I didn't catch the individuals name, but he fixed 2-4 problems that I didn't specifically call him to do. Hour and a half later my pluming woes are gone. Great service should be rewarded as well. read more

We had a significant leak in a pipe inside our bedroom wall in the middle of the night. The water was turned the water off and early Saturday morning we were able to contact Coastal Plumbing. Adrian arrived soon and spent several hours until he tracked down and repaired three leaks. A critter had found a way into our walls. We are super grateful for his help. read more

We have had problems with our disposal for a few months but we this time it would not reset. I called Coastal Maintenance and Plumbing and they scheduled me for the same day. The technician was quick, personable and thorough. The price was fair and we are very satisfied. read more

Tara in the office was quick to respond! Amazing customer service experience! Home Depot was helping me with calls due to the fact that I was working. My water heater died, no notice that we could tell. Around 30 calls later, -came- Tara to the rescue! (The office was closed when we started reaching out!) Tara was able to get to me, with a approximate time that someone would be out. Jeremy replaced our water heater, did a beautiful job! His work space was left immaculate! Just so appreciative! Would highly recommend them! Jackie Solgan read more

BEST experience with Coastal Maintenance and Plumbing! After a week of reaching out to various plumbing companies and contractors to help us connect a new line for our washer to no avail, I happened upon CMP working another job nearby. I spoke with Daniel who listened to my concerns and gave me his card. Immediately I called and connected with Liz who understood what I needed, got the permit taken care of and scheduled Daniel and his apprentice Adrian to come out! They consulted with us to discuss various options to land on the best long term option, not just the quickest fix. Daniel and Adrian were prompt, took great care of the problem and cleaned up the work area. I am so pleased with the service, professionalism, and efficiency of CMP and will be calling on them for all of our plumbing needs! read more

I can not say enough good things about this company! They are kind, professional, and very knowledgeable! I honestly do not know what I would do with out them! All I can say is thank you with all of my heart for taking such good care of myself and my family! read more

if I could give these folks zero stars I would as they are about the most unprofessional bunch of people we've ever had the misfortune of working with. What is it with companies who think they can not bother showing up at any of their appointment at the scheduled time, leaving the place an absolute mess after doing a major Plumbing remodel, destroying our property (holes in our ceiling of our downstairs bathroom that they have yet to fix and actually didn't bother showing up at the scheduled time when they said they would come by to fix it and try to make us wait an extra 5 hours for the owner to finally come by). Liz is probably the rudest human being you'll ever encounter and I would avoid them like the plague - it took her two weeks to get a quote for us and almost a month to respond to our basic questions about the quote which was horribly written and with no explanation as to where the charges were coming from. We had seen good reviews so we put this frustration aside and scheduled them in, and the first plumber came by and did not center the pipes as we had asked then actually try to blame us later for not telling him (yet at the same time said we shouldn't be standing there watching over their plumbers). Liz refused to provide an itemized invoice as any good contractor would for payment, and it took a whole lot to get Jerry out just to clean up the disaster that they left in our bathroom because the plumber had a problem with actually cleaning up after himself and even had the nerve to tell us that we should do it ourselves. They asked if we wanted them to cap the pipe or have it removed and we said they could just cap it but they didn't, and when Jerry came over to clean up the first plumber's mess (several bags worth of garbage), he still didn't seal the holes in the ceiling and when he said he would come by at 9 a.m. we had to call several times and get multiple excuses from Liz as to why he still hadn't shown up and by early afternoon we had enough as he had destroyed our plans for the day without bothering to pick up the phone himself and apologize. Both my husband and I found Liz to be condescending and rude, and Jerry playing ignorant about the whole thing even though we told him we had sent pictures of the mess that was created to them. after trying twice to have him come back and actually fix the holes in the ceiling and the cap in the vent, and talk about timing to finish the job (as we had shown him during his last visit that we had all of the fixtures waiting for them to install.. and mentioned multiple times about our tight timeline as we have a baby due in a month), they actually had the nerve to text us and say we can have someone else do the job. Jerry has also disregarded the things I have said and try to defer to my husband in a very sexist manner, and whenever I ask him to call me he ignores me and sends texts instead... Which for all I know is Liz because she has responded to emails sent to him instead of having him call us directly in the past. When we threatened to contact the BBB for them refusing to finish their contracted work, they try to accuse us of slander even though they are the ones who are refusing to do the work and clean up their mess. This is truly a disreputable company that could care less about treating customers fairly and professionally. Jerry is definitely not a man of his word and neither he nor Liz nor the creepy plumber they sent by for the first part of the job have any business working with the public. And they will not scare us out of reporting their lack of finishing the job to the BBB. read more

Replaced an older tankless water heater (about 13 years old) with a newer one and larger capacity. Passed inspection first time. Everything working great. Location: Cannon Beach. Thanks. read more

