The mounting service was fine, but I am really put off by the actual price being 70% higher than what he quoted me. He offered to "give" me a plastic cord cover after overhearing me tell my husband to get one. When it came time to pay I guess he decided to charge me an additional $65 dollars for a plastic cover, that should have cost $10. I am ok with paying people for what they are worth, but I don't like being duped. If you feel that your service is worth $155 then quote it appropriately. Don't tell me it is $90 and offer to "give" me something I didn't ask you for and then overcharge for it. I do not recommend this business. We purchased our own mount separately at Costco. For less than $150 A1 Installz provides the same service plus the mount. That is how much Richard overcharge us by. I regret so much using him now. We did everything to hire you for this job in good faith, including giving exact details of the service we needed, I told you that we already had our own mount and the exact size or our TV. Worst service possible! Richard Pina was called to mount 2 TVs. Talked on the phone, seemed courteous, said he would conceal the wires of the TV and quoted us $150 per TV. He was also going to bring 2 of his people with him to help. Shows up alone, did not have the equipment to conceal wires, asked us to help him and hold the TVs up for him. HeDoes half the job and leaves. Then shows up on a different day with the equipment, started to get rude demanding an additional $90 dollars an hour(!), did not connect any devices to the TV. Poor job ethic: bait-n-switched to a higher price. We ended up paying $650 for two TV mounted for a shabby job. Now here's the icing on the cake. Bought a monster of a TV coming in at 85 inches and there was no way I can mount this beast by myself. So I decided to give Richard a try and overall it was a good experience. Richard helped me dismount my old TV, move the mount according to my sitting position and viewing preference and Voilà, the new TV goes on. Okay, maybe it wasn't that easy and there were a lot of work that goes behind the scenes but Richard listened to all my concerns including my OCD to center the TV down to millimeters on the wall.
