once they started, they stayed and completed the job, including additional non-trivial structural repairs found during the process. Tom was a pleasure to work with, and this is not something I typically say in regards to working with contractors. He is very knowledgeable of the particular issues we deal with on the coast, and was responsive to questions and concerns. Howdy, I was looking for a reasonable quote for a small roofing job on my mom's cottage here on the peninsula. I had contacted some of the 'bigger' names of roofers on the peninsula, and they wanted $3000+ for a job that was less than 200 sq feet. I contacted Integrity Construction and was given an estimate that was 1/2 the cost of the 'bigger' guys. Integrity showed up on time, secured the plants from any damage and did a great job. They even came back the next day after the roof was replaced to make sure everything had been cleaned up. I would not hesitate to use Integrity Construction for other jobs on our properties. We hadn't previously used Integrity Construction - after calling several other contractors that said they would show up and never did, we found Integrity. During the past storms on the Longbeach Pennisula this winter we literally had our gutter fall off the side of the house and break. Integrity was very responsive, communicative and very fair and reasonably priced. They even had the "Integrity" to inform us that some of our roofing had blown off and was in need of repair.
