He seems used to patients who will say yes to everything he says and NOT ask questions. He was taken aback when I asked him about his methodology and other more sophisticated questions. He gave answers to my questions to my husband. I was surprised to see someone so loathsome of people trying to take care of people's pain. I didn't get the procedure bec. he was so weird, but he charged me $1000anyway (& not $150). Maybe he treats white patients differently because in the waiting room several white patients said they are long time patients and thought he was nice. If you are looking for pain management/anesthesiologist- find someone who is used to patients that are awake. NOT Dr. Parikh! There's a pretty detailed registration form you need to fill out for the appointment but he good news is that the masseuse literally has read it in it's entirety to ensure they provide the service you need (such as areas to focus on; areas not to touch etc). My masseuse Mindy was AMAZING! Everything from the questions she asked, to the pressure she used, checking in that I was okay and her level of professionalism! Oh and she even gave me exercises / stretches to try at home to loosen up the areas that were tight. Mindy is the bomb! The only reason the review isn't 5 stars has nothing to do with the massage but rather the facility itself. They've done their best to transform the space without major construction and the space is used for more than just massages so it is not as peaceful, serene and chic as other massage establishments. But all in all a damn good massage!

I had a cough for several days and I thought it was allergies until I started hearing crackling and…read morerattling sounds when I layed down. I went to AFC urgent care in lyndhurst.  What a waste of money! I wish I could get a refund for my $75 copay.  I clearly discussed my symptoms with the doctor.  I had a cough, fever, aches in my thighs, and I explained the crackling sounds when I lay down. I also told her that 10+ years ago I had bronchitis and another time I had a pneumonia.  Using the stethoscope she reassured me that my lungs were clear. (No xray) She said I had allergies and prescribed an allergy medication. After that visit I did not feel any better. In fact I felt worse. Two days later I went to my primary physician and he immediately heard the rattling sounds in my lungs and detected a pneumonia and sent me for Xrays. I got my results and my primary physician was right. He prescribed antibiotics, prednisone, and a cough medicine. Misdiagnosing a patient is unacceptable. I am not happy with AFC. I want a refund!
