Our coordinator was Scarlett, from the beginning, everything felt so disconnected. It gave the impression that we were just a sale. She never initiated any type of contact with us. We had so many questions and getting detailed answers was like pulling teeth. She repeatedly told us that all details regarding the venue were typically finalized a week before the event, which made us both uncomfortable. We were given a folder of multiple vendors that they endorsed. I started with the bakeries. The first one I called took over two weeks to return my message regarding our cake. She was rude and not interested in setting up a meeting. The next two bakeries I scheduled tastings for. We chose our flavors and scheduled them two hours apart. The first bakery in San Gabriel had no record of any tastings prepared. The email they had shared with me was from a bakery in Hawaii. The woman in the bakery became hostile and combative and began yelling and grabbing my phone to confirm the mistake they made. We end up walking out. And she followed us to our truck to try and make us choose from her display. We left and went to the third bakery in upland, Sweet Art Cakes. The man we spoke to and made our selections with, Luis was there. He looked surprised to see us. It turns out he forgot to prepare our tastings. That should have been the first and only red flag, but no. He was extremely apologetic and admitted he forgot. He said he will prepare our tastings a week later and we can pick them up and do it from home. He threw in a few extra samples. Meanwhile he never wrote anything down or made any notes. Over the next few months I sent him colors and designs. He confirmed. And then he ghosted us. I could not reach him to pay for the upgrade. We paid an additional nearly $700 because my parents wanted a larger cake. He said he would pack to go boxes so guests could take cake home. I was unable to reach him to pay for the cake until two days before our wedding. At this time Scarlett re-emerged and gave us a final run down. We had a wedding of roughly 50 people and we paid quite a lot more on upgrades to our buffet dinner and extra guests. She said she would be at the reception and she was not. There was no one to coordinate anything. Our cake was delivered to the restaurant, not to our room which went unnoticed until 8 pm when we asked where it was. The restaurant staff carried our cake in and left it lopsided due to their height difference. The color of the cake was wrong as well as the flavors. It was not the cake we chose. In the long run, nearly the entire cake went to waste because the to go boxes were never given to us. We called and spoke to Luis, and he admitted that he believed the correct top tier of our cake was in his freezer. And then blamed the venue for misplacing the cake that he delivered to the wrong room. He sent me a picture of the cake in front of a stained glass window that was in the restaurant. But refused to offer any compensation for the waste or accountability. The cake review is on the Sweet Art Cakes page. The business for the centerpieces was just as disappointing. I asked for a specific color of roses and was told they could be dyed. Then she said they could not do it and immediately asked us to pay an obscene amount on additional florals, which we declined. I understand the attempt at upselling but the delivery was tacky. We used to make reservations on our anniversaries and special occasions, but the entire planning experience was disappointing. We have not gone back as much as we used to. They made us feel like they just collected a paycheck off of us and nothing more. I mean our coordinator didn't even show up to coordinate. I emailed her about our issues and she said she would let management know and never heard back. I would be cautious with all of their vendors because this entire experience ruined a very special place for us.

There a room to decorate the pumpkins along with other arts and crafts. There's other activities like a petting zoo, panning for gold, butter churning, fairy garden, and quilting + more all included with the entry fee. It's a short event from 10-2 but if you're local it's definitely worth a visit. They sell burgers and hotdogs, which they BBQ on site, if you want to have lunch there. I packed some snacks for the kids as it was a short event and it was not an issue taking it in. Everyone was so friendly and eager to help with activities.

I had my baby shower at Electric Loft just over a month ago, and have nothing but wonderful things…read moreto say about my experience! When I first requested a quote, I recieved a response very quickly from Pro, the manager, and he remained available for any questions I had until I was ready to sign my quote and lock in my event (and thereafter until shower day.) When you request a quote, you'll be sent a questionnaire about what you'll need for your event (time frame, services, furnishings, etc.) so you know exactly what you're paying for when you get your price. There is a lot included in the price, but other than some standard items like tables and chairs, you'll need to rent, or bring in everything else yourself or with outside vendors. I did all of my own decor, had my family and friends help me set up, and we catered Porto's. There is a full kitchen with a stove/oven, prep area and sink as well if you're cooking yourself, we used the oven to warm up potato balls and stored drinks in the fridge and it worked out great. You can rent a cover for the kitchen if it's not your vibe. Here's some of the concerns I had before booking and how we overcame them: Concern: the venue is on the second story in a historic building and is only accessible by stairs. Solution: It is only one flight of stairs, and there is a break in the middle with ample room for a chair or bench if guests need a stopping point. I informed my guests of this ahead of time and had my husband help anyone who needed assistance, everyone was able to make it work. It was a little but rough carrying all of our own stuff up, but many hands made light work. Concern: there is only one bathroom for an event of nearly 90 people. Solution: Honestly, this was only an issue for us at the beginning of our event when people were arriving from far away places. Once the initial rush died out, there was never even a line for the bathroom. Concern: the space is very plain. Solution: The space does not have many bells and whistles, but I found it charming and rustic, and there's lots of opportunity to really make it as dressed up as you want with whatever theme you can think of. Also, the natural light from the windows on both sides of the building made things that much more appealing. Concern: there is no designated parking. Solution: the Electric Loft team was able to save some spaces directly in front for me and my set-up team, and then parking is open up and down the streets as well as at the nearby park. No one had any issues, save for some later arrivals as there was some kind of art event at another building nearby. There may be a little walking involved, but not so much that it made anything impossible. All in all, everyone thought it was a great spot and I've been recommending Electric Loft all over the place, and I'll continue to do so. Also shout out to The Splendor Co for my photo spot!

I knew Brenda would be wonderful in helping and having one less thing to worry about, in an already emotional situation. My friends were mindblown by the set up! The detailed wine glasses, then candles and even the fresh flowers, it all bended in together just right. We wanted to find someone in our local area to support a small business for sure, and she was the perfect fir, she has the talent and the heart to out it all together alongside her caring and helpful husband. Our friendsgiving dinner wouldn't have been the way we imagined without her helpful sure. The prices are also very decent and there's so many themes to pick and choose from.