The old water heater turned into an energy hog and had to be replaced. I didn't know any plumbers, so turned to Yelp for a referral. I only found one plumber with a review, but thankfully, it was glowing. I called Christina at Coastal and she was very friendly and helpful. I didn't know of many places to shop for water heaters, but we agreed that George Morlan was a good option. I would buy it and they would pick it up for me and bring it to my house. She quoted me $60/hr for the work. All sounded good. The unsmiling man at George Morlan asked who was doing my install. He seemed unhappy with my choice and asked why I picked them. When I told him that I had read a really great review online, I could see what he was thinking, "crazy lady takes advice from strangers on the internet". My nonverbal reply was, "guy must not use Yelp.". I accepted 3 business cards from him for plumbers he liked. But, he told me they charged $80 to $85 per hour. He told me one could even do my install that day. I began to question myself. I finally decided I was in danger of over-thinking this project and called Christina back to get on the schedule. Gerardo and James arrived promptly with my water heater on the truck. They removed my old water heater, and hauled it away. The new install was done quickly and efficiently. They charge me for one hour ($60) for the entire project. I am a happy customer. They now have 2 glowing reviews for those of you that take the advice of strangers. read more

Picture this. Spring Break weekend in a coastal town. No room at the inn. Major sewer line breakdown, meaning no flushes, showers, laundry, etc. And on a sunny Saturday, no less. Called our plumber of 17 years, and got voicemail full on the cell and no answer at the office. Called the others listed in the Astoria, Oregon, area, to much the same success. In fact, the most promising one had you got through a labyrinth of automation that left you less than secure you were communicating the urgency. Then we tried Coastal Plumbing. The call was answered immediately by a bright, smiling voice, who said they had plumbers working and she would call us back with an ETA, but it they could likely be there that day! And she did. And they showed up, a little more than an hour later, but moved quickly to scope out the issues. I haven't seen that kind of energy in a plumber in 17 years. It took about an hour to solve, but on a rare sunny day in early spring in Astoria, we were heartened and grateful that they found the problem and corrected it. Their customer service on the phone and their attitude on the job was the bomb. read more

Excellent customer service and great quality always highly recommended ,affordable rate ,they don't cut conners they make sure the work is done right read more

I concur with AD L's review. Liz is rude. The employees are sexist and unprofessional. One even went behind my back (I am homeowner and my own general contractor) and called the building official to demand that my house plans be changed to include thousands of dollars of additional/unnecessary plumbing work. My permit files are replete with evidence. They "lost" 3 sets of my house plans which was unnecessarily costly. I paid cash for my work, but was never given a receipt. Later I was advised that I was being slandered throughout the building community as having not paid my sub contractors and firing every subcontractor as soon as they were hired! read more

We had an inefficient electric tankless water heater that just couldn't keep up with demand, so we decided to install a traditional water heater which required extensive plumbing work. CMP did an excellent job. They provided a reasonable bid and timeline for the work. Every aspect was accomplished with efficiency and professionalism. Connor was our plumber and he consulted with us on every major decision to ensure we would be happy with the final result. Complete satisfaction with Coastal Maintenance and Plumbing. read more

Quick response, prompt, efficent, reasonable price. Need I saw more. These folks are great.

Inconsiderate staff. Slow response. It's hard to deal with service companies that ultimately do not care about your problem. Do not recommend. read more

My home had cpvc pipe throughout, which meant that all of pipe in the house had to be replaced. They came out and repiped the whole house with pex in ONE DAY. I was told that at one time there were ten guys in the house. The workers were enthusiastic, worked well together and helped one another. They were justifiably proud of their work and proud of their company. read more

This company came out quickly when asked for a quote which was submitted to us within 24hrs. The quote was reasonable for the work and the best bid. We moved here about a year ago and have had to have a lot of plumbing work done. When our latest issue arose, I was determined not to pay the outrageous, padded (w/undetailed "travel time") rates of the regional plumber we'd been using. So, I looked specifically for a local Warrenton plumbing firm and found Coastal Maintenance and Plumbing. When I called, I spoke w/a very friendly woman who quoted a great rate, said they didn't charge travel time, and that they could probably come out that day even tho it wasn't an emergency. She then kept me updated all afternoon until the plumbers got here. The plumbers were friendly, conscious and considerate of coming into a clean house, found and fixed the problem promptly, and then explained what they did. We will definitely call Coastal Maintenance and Plumbing for any future plumbing problems. Their rates, knowledgeable work, and friendly service are the best! read more

Still the best around!! Great work, professional, honest, and fast. The only plumber that we will ever use. Support local!! (after meeting the owner's wife and beautiful baby girl, I am happy to know my money contributes to her future as well as her big brother) read more

hate to burst your bubble but they got popped lastweek for not using a license bonded and insured plumber? AGAIN,maybe why theyre cheaper then regular plumbers? that means if your water heater blows up leaks or does any damage to your house. guess what that means your up a creek, and theyre not liable. so would that really be worth saving 20 dollars? think about it.. it should be a red flag when theyre happens to be 1 (ONE) plumber cheaper then the rest.. theres a reason for that. food for thought Mike read more
