We are in the area visiting from out of town and were going to drive the drive home a 900 mile trip tomorrow. But when we went outside to start our 2008 Durango it just turned over but wouldn't start. It cranked very fast, and after several attempts finally started. I stopped it and repeatedt and then it did the same thing and wouldn't start.. Our son in the area mentioned Integrity and we gave Jeff a call and took the car over. He read the codes and even though he had a lot full of cars lined out to work on, knowing that we needed to leave to go home tomorrow with kids in carseats, he jumped right on it and had us back running late this afternoon. Jeff, of Integrity Auto Care, is probably one of the best mechanics I've ever met. I've never left Integrity feeling like I didn't get high quality work for a reasonable price. You get what you pay for. He's very good at diagnosing the problem before he starts changing parts. I have run across many people that claim to be mechanics; but they are actually parts changers...they keep changing parts until they either find the problem or you run out of money. Jeff doesn't start changing parts until he's certain he's found the real problem. And I always feel safe in recommending him to my friends, or anyone else for that matter. The only negative feedback I've ever gotten about Jeff is some feel that his prices are too high. I'd rather pay one good mechanic to do the job right the first time than pay two or three bad/cheap mechanics to finally guess right. Again, you get what you pay for. If someone has had a problem with Jeff, I'm pretty sure that Jeff wasn't the problem. My advice for how to get the best out Jeff, leave your ego and what you think you know about automobiles at home. My truck was stolen from this place The owner claims he had nothing to do with it but when the truck was found it had a new cut key in the ignition We only had one key which we left with the owner and he still had it and gave it back to us Definitely an inside job but unfortunately cops are not do anything about it so guess another trusting customer will most likely get the same service read more

He didnt fix the problem, and couldnt explain what the problem is; but charged us 120.00 and wont refund the money or look at it more. The issue is a passenger airbag light that is on. He said he doesnt have equipment to figure it out but he spent hours on it so we actually got a good deal for his time. Wtf. read more

We took our 2004 Subaru WRX STi here to have some AC work done. The guy (Jeff) is not a Subaru expert, but the Subaru shops we usually take the car to wanted quite a bit of money to deal with the AC stuff (a freon leak in one valve, replacing the ac belt, and a recharge). Jeff was pleasant on the phone and could work on the car the next day, so I dropped it off to him. When I dropped the car off he expressed concern about a smell in the engine bay. The smell was coolant being burned off. We had a leak in a radiator hose about two weeks prior, we replaced the hose. We did have the car get hotter than normal once due to the leaking hose, but it never got really hot. I wasn't worried about it as the leak was fixed and the radiator had been refilled. Jeff was really worried about the smell, I explained that I wasn't concerned about it at all, that the problem had been fixed. Jeff said he would call and let me know what he found on the ac, when it would be done and how much it would cost. He didn't call. I had to call the next day. I was told there was a leak in a valve and that the valve had been ordered. It was during this call that Jeff told me that I had a blown head gasket. He was sure of it. He told me it would cost at least $1500 to fix (not being a Subaru expert he had no idea how much it might really cost as he didn't know what kind of labor it would take to remove the turbo and stuff). I told him to fix the ac valve and I would let him know on the head gasket. Then I started thinking about it. I've had no power issues with the vehicle and I got the oil changed just a few days before taking it to the shop and they didn't see anything wonky in the coolant or the oil...so I made a phone call to my normal Subaru shop and after I explained it all to them and, like me, they were not convinced that I had a blown head gasket. I called Jeff back and told him we just wanted the ac fixed and recharged, that I was going to have the car checked out at a Subaru shop, he was agreeable to that. The next day I got a call from Jeff that the ac belt needed to be replaced (this wasn't surprising) and that the car would be ready the next day. He said he would call me when it was done and let me know how much I owed him. He never called, I had to call the next morning to find out the total cost and he was kind of rude to me, like I was an inconvenience even though I just wanted to know what I owed him. The total cost for fixing the ac (valve replacement, belt replacement and charge) was $175, not too bad actually, and the ac IS fixed. I did take the car into the Subaru shop and, as suspected, do not have a blown head gasket. Noticed the next day that there was a weird sound coming from the car, took a few days to figure out that the ac belt had not been tightened properly and was slipping causing the strange noise and scaring me half to death. I am pleased with the AC repair (except for the improperly tightened ac belt) and I feel like the cost was fair, but I didn't appreciate being totally freaked out about the head gasket... I wouldn't take our Subaru back there, but he's not a Subaru specialist, if I owned a GM vehicle (his specialty) I might take my car there. read more

I was in a time crunch due to a move and needed the spark plugs changed on my Mercury Mountaineer, as well as the front end checked out. Jeff was more than fair in his costs and did a great job on the plugs. In addition he cleaned out the throttle body and the car runs really smooth. I am a single parent teacher, who is at the mercy of auto mechanics. I have taken my '97 Toyota Tercel to Jeff for about two plus years. He has been a God send for me, diagnosing only the work I really need. I couldn't shift into gear one day...and it was scary. He took the time to trouble shoot, take it for a test drive--gave me all the signs to watch for, and said it's still working fine, and even though I was anticipating the bad news of a new clutch or transmission, he did not recommend work that didn't need to be done. He has checked my brakes, and cleaned out the filings that pile up inside, again, saying there was still some wear left, so come back and have them checked in 6 months. He also trouble shooted my daughters' car, for a reasonable fee, and fixed a minor problem. I can depend on him to tell me the bottom line truth. He also is fantastic about educating people on the proper care of their vehicles, so they can maximize the health and performance of their cars. I would highly recommend Integrity Auto to anyone looking for that old fashioned sense of not overcharging for work not needed, caring about the maintenance of each type of vehicle needs, and doing professional quality work on every kind of car.
