The…read morevenue design is flexible and allows for creative decorating, we fit all guests comfortably with space for a DJ, dance floor, 2 food vendors (one who had a custom churro cart) and had room to spare. My daughter loved that it was a blank canvas, and our decorators had fun designing the space out. The venue offers hosting service, we rented it a full day and our Hosts, Amber & Alex were phenomenal. Chairs and tables came with the venue rental which was perfect. As a mother my job usually means I set up the venue, while coordinating arrivals, and then rushing to get ready just before the party starts. I showed up early, ready to work and Alex politely informed me that it was her job to make my day less stressful. I ended up staying an hour and left Alex and Amber to coordinate the rest of the set up. I cannot say enough positive things about both ladies, they made the night special, and I was able to enjoy hostess duties without all the extra work. Danielle was our Beverage attendant, and she was also fantastic, she helped us keep the TV's replaying our daughter's reel all night. We've recommended the space to family and friends looking to host their events and I'll definitely use the space again if I have a need. 10/10 recommend if you want a space you can design for a guest list of 80 or less. Including some photos of how the venue turned out the night of.

San Dimas Canyon Clubhouse - Very bright room, would have been nice to dim the lights.

So out we go to San Dimas, after the commute and winding through a residential neighborhood you'll find a nice facility with easy access. Regarding decor, I recommend bringing everything you need to create ambiance. You cannot affix anything to the walls so it's a blank canvas. Lighting seemed to be a good option, I wish we had more. They kept the room very bright, it would have been nice if our banquet manager showed us how to dim the lights. Most people were talking and catching up, so it was a small detail, but would have been easier on the eyes to not be brightly lit. You also have to bring in all your own equipment for music and video. They did help us set up our projector and laptop to a screen on the wall to show a slideshow video. Areas of improvement: The bar needed a second bartender to serve as the line was out the door to the bar. So the event planner, banquet manager should have planned for that based on the number of RSVPs. There was coffee and tea self service in the bar. They only had "to go" cups and fake creamer. This was a disappointment. Dessert was served on disposable styrofoam plate which seemed a little janky. What was very nice: The dinner was buffet, real plates and silverware and cloth napkins. Yay. The food selections were cheese platter, fruits for appy, then Tri-Tip (very good), chicken (didn't try) Veggie Lasagna (needed some color, didn't try), mashed potatoes, rice and assorted squash (squash was good). The staff was friendly, AC worked great as it was over 100 degrees outside. So we couldn't use the balcony. Bathroom and event space were clean. Overall a positive experience. Appreciated their hospitality. We were able to set up l(see bridal lounge to change clothes... for an additional fee) breakdown and get everything out in our allotted time.

I called ahead to ask if they would accommodate a walk-in order of two bouquets (my toddlers were excited to choose their own flowers for bouquets). It was a busy weekend (Saturday before Mother's Day) so I wanted to be sure. The lady on the phone reassured me that they would accommodate that. I got two toddlers dressed and out of the house (an ordeal, as any parent would know), only to get there and told coldly that they don't do custom bouquets. I said that I was told otherwise on the phone. The lady asked how much I was willing to spend, I told her, and she went to the back to talk to someone. She came back and said nope, they won't accommodate that. I feel like the person on the phone just lied so I could come in and hopefully just buy one of their premade centerpieces (which I didn't like and also they weren't bouquets soooo....). There were at least two instances of ick: (1) being lied to on the phone and (2) being denied service bc perhaps I wasn't spending enough? I wish they would just say: "It's Mother's Day weekend and we can't accommodate" (as other florists I called said) or "We will accommodate if you spend x dollars." Instead, they left me with an icky feeling at the end of the day. Stop lying to people just to try to make a dollar or two. Do better. You have so much competition in the area.
