Dr. Hyre saved my life. Well, ok I may be exaggerating a little.... but seriously, if it weren't for Dr. Hyre, I would of felt like dying for the holidays. Short Holiday story... I wasn't paying attention, missed a step and fell down a few stairs. Good times. *not. I called about 5 different chiropractors in the area... and yeah...they were all closed for the holidays. I was in so much pain I couldn't hardly walk. My rib cage felt tight and I felt like puking. My head was about to explode from a migraine and I really thought I could die. I couldn't let that happen. I have to come back here to update and add further to my review of how incredible my care has been with Dr. Hankel. I started going to Dr. Hankel for 6 sessions before leaving for Army Basic Training. I came in with a knee injury from hiking, injured hips, and allergies. Dr. Hankel is so magical and so impressive that she literally fixed ALL of my issues. Just wait until you read this truly incredible list of ailments she alone cured for me with her chiropractic care: 1. I've been on allergy medication since I was a year old - and for the first time in 30 years I was able to stop taking allergy medication on a daily basis! 2. She fixed my digestive track! I had celiac that was triggered after getting sick overseas in Argentina, and I hadn't eaten gluten in nearly 3 years until getting cured by her. I actually didn't even know she fixed me until I had to eat gluten while at Basic Training; and suffered no issues at all from doing it. I also attribute her chiropractic care to what made the training so easy while not being on any supplements. 3. She aligned my hips and fixed my knees to also help me successfully complete basic training. 4. Finally me overall mental health well being has significantly improved after going to her - and I consider this a necessary form of self care at this point. I am so appreciative of Dr. Hankles work. Dr. Hyre's chiropractic care erased the pain of my old neck and back injuries and helped me find long term posture and work station changes to make that would keep the aches and pains from reoccurring. She does muscle testing but does not push supplements. If you ask for nutrition suggestions she will provide them. She also offers stretches and other exercise advice to help you build up your body. When I had a low back "flare up" she saw me on an emergency basis outside of her normal office hours to help be get back to normal as soon as possible. So I was raised an "unless it's dangling by a thread or you can see bone we don't go to the doctor" kind of guy. I work in the oilfield in an extremely physical job in some of the harshest weather conditions around as well as train CrossFit avidly. So after my back ( which had been nagging me for years) finally went out 5 days before I went to work I was devastated to say the least. My whole life and everything that's important to me requires me to be able to move efficiently. I couldn't do anything, just getting out of bed was extremely painful. I was sure I was gonna have to call my employer and tell them I couldn't go to work. Fortunately a friend literally made me pull my phone out and make an appointment with Dr. Hyre in front of her. Being raised the way I was I had never even given chiropractic care a thought. I ended up going for 3 adjustments in those 5 days and each time the pain decreased significantly. Not only did I make it to work on time but I worked over a month straight in -40/-50 below zero weather with my back constantly getting better.
