I had my baby shower at Electric Loft just over a month ago, and have nothing but wonderful things…read moreto say about my experience! When I first requested a quote, I recieved a response very quickly from Pro, the manager, and he remained available for any questions I had until I was ready to sign my quote and lock in my event (and thereafter until shower day.) When you request a quote, you'll be sent a questionnaire about what you'll need for your event (time frame, services, furnishings, etc.) so you know exactly what you're paying for when you get your price. There is a lot included in the price, but other than some standard items like tables and chairs, you'll need to rent, or bring in everything else yourself or with outside vendors. I did all of my own decor, had my family and friends help me set up, and we catered Porto's. There is a full kitchen with a stove/oven, prep area and sink as well if you're cooking yourself, we used the oven to warm up potato balls and stored drinks in the fridge and it worked out great. You can rent a cover for the kitchen if it's not your vibe. Here's some of the concerns I had before booking and how we overcame them: Concern: the venue is on the second story in a historic building and is only accessible by stairs. Solution: It is only one flight of stairs, and there is a break in the middle with ample room for a chair or bench if guests need a stopping point. I informed my guests of this ahead of time and had my husband help anyone who needed assistance, everyone was able to make it work. It was a little but rough carrying all of our own stuff up, but many hands made light work. Concern: there is only one bathroom for an event of nearly 90 people. Solution: Honestly, this was only an issue for us at the beginning of our event when people were arriving from far away places. Once the initial rush died out, there was never even a line for the bathroom. Concern: the space is very plain. Solution: The space does not have many bells and whistles, but I found it charming and rustic, and there's lots of opportunity to really make it as dressed up as you want with whatever theme you can think of. Also, the natural light from the windows on both sides of the building made things that much more appealing. Concern: there is no designated parking. Solution: the Electric Loft team was able to save some spaces directly in front for me and my set-up team, and then parking is open up and down the streets as well as at the nearby park. No one had any issues, save for some later arrivals as there was some kind of art event at another building nearby. There may be a little walking involved, but not so much that it made anything impossible. All in all, everyone thought it was a great spot and I've been recommending Electric Loft all over the place, and I'll continue to do so. Also shout out to The Splendor Co for my photo spot!

We made sure to keep things safe, masks, face coverings, temp checks, NO GAMES! Daniela was my events coordinator and she was nothing short of amazing. She was willing to work with us. Although I had to cut my guest list short (Covid restrictions) we still made it work with one of their outside venues! My party turned out great! I'll definitely be coming back here to have another event.

The old historic house was big enough to host this event with ample parking in the back of the location, but there is also plenty of street parking or parking across at Autozone's parking lot. Because it is an historic house, there was no insulation so it still felt quite cold inside. If you attend an event here, make sure to dress warmly if it's in the colder times of the year. Bathrooms were plenty and well maintained. Overall, I hope the house gets remodeled so it can keep holding events!

It's also known as The Ebell Club…read more Rental does not come with a lot of fancy bells and whistles, but it's a spacious, beautiful venue with a lot of character and has all the essentials-- chairs, tables, a large functional kitchen, a bar area, large stage for band or DJ, nice restrooms for the ladies, its own parking lot, and security (and they don't mess around). In fact, my husband thought it was overkill that security searched everyone coming in and strictly enforced dress code (no gang attire), but he's not from the area so he doesn't understand. Overall, we were very happy with this venue and so was my pops. It was totally his style. And I also have some nice little nostalgic memories of this venue from back in the day when my friends and I would get our Aqua Net and our groove on. Some may say it's little pricey for the area, but it's a historical land mark in the city of Pomona, AND you can bring in your own food (instant savings) AND your own liquor (tremendous instant savings). AND they clean up for you at the end of the event--totally awesome when you danced too much in those nonsensible shoes and just want to kick them off and go home to bed. Staff was great too--office personnel very helpful and professional. Security team also in close contact and very professional especially during encounter with one tequila faced guest . . . Despite it being a smaller venue, we were still able to have a DJ, dance floor, and taco man. With that, 65 guests was pushing the limit so I think if you're planning a party with more people this venue would not be for you. This place is amazing, and the food is so good. They have pasta, salad, omelet, and seafood stations. The seafood station included shrimp, lobster, and crab -- everything was delicious! The manager, Ali, was very friendly and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Our waiters, Johnathan & Christopher, were awesome. They kept the champagne flowing and were very attentive to all of our needs. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this venue for any special celebration!
