I can still remember when I found Cloud Chiropractic during the 3rd trimester of my first pregnancy. I was feeling very uncomfortable and decided to give it a whirl. After my very first appointment I was able to sit pain free in my car while driving home. I continued to go for periodic adjustments until I deliver and even after (hello nursing carpal tunnel...). But what I really appreciate is the tailored services specifically for your needs. Typically I'm seen only as needed. No generalized "two appointments per week for the next 15 weeks" that you hear of from other places. 12 years later and I'm still receiving great care. Not only me, but my 12 years later old son who's very busy with sports LOVES coming here. I appreciate how they teach him about his body and what he can do to care for himself. He is very attuned to his needs and knows when something feels off. I also have a 14 month old baby and I have received great referrals for other providers for managing things beyond their specialties. I actually had a really good massage there but when I was billed, they charge me way more than the $90 price quoted because I asked to run it through my insurance. They change $160 to insurance for a 60 minute massage. So I was responsible for $135 instead of $90 since my insurance only covered $25. I would have paid up front if I was made aware there were different prices before hand, but I was not. When I called to ask if they would honor the $90 rate, the person who took my call was rude and told me they'd talk to the Dr and essentially hung up on me. She never called me back. All I was asking is if they'd honor the $90 massage rate they'd told me about when I called to book. It is too bad because I think the Dr is well liked and the massage was great, but the office person does not seem to like her job or people. read more

I am a RAVING fan of Cloud Chiropractic. I came for aches and pains that I thought were a normal part of pregnancy and I have felt so taken care of, known, and educated through my work with Cloud and specifically with Alyssa who is my dedicated provider. Alyssa teaches me new exercises, postures, and ways to take care of myself in between appointments. She isn't afraid of my baby belly and is able to do appropriate massage and adjustments to make me feel so much better. If I skip a week of chiro because of scheduling my body tells me that I need to go back stat! I've never been like that with a chiropractor before. I moved to the Portland area late 2020 and was experiencing almost daily headaches that my migraine medication and/or posture changes via my PCP weren't fixing. A friend referred me to Dr Alyssa and Cloud Chiropractic and I am so happy she did!! Dr. Alyssa Balducci was a god-send. While she reassured me the changes wouldn't necessarily be immediately noticeable, she outlined her care plan, we stuck to it, and I truly couldn't be happier with the results. What I loved about Dr Alyssa was how knowledgeable she was. Before any new treatments or adjustments, she was sure to explain the goal and for me(a medical student) the physiology behind it which I really appreciated! I was able to try cupping and KT-style tape for muscle and tension relief, something I haven't tried with previous chiropractors. She is up to date on the current best practices, and while I know she is especially knowledgeable in prenatal and baby care, I can't speak enough to her care for my headache and general alignment. 3-stars = A-OK and that was our experience here. We came to Cloud Chiropractic after they were recommended to us by other doctors. I think they did a good job for the sessions we went to, but they said our baby didn't need any more sessions when our postpartum doula felt he did (and we agreed, since he was preferring to look towards one side of his body from a bit of torticollis and was holding tension in other areas). Anyway, we were happy we tried them, but in the end found a different craniosacral therapist and chiropractor (two separate companies). We miss the all-in-one aspect you get at Cloud and are glad we tried them, but in the end we didn't feel right scheduling someone to do work where they don't think any is needed, what's the use? read more

All of the sudden my lower back was feeling a 10/10 pain for the first time in my life! I was moving in 3 weeks out of state so I desperately searched for a place that would take me in ASAP! Cloud chiropractic had a waiting list, I got on it and in 3 days I was seen. After the first visit I had no pain!!!! I've been seeing Dr. Savannah Martinez at Cloud starting when I was 25 weeks pregnant. She is certified in The Webster technique for pregnancy chiropractor care - which was a game changer for helping me feel so good throughout my pregnancy and keeping my pelvis aligned. After my birth, I got my 1 week old in to see her and she helped to check his jaw, alignment, neck and shoulders and helped relieve gas and constipation. She gave us exercises to do at home to help loosen his tight little body. My husband now sees her as well