Open sign, unlocked door, before mid day closing -- refused service because there was only 5 minutes before their lunch time. My normal chiropractor in Tumwater completes entire adjustments in approximately 5 minutes. Beyond disappointing after a stuck in the airport all day Mother's Day with a lot of other small constant hard moments through the day. Open sign and stated hours don't seem to apply to this business. I should note the business was dead silent with absolutely no other customers. If even one other customer was present, I would have complete understanding. read more

I went to the one on mill plain off 205 . They have charged my credit card twice last month I went 2 times n still had 7 left but come the 4th of this month those 7 visits left were gone n now after charging me this month I went to cancel thier service and stop them from ripping me off more . The receptionist had the you know what to ask me if I would like to keep going for 35 bucks a visit REALLY!!! This place is a scam 3 min and they ship you out the door thier drop table did nothing for me its like they wanted me to think they were doing things but after leaving thier office I went to another place by my house and they told me there's no way that I just got adjusted. I may look into some legal action im sure im not the only ones that figured out they were doing nothing. read more

I am always greeted ej I saw Dr Mitch yesterday. I so appreciate the relief I feel now after my adjustment. I'm not the easiest of patients to adjust since my muscles are very guarded, especially in my mid back area. I have received adjustments from quite a few chiropractors at different 'The Joint Chiropractic' locations. I ended up in the Joint (haha) because apparently I'm getting old and frail, and I can't hang a shower curtain without throwing out my back. Fast forward a few weeks of walking lopsided and crisscrossed here, there, and everywhere, and ta-da! We find ourselves in present day 2023, with me on a chiropractic bench in Hazel Dell. I was recommended to check this place by a former patient of theirs, and I went because I was and am in pain all the time (Kids-- don't grow up, it's a trap.). My partner and I walked into the office and were greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable care coordinator at the front desk. She had me fill out electronic paperwork and within, idk, 15 mins or so, I was in the back of the office, in a wide open space with several benches. I chatted with Dr. Maurice, he did a work up, and after about 15 mins, I got off the bench, standing ever so slightly more vertical. I like him, he seemed genuinely concerned about my broken body and came up with a care plan that I thought was quite reasonable. We bought into a 2-month minimum plan for $89/month, which would cover 4 visits, any additional ones will be just $10. I went in for a 2nd, it was very quick--less than 10 mins in and out. While that sounds sketchy, I once again left feeling so much better. Things to know - the room is one large room with several benches/tables and chairs for people waiting. If you are one of those people who need privacy and require a room of your own, this is not the place for you. Also, they have more than one plan, and the care coordinator up front will explain everything to you in simple terms (she's really great). The only thing I'm not looking forward to is cancelling which has to be done in person and (I think) on the Sunday before your billing cycle starts again or you'll be auto debited for the month. Honestly i don't even feel that great after my appt-. Not worth the money or hassle! Policies are followed but there's always a one off or circumstances that we can satisfy our clients. I'm moving to the area and was checking on things last month. My mom and I popped in on a Sunday and both of us were adjusted by Dr Jessie. I'd like to preface this by saying I've worked for DCs while I was in college and have been getting preventative care for ~20+ years. Excellent adjustment; very precise, all spinal regions had an audible adjustment. I am thrilled that this location is going to be the closest one to me once I'm settled. When the doctor is there, this place is great. Friendly. BUT the issue is they close early or just don't open A LOT! Three days in a row now they have either closed early or just had the doctor no show. I get it. Sometimes people get sick. Sometimes they need a vacation. But no backup? And so regularly with no advance notice. Im asking for a refund the next time I go in as it is not worth it! And your response is not correct. I just showed up for any adjustment today. I have been seeing Dr. Maurice Tucker regularly for about a year at the Hazel Dell clinic for routine maintenance and he is one of the best chiropractors I have ever been treated by, and there have been many over the years. His adjustments are just what my body needs for healthy function and just recently he rocked my world by resolving a case of frozen shoulder. To go from constant pain to no pain after one treatment is life changing. It has taken more adjustments to get full range of motion but it has taken a small fraction of the time my PT said it would take. We have been members with The Joint for years and we are from Northern CA. We came through today during a road trip to Northern WA and are so glad we did! Dr. Maurice is wonderful, he took care of both of our spines' needs and we left feeling so much better than when we'd arrived. We are extra thankful they were open as it's a holiday. We commonly travel on holidays and end up needing treatment and most chiropractors close on holidays. Just waited for about 20 minutes. Instead of using the monitor to see who is next in line, the doctor just goes to who sits next on the table and didn't even look at the monitor which has patient's' previous adjustments. A girl just walks in and sits on on a table and gets adjusted next. He didn't even look at the monitor. He just asks patience what's wrong and adjusted them. He is wonderful I dislocated and snapped tendons in my foot after recovery my foot never really felt in place Dr. Maurice after 1 session made it so I could walk a full step on my left foot. This business has very limited business hours, it seem to be closed more than it is open. I purchased a package for both my husband and myself because were told that they were open 6 days a week with evening hours. This is not the case anymore. Over the course of the last 5 weeks we have arrived several times, during published business hours, only to find a note on the day that they were closed for the day. I have emailed asking for a refund due to their limited hours have not received a response in over 2 weeks. read more

"Just pop in any branch, any day, anytime, 5 minute wait." Greeted at door with a big" Sorry, no Doctor in today. One will be here tomorrow from 10 - 3," then none again for next 4 days. Some random hand written calendar posted on door with most days showing "doctor-less". With pain in back, was not looking for these games. Actually went by following day at 2 PM, with another big "Sorry, Doctor is going to Lunch, then has several patients after that. You can always try another office." Pass !! I don't really have anything bad to say about this place, other than don't go if you're actually having chiropractic issues/pain. If you're just looking to go somewhere after the gym to stay aligned I feel like this would be fine. I went in with some extreme lower back pain. I have a normal chiropractor but couldn't get in until the following week and was in too much pain to wait. Ended up going to the hazel dell location because it was open late and does walk ins. After doing paper work I went back where there was just a row of 5 tables next to each other. No privacy. The lady was super nice, but I don't feel like much was done... I'm use to my chiro who goes into detail and goes over your whole body making sure everything gets put back in place and will tell you where he's seeing issues. I know something is seriously wrong but she did a super simple basic alignment. She asked if I felt better and I told her "no. It's still stiff and I'm still in pain". She told me that I need to come back the next day and then gave me a sheet telling me to come in X amount of times for the next 2 weeks, 1 week, etc. I've never left the chiropractor feeling no better than when I got there. I've had these back issues before so I know you have to go more than once to follow up, but this was a little ridiculous. It's a place that does the basic minimum to get you in and out as fast as possible and asks you to come in multiple times to get more business. Again... bare minimum alignments would be fine here; but if you're having real pain and need a chiropractor, I would suggest looking elsewhere. This place won't diagnose your issue or fix it. read more
