The event was held at the Via Verde Country Club which overlooks the San Dimas and Via Verde local area. It has amazing views and lots of nice sections like a ballroom, dining area, pool, tennis courts, and I believe a golf course. The service was first class, and spare no expenses. They had fire dancers, a girl in a large bubble in the pool, a sketch artist, live band, and an assortment of hor d'oeuvres throughout the evening including salmon, meatballs, veggie dishes, and shrimp. Everything was great. They had an entire indoor area as well with a spread of desserts. Very classy place and a great time. I recommend booking events here.

Attended and helped set up and breakdown an event this past weekend. Our event was reunion, we…read moregot bumped from Brookside in Pasadena because the Rose Bowl has the right to do so when a huge event is taking place simultaneously. So out we go to San Dimas, after the commute and winding through a residential neighborhood you'll find a nice facility with easy access. Regarding decor, I recommend bringing everything you need to create ambiance. You cannot affix anything to the walls so it's a blank canvas. Lighting seemed to be a good option, I wish we had more. They kept the room very bright, it would have been nice if our banquet manager showed us how to dim the lights. Most people were talking and catching up, so it was a small detail, but would have been easier on the eyes to not be brightly lit. You also have to bring in all your own equipment for music and video. They did help us set up our projector and laptop to a screen on the wall to show a slideshow video. Areas of improvement: The bar needed a second bartender to serve as the line was out the door to the bar. So the event planner, banquet manager should have planned for that based on the number of RSVPs. There was coffee and tea self service in the bar. They only had "to go" cups and fake creamer. This was a disappointment. Dessert was served on disposable styrofoam plate which seemed a little janky. What was very nice: The dinner was buffet, real plates and silverware and cloth napkins. Yay. The food selections were cheese platter, fruits for appy, then Tri-Tip (very good), chicken (didn't try) Veggie Lasagna (needed some color, didn't try), mashed potatoes, rice and assorted squash (squash was good). The staff was friendly, AC worked great as it was over 100 degrees outside. So we couldn't use the balcony. Bathroom and event space were clean. Overall a positive experience. Appreciated their hospitality. We were able to set up l(see bridal lounge to change clothes... for an additional fee) breakdown and get everything out in our allotted time.

I got two toddlers dressed and out of the house (an ordeal, as any parent would know), only to get there and told coldly that they don't do custom bouquets. I said that I was told otherwise on the phone. The lady asked how much I was willing to spend, I told her, and she went to the back to talk to someone. She came back and said nope, they won't accommodate that. I feel like the person on the phone just lied so I could come in and hopefully just buy one of their premade centerpieces (which I didn't like and also they weren't bouquets soooo....). There were at least two instances of ick: (1) being lied to on the phone and (2) being denied service bc perhaps I wasn't spending enough? I wish they would just say: "It's Mother's Day weekend and we can't accommodate" (as other florists I called said) or "We will accommodate if you spend x dollars." Instead, they left me with an icky feeling at the end of the day. Stop lying to people just to try to make a dollar or two. Do better. You have so much competition in the area.

The next room over was perfect for a small play bouncer. No kitchen area. The catering company all had to set up outside in the already limited parking lot area. The pavement was in ruin. We also hosted years of basketball in that same gym. The grounds are old but now 10 years from when I first was introduced to PCC they have continued to improve! I met Sky who is their events coordinator and has new ideas for making the space versatile and updated. She is very friendly and knowledgeable and I'm excited to see what she will do with it! They have multiple classrooms, housing, a gym, meeting rooms and 2 chapels.
