There were few places that we were contemplating to get our Master Bedroom closet done. We started with a quote from California Closet Spaces and did not even consider other choices. We greatly appreciated John's professionalism, service, and honesty in helping us create closet that maximizes the space usage while balance the needs of my husband/I. Also, when we had some concerns and issues after the closet was done, John was very prompt in providing replacement part without any concerns. Overall, I am very content with the design and craftsmanship of our closet and would recommend Classic California Spaces over any other company. Thanks John!

Like many others we recently had a great experience with John from Classic California Spaces. I interviewed 4 companies, including the Container Store, California Closets and ClosetFactory. John came to our home and made some great design suggestions. Working directly with the owner of the company, who is on site at installation, makes a big difference. I am particular and took a lot longer than expected to make my final choices. We have a 7.5' walk in master closet. John listened to my needs, did the best drawings and had the best price. No hard core sales approach, no selling what you don't need. John is very experienced and cares about his work, besides being a really nice, relaxed professional. I love my new closet! Thank you,John!

Looks like this will be another 5 star review to add to the many! Why we called John at Classic California Spaces: There is this funky alcove of nothingness in a corner of one of our rooms that is only appropriate for, maybe a burglar to hide in so we wanted to get that fixed ASAP. In addition to that, we had to maximize the space in a small walk-in closet. What happened: John came out to do the estimate on time. He was not pushy about what he had to offer and gave us many options. He was quick in sending us our contract with a reasonable price. He said he would have the work completed within 3-4 weeks and followed through in scheduling the install within that window. They were on time for the install. John and everyone on his crew was great and friendly. They worked efficiently and kept a clean work site!. What did we think: Wonderful work! The burglar alcove was transformed into a functional space and we have tons of new organizational space in the walk-in closet. We would hire them again and recommend them to others.

John and his team are fast, professional, and friendly. An absolute joy to work with throughout the entire process; from consultation, demolition, to installation. They really took care of us and we're loving our new closet system. John worked with us to design a system that is practical and within our budget. We had other consultations and they were really pushy, hard-selling or inflexible (i.e. these are the only options). They were punctual, showing up when they said they would and finished the job quickly. They also took extra time and care to keep things tidy and cleaned up all the work areas. I highly recommend John and his team to anyone who is interested in getting a custom closet system.

I've worked with John, the owner, twice now. He personally shows up to every quote and does the install himself. His company first install the closet systems in three of my bedrooms and the coat closet. A year later, I invited John and his team to work on my master bedroom closet. John is easy going, professional, and very knowledgeable. Even though my master closet had odd angles, John found ways to maximize the space use. He promptly provided free quotes and accurate elevation and perspective drawings. During the install, his team arrived on time, had all the materials, finished on the same day, and cleaned up thoroughly. They even wiped down the cabinets so I can put away my clothes immediately. I am very pleased with the overall quality, workmanship, and price. I would gladly work with John and Classic California Spaces again.

When all hell broke loose in our master closet, we called upon Classic California Spaces. John was such a pleasure to meet during our free consultation appointment. He was prompt, in and out with measurements and all the information he needed to design our space in less than 30min. His design was sent to us promptly and perfectly matched our needs. We were told turn around time was 3-4 weeks out, but fortunately the system was ready to be installed in less than 2 weeks. John and his team were amazing to work with and everything turned out perfectly. I would highly recommend John and his team for any of your space/organizational needs. Install time was about 4 hours, job completed, wood polished, and everything cleaned up. Professionalism at its best! Thanks again Classic California Spaces!!

I have always wanted a custom closet but it was one of those things I just kept pushing off. Finally I was motivated and called Classic CA Spaces based on my trusty yelp search and 5 stars is so very accurate to describe them ! John was a pleasure to work with from the initial consult to the design and install. He was able to incorporate all my requested details such as glass doors and handles to match the rest of my house. He was even able to expedite the process and complete everything from initial consult to install within 3 weeks time. I am so excited about my new closet -- I just want to hang out in there! ;)

    Amazing work John. It's beautiful.

The project scope included reengineering our old, stucco fireplace mantle and adding complementary wall paneling. The team also installed crown molding throughout our family room and kitchen spaces and new baseboard throughout our first floor. Using a single concept image that my wife and I had tucked away a while back, Brandon and his extremely talented carpentry specialist, Jesse, collaborated with us to adapt those design concepts to our family room and created a space with which we are extremely happy. We truly appreciated their frequent check-ins to align on design concept options for the finish work and their meticulous attention to detail throughout the project, which included the tireless efforts of painting specialist, Ted. We had long wanted this upgrade to our most frequently used space in our home and we are as happy with this project outcome as we were with the prior kitchen cabinet project. If you are looking for a creative and accomplished woodworking contractor to help bring your remodel visions to life, my wife and I strongly encourage you include Next Level Custom Woodworking in your bid list. We certainly will be using them again as we move to the next phase of our home remodel efforts in the coming months.

Did not get any competing quotes but based on the scope of this custom build and what I know about craftsmanship hourly rates I think the price was a good value. We will definitely be contacting Brandon for future projects!

