They're also roasters, so their coffee is made on-site and fresh. I'm currently kicking sugar, so I've been having my coffee without it, which really helps me focus on the flavour, sifting the good from the bad stuff (at least for me). I ordered a flat white, and it was bold and flavourful, plus the barista created a happy smiley face on top of it. The staff were very friendly and seemed happy to serve, helping with the very "chill vibes" of the place. All in all, still a great little coffee shop with good coffee, a relaxing environment, and decent food. Two thumbs up!

Instead of removing her gloves, washing her hands, and putting on a fresh pair, she continued wearing the same gloves and went back behind the counter. That alone made me uncomfortable enough that I decided not to order anything. I politely made an excuse about not being interested in the flavors, and we left. What made it even worse was that, as we were leaving, we watched the same employee walk outside, touch the door handles with those same gloves, and then go back inside without changing them. Gloves are supposed to help prevent cross-contamination, not be worn while touching the floor, door handles, and other potentially dirty surfaces. This is especially concerning at a food establishment where cleanliness and proper food handling should be a priority. I can't speak to the quality of the ice cream because we chose not to order, but what I witnessed was enough to make me question the hygiene practices at this location. I really hope management addresses this and ensures employees are properly trained in basic food safety.

He trains and coaches all the baristas at Lamppost and has definitely made an impact in making Lamppost one of the best coffee shops in the Williamson County area. This trip, I tried their chocolate chip cookie, and was a little disappointed. It was dense and heavy and the taste was not that pleasing to the palate.
