We love the new closet that John designed and installed for us! We were remodeling our bedroom and adding a master closet. When I called John, he was extremely professional and personable. He suggested that he come to our home to discuss what we were looking for and so that he could take measurements. I really appreciated his attitude and approach! The other two companies that I called wanted me to come to their showrooms, which were not that conveniently located for me. John came out and we discussed how we use our closet, available finishes, hardware, etc. and then he measured the area. We got detailed drawings and a bid within a week and thought the price was very reasonable. It was also great to receive the bid in such a timely fashion. We then gave John a deposit and he ordered the cabinets for us. The cabinets were ready to install earlier than he had told us, so we were super excited when he called to set an install date. Why we called John at Classic California Spaces: There is this funky alcove of nothingness in a corner of one of our rooms that is only appropriate for, maybe a burglar to hide in so we wanted to get that fixed ASAP. In addition to that, we had to maximize the space in a small walk-in closet. What happened: John came out to do the estimate on time. He was not pushy about what he had to offer and gave us many options. He was quick in sending us our contract with a reasonable price. He said he would have the work completed within 3-4 weeks and followed through in scheduling the install within that window. They were on time for the install. Where to start? John was great! Starting with the first phone call. I left a voicemail and John called back right away. We set up an appointment in the same week. During the appointment, he explained what would work great for our closet and gave us a bunch of great ideas And options before asking what we wanted. He answered all our questions. We had our closets installed this past June and I usually wait months before I review product and installation. I have nothing but praise for John and his team. He sent a quote over email on the date he promised to do so. I reviewed the designs and after accepting the estimates I received a contract with final designs and terms and conditions for the work. After signing the contract we just needed to wait for the material to arrive so he could schedule the installation. I mentioned to him that I was in need to finish the job as fast as possible since I was going to have family visiting for the holidays. He explained that the delivery of the material was out of his control but that he would contact me as soon as the material was ready. When the material arrived he scheduled an appointment to bring it up one day before the installation in order to accelerate the process. He also had the challenge that one of his key crew members was injured so he expected the job to be done in 2 days. Next day, he arrived to my place with another person and omg, this person was like a machine, super efficient and fast while assembling the closets. They both finished in just 1 day, which was perfect since my family was arriving on the next day. The payment was also like a breeze, I was able to use venmo and check.