After a quick Yelp search, we came across Elite Custom Cabinetry and Fidel was able to see what was already done and listened to what I wanted to do. He quickly understood what was needed, listened for any design input, even provided some options with regards to trim styles to be installed in between each bookcase. On the day of installation, just a few hours went by and the crown molding, various pieces of trim, and nearly perfectly matching baseboards were installed. Lots of little bits here and there were considered to truely give the appearance of a built-in library. The work was perfect, especially given where the starting line was. When the work was done, their clean up was so good, not a piece of dust was left behind. On top of everything, pricing was very reasonable. For the work that was done, the cost was very fair. I would not hesitate recommending this company to anyone looking to complete a bookshelf/library project. I am sure they do other types of work but as far as libraries go, nothing but fantastic work.

My wife set up the initial consultation, and Daniel Dugan met with us. He was super easy to talk to, genuinely into what he does, and came with a lot of thoughtful ideas. His background in construction really showed -- he wasn't just focused on aesthetics, but on making sure everything was practical and well thought out. He also did a great job working within our budget. At no point did we feel pressured to overspend, and he was flexible in helping us land on a design that made sense for us. After putting together the design, he invited us into the showroom so we could see and feel the materials in person, which made a big difference in finalizing everything. One of the coolest parts of the process was the VR walkthrough using Oculus headsets. Being able to "step into" the closet and get a feel for the bar heights and layout was honestly really helpful and gave us confidence in the final design. Daniel was patient the whole way through -- never pushy, always willing to answer questions. Installation was easy to schedule, and the crew was efficient, respectful, and completely self-sufficient. We did run into a couple of minor issues after installation, but Inspired Closets handled everything quickly and without any hassle, which says a lot about their customer service. Now that we've been using the closet for five months, we're really happy with how it turned out. It's made from MDF, feels solid, and had no odor at all, which we appreciated. Overall, highly recommend Inspired Closets, and especially Daniel. Great experience start to finish -- even months later, it holds up.

They all wanted to just paint them. I wanted them restored to the original finish if at all possible. We paid a lot for these custom cabinets 20yrs ago and really wanted them to be restored to look the same. Michael came out to look at them and told me he has never tried to do work like this before but he was willing to try and felt pretty confident he could do it. If we didn't like it we could always paint them after. It was a risk I decided I wanted to take. We could not wait any longer. 2 of our most used cabinets were severely damaged with water damage - one from a hand towel that had been hanging on it for 20 yrs that would often get damp from hand washing and the other our silverware drawer. They removed all of the damaged cabinet & drawer doors (leaving behind about half of them that had no damage as they were less often used and still looked brand new) and took them to their shop in Livermore. This made the job much harder as they then had to match the color to our existing ones. In addition our kitchen has 2 different paint colors so they had to create 2 different finishes - one a stain and one a paint. Linda, an employee of Michael was in charge of the painting and stain work and the artist who did the work on my cabinets in their factory. She showed us photos along the way and then came back out to reinstall the doors plus also repair the water damage we had on baseboards and cabinet sides that weren't able to be removed. She taped everything off in our kitchen to prep and then spent 2 days refinishing all of the rest of the damage. She was very careful and caused zero problems anywhere around her work. The finished product was absolutely 5 stars - could not have gone any better. I have delayed for way too long giving Michael and Linda credit for the work she did but the benefit to that is that I can now say after over a year (finished Sept 2024) of having the refinished cabinets in my kitchen they have held up perfectly and still all look absolutely brand new (helps not having kids living at home anymore!) I would 100% recommend you to trust Michael and his team to be honest, hard working and skilled crafts people for your cabinets. I was so impressed with him, his business, Linda, and all of their work. Thank you Michael & Linda!

I walked through Bay Area Cab's Dublin showroom a few times to confirm they have cabinet styles and colors I liked, and the employees were very accommodating in letting me check out cabinet door samples to see in my actual kitchen. I'm so glad I did that, because the color we originally wanted ended up looking dingy in our northern facing kitchen. We went with their Icy Avalanche color, which is a cool toned grey, and have never loved anything more! The design and estimate process was simple and likely less time consuming than even wading through the IKEA kitchen designer yourself. Chrissy was patient, professional and very knowledgeable and made sure every detail was handled to perfection. She even hopped on the phone with our contractor a couple times to make sure every measurement was exactly correct. But her excellent customer service really came into play after our cabinets were delivered and we discovered an issue--due to a slant in our kitchen floors that weren't accounted for in our original measurements, our crown molding wouldn't fit! She and her sister, who heads their other branch, redesigned and supplied a new molding quickly so that our remodel wouldn't be too behind schedule. And if that wasn't enough, when my contractor mis-installed a drawer, Chrissy replaced the broken pieces for me immediately. For just the customer service level alone, I'm so glad I went with Bay Area Cabs. There are already so many small things that can go wrong in a kitchen remodel, and I was so glad to have the cabinets be headache-free! Finally, the quality of the cabinets is amazing. We've been in our new kitchen for about 6 months now and are happy to report that all our cabinets, drawers, shelves and doors are working perfectly. We're so happy we chose Bay Area Cab Supply for our kitchen and hope this review helps more people find out about this awesome family-owned company!
