In fact, there were so many suspicious activities with our project that a real estate lawyer tells us that we have a very serious case for litigation. Something that we are possibly pursuing. There were so many activities that were suspicious and possibly illegal according to a lawyer in dealing with this company. One wall of of kitchen was completely framed out by about 2 inches unnecessarily impacting the whole kitchen layout. He covered it up by removing the trims on the cabinets next to walls so now those cabinets do not function the way Dura Supreme cabinets were designed to. Additionally, I lost valuable square footage in my kitchen. What was his gain for doing so? Additional work = additional fees. He did this where ever he could with our project. I figure the upcharge for things unnecessary was about 1/3 of our total project cost. But worst after finally finishing after one year from starting, we are left with things to pick up after because work was not done correctly in the first place. Steve Elliott Construction's skills are sub-par. He did not use licensed subs for anything, not even for electrical. The tiling work on the floor does not line up and looks like a do it yourself job. The only thing this company has is that their cabinet installer is good. So if you only need a cabinet installer, they worked closely with The Cabinet Center who might set you up with them. But if you need anything else done in your remodel, I caution you to check out his work and ask for references even though in your meetings with them, they may have sold you.

He is knowledgeable, and has a warm and caring attitude for your project to be completed with the vision you imagined. This did not digress during the entire project. Communication was great too. I knew who was going to show up at my house each morning. As a homeowner, there are always concerns, and they were explained in a clear and timely manner. Were mistakes made? Yes, and fortunately they were minor, but they took responsibility, no excuses. Once walls were taken down, yes surprises did occur. Todd explained thoroughly what the best options were to resolve the issue. TS Contraction's crew also takes the same approach. No matter what trade is working on your project, their aim is to do the job right, and are willing to explain the process to you. I recommend TS Construction 100%. They are trustworthy, talented, and get the job done right.

I called and left a message for Steve at Tri-Valley Construction, (TVC), regarding a defective…read more1/4-turn water supply line valve that needed to be replaced in our laundry room. This involved removing sheetrock, cutting pipes, installing new valves, then replacing the sheetrock, applying plaster and texture, and finally painting. This was way above my pay grade, so I reached out to Steve. Within minutes, he got back to me. He asked for photos and provided an estimate with a range, depending on the complexity of what they found. Steve sent his crew over just a few hours later to begin the project. Victor and Edgar arrived, and within minutes, the Sawzall was going to town on our wall. I'll admit, I had my reservations, but it quickly became clear that these guys knew what they were doing. Each phase required a return visit to allow the individual coats of plaster to dry, etc. Our water was only turned off for about an hour or so during the entire project, and the finished product was very good. We're now considering TVC for other projects. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

The time I was told was off by a week and the price was way over what was quoted. I also heard him say a horrible word about an African American he knew and laughed. besides the fact the work was shoddy, I also had a closet racist doing work in my home. Electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems were all upgraded as well. The quality workmanship and attention to detail that JLH Construction completed the work with is one that we thought was of a bygone era. True artisans who not only know their craft but love practicing it too! We considered several contractors for our project, some of whom presented a lower bid. Ultimately, we chose JLH Construction because of the craftsmanship and integrity they presented during the bidding process and we were never anything but thrilled with our choice. Throughout the construction process, the Owner, Justin Harbinson was not only on the job site every day, but a hands-on artisan as well. His wife Lisa was also incredibly helpful with the selection of finishes and design portion of the project.