because she is more than just a 10 minute "crack your back" chiropractor. She spends the full 30 minutes, working through your body and teaching you about what she is doing and why. She also referred us to a lactation consultant who found issues and concerns that even our pediatrician missed! Dr. Shannon has been a game changer for both my infant and me. My daughter was born tongue tied. After getting her tongue tie corrected she was still having problems nursing. I love Dr. Shannon! I chose her above others during research because she works with infants and pregnancy, and i felt i could trust her to be gentle, to be considerate of me individually. I was terrified and very skeptical of chiropractic work, but i knew i had to come due to an automobile injury. she took charge of my treatment plan, my automobile injury claim, filing with my auto insurance and offered references to a great lawyer to oversee my claim (it was so stressful and time consuming before hiring them) and a talented massage therapist. She is amazing, and can intuitively feel when to change directions in real time with her therapy, according to how the client's body is responding to the work. She has also provided several exercises that aid my treatment and recommended exercises activities that are appropriate for my body type and injury. Where to start? There are just so many wonderful things I could say about Dr. Shannon. Her chiropractic care supported me during a very difficult pregnancy. She is so gentle and her adjustments last longer than any other chiropractor I've seen. My baby was born very fussy and seemed to have trouble turning her head to one side . After trying numerous things, and our doctor telling us she was just a colicky baby, we took her to see Dr. Shannon as well. The change in our baby was AMAZING! She went from crying 80 percent of the day to just getting slightly fussy at nap times. It felt like a miracle :) After a few months of visits our girl had free range of motion in her neck and was so much happier and more comfortable. I have been treated by many Chiros... never have I had my pain diminish as it has under her care. Pain?! What pain? Ugh after several very uncomfortable sleepless months my massage therapist suggested I go see Dr. Shannon. Reluctantly I went to the website and easily and quickly booked an appointment online. Office staff is super friendly, building is very nice with tons of parking. After a bit of review of my history Dr. Shannon began the exam and adjustment. A few positions and adjustments later and I slept!!! I seriously had 90% relief after my first visit. My mid-back pain was unbearable--debilitating muscle spasms for six days! Nothing I tried was making it go away...until I saw Dr. Kaitlyn Haese. Wow! She's a miracle worker! I felt 90% relief and 150% better after just one visit! Plus, I'm a major pain wimp and she worked with me using a more gentle approach than "snap, crackle, pop." I have been seeing Dr. Shannon Anhorn for almost 2 months now - as I made a change to her to "try her out" because I was getting frustrated that the adjustments with my other chiropractor (and he is also very good taking time with patients) weren't lasting very long, or, really even getting much relief especially if I was having an extra stubborn or tight issue going on. I already knew of Dr. Shannon because I took my infant daughter to see her for adjustments when she was suffering badly from colic and reflux disease. I wasn't sure how she would be with adults, but she was so good with my daughter (Dr. Shannon was an expert I found in "infant chiropractic / adjustments": using a very gentle approach. She really seemed to alleviate some of her tension that her colic and reflux was causing as I would witness seeing her get really relaxed as Dr. Shannon would do her gentle cranial work on her). Anyway, so I tried Dr. Shannon myself - and she was WONDERFUL! My stubborn issue that just wasn't resolving after 3 adjustments with the other guy, felt SO much better..and lasted! i have been seeing her since, as of course new issues come; like those often caused lugging heavy baby girls around, especially in those car seats...ugh!;) Plus, I like to stay active and have many years of "stuff" to still work out;). Also, I have a couple fusions in my neck due to a severe MVA requiring 2 neck surgeries and it is also a very stubborn, tight area, that would be irritated and really not want to move with other chiropractors. However, Dr. Shannon is somehow able to get it to relax more than anyone I have ever been too, and get me some relief . I look forward to continued care with her. She also does not want you to "keep coming in repeatedly" - her goal is to get the adjustments down in volume over time...which my pocket book and busy schedule also very much appreciates! I was in a minor car accident and saw Dr. Shannon for some neck, back and leg pain. She came recommend by a friend after I had a terrible experience with another local chiropractor who was very "big box" and gave me very generic treatment.
