Came to the Vancouver for my husband's Kidney Transplant Operation ( we live in Los Angeles) and while he was in recovery I somehow strained a muscle in my back. The staff at Braumans are super nice, empathetic and accommodating! I was scheduled to come in immediately, and once there the receptionist took care of my out of state information with no hassles. Dr. Leigh Elling gently discovered that my main problem was a floating rib out of place. She also adjusted my upper back and neck. I walked out feeling so much better. I saw Dr. Elling for back pain. She told me to ice my back and come back in a few days, which I did...and the ice pack had helped some. When I went back for my second appointment she seemed agitated and rushed. She put me on the drop table without any instruction on what to do with my arms and pushed very hard on my back several times causing me to yell out in pain. Then she told me I needed an X-ray because she thought my spine was probably cancerous. I made an appointment with the exceptional receptionist/scheduler for the X-ray. When I returned for the X-ray Dr. Bauman told me they weren't going to take an X-ray and that I should go somewhere else and get some kind of blood test but he couldn't tell me what should be tested for. Except for the suggestion of using an ice pack, I feel that Dr. Elling was of no help, caused extreme pain, and sent me home for the weekend thinking I might have cancer of my spine. After having a CT Scan at the VA hospital, I find that I do not have cancer of of my spine. Dr. Elling acted irresponsibly and unprofessionally, and Dr. Bauman realized that and just wanted me out of the office. I can not recommend Bauman Chiropractic to anyone for anything but minor adjustments, and I can not recommend Dr. Elling for anything. read more

I am so pleased I found this chiropractic office! All of the chiropractors are so wonderful- nice, attentive and they truly know what they are doing. Dr. Elling is my favorite, I cannot recommend her enough! Wonderfully sweet front desk receptionist- I wish I knew her name because there are two, but this one is always smiling and so kind and genuine. She is the taller one with shorter hair. Go see them!
