He is so knowledgeable about every disease state, and will walk you through the science behind what is going on in your body. He is so thorough and gets to the bottom of your ailment. He is not one of the doctors who will let you walk out the door without an answer! And his main priority are his patients. He is always going above and beyond. Cannot recommend him enough! The biggest problem with this place, is trying to reach the office by phone. A few weeks ago I tried to reach the office and my call was always answered by a call center. They took my information and promised me that I would get a call back from the office. This never happened and I left several messages with the call center. This has happened several times in the past also. The funny thing is when you go to office it is filled with girls in the reception area, just talking to each other. I am fed up and will try to find a new doctor within the Optum network.

I find it very unfair to patients to have someone who does not speak fluent English call me to review my blookwork.  She clearly did not understand what I was asking her.  I went to the doctor with concerns about my health.   I then called the office back and requested a copy of my blood work.  Everything is not fine as stated by the rep. I highly recommend that you not have nurses who are incapable of speaking the language fluently call patients and make their own medical assessment.  Based on her assessment I would need no further follow up.  My bloodwork speaks for itself.  Ignoring it would only harm my health even further. A message is sent to you when you should head to the facility. Once you get the a very profesional and caring receptionist takes your name and your copay. 5 minutes later you are taken into a room and the person who takes you in proceeds to get the information about your visit. The dr. comes in 2 minutes later. Notice I say the DR. not THE PROVIDER. I needed X-rays the technician came in right away my expectations for the report time were set , 15 minutes. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Great profesional and caring service. Please do not go to CitiMD if you value your time and you want a profesional service. Also if you want to be seen by a dr. and not a PROVIDER whatever that means.

I went to AFC urgent care in lyndhurst.  What a waste of money! I wish I could get a refund for my $75 copay.  I clearly discussed my symptoms with the doctor.  I had a cough, fever, aches in my thighs, and I explained the crackling sounds when I lay down. I also told her that 10+ years ago I had bronchitis and another time I had a pneumonia.  Using the stethoscope she reassured me that my lungs were clear. (No xray) She said I had allergies and prescribed an allergy medication. After that visit I did not feel any better. In fact I felt worse. Two days later I went to my primary physician and he immediately heard the rattling sounds in my lungs and detected a pneumonia and sent me for Xrays. I got my results and my primary physician was right. He prescribed antibiotics, prednisone, and a cough medicine. Misdiagnosing a patient is unacceptable. I am not happy with AFC. I want a refund!

They always have available appointments which is so helpful when your kid is sick, but I always wonder at the same time is that because their staff are a bit cold. We do go here and do feel they provide honest care for children, I just wish the doctors, nurses and front staff had more joy and fun when the kids are around. They're all very very serious and come off stern. They will give a lollipop or a sticker which my kids do like, but in the treatment room the bedside manner is so cold unfortunately. No loving and welcoming side for the kids. For example, this morning we saw Dr. Grace. She came in, stone cold, very serious and didn't have any loving side or compassion with my three year old. I do believe she has a good concept as a doctor, I'm not doubting that, I just wish she was friendlier with the little ones. :( 5 stars for appointment availability and location to my house (super close), but 3 for their cold demeanor which I wish was more loving/welcoming for a pedi office.

The waiting area is small but they just opened up an expansion across the hall. I never had to wait long and they always have some movie on for kids to watch while hey wait. They fit me in a couple of times late in the day which I really appreciated. My 7 year old has been going since she was 4 and my new born all her life and my wife and I are happy with the service.
