Words are not enough to thanks this place! My wedding reception was here and it was 10/10. The place is beautiful, super clean and enough room for our 100 guests. The food is really delicious, everybody loved the food! Francisco, the owner, was so helpful and friendly. You can tell he's really knowledgeable about events and always open to answer any question. He was even part of the catering serving the food. The servers were really great people! Francisco let us practice our first dance before the date and gave us so much food at the wedding menu tasting! I highly recommend this venue!

Wow!! We were extremely satisfied with this venue for our daughter's 18th birthday party. Everything went very smooth from the time we booked until the day of the party. Francisco was so easy to work with and very helpful in planning the party even when I made last minute changes. The place looked spectacular and our guests were all impressed!! Also, the DJ they provided brought additional lighting to really set the stage for a great party. We were very happy!!

Had a quinceañera for my sister and it came out amazing! All the guest loved the food and decorations. The DJ had everyone on the dance floor from the beginning til the very end. This was our second time having an event and we will keep having more. They always go above and beyond.

I celebrated my 50th birthday party here, and Francisco was an incredible help--professional, attentive, and on top of every detail.

So finding a good venue for a two-day leadership retreat usually feels like trying to locate the hidden city of Wakanda... just impossible. But this faciilty is easily one of the most beautiful in the area. It sits up on a hill with these massive floor to ceiling windows in the ballroom that give you a view of LA that rivals looking out from Stark Tower,, it is just an amazng vibe. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. They handled all our executive attendees with that Captain America level of patience and coordination. We had a bunch of professionals there for the event and they all kept talking about how it felt like a real getaway... not just a boring corporate room. plus there is a ton of walking space outside. you can wander around and clear your head like Doctor Strange visiting Kamar-Taj. Anyway, the whole two days went perfectly. If you are putting together a big meeting or training, you cant just settle for some random hotel basement. * the views alone are worth it * the team has your back like Nick Fury I highly recommend this place. it really feels like the official Avengers Compound but with way better scenery. Special thanks to many of the staff, such as Lauren, Jared, Adrian, and many others. 5 stars

This place is beautiful. It sits on the mountain top. Amazing views. Very quiet and overall just a very peaceful place. I've always enjoyed coming here. There's a hiking trail as well which I have hiked a few time, I like this trail because it's a good workout and very scenic. It feels good to be surrounded by nature and just being here lifts my spirits and makes me happy. I miss my grandma and wanted to come here for that reason but I'm glad I did because i forgot how amazing his place is and I will definitely be back, next time to hike the trail :)

When I first requested a quote, I recieved a response very quickly from Pro, the manager, and he remained available for any questions I had until I was ready to sign my quote and lock in my event (and thereafter until shower day.) When you request a quote, you'll be sent a questionnaire about what you'll need for your event (time frame, services, furnishings, etc.) so you know exactly what you're paying for when you get your price. There is a lot included in the price, but other than some standard items like tables and chairs, you'll need to rent, or bring in everything else yourself or with outside vendors. I did all of my own decor, had my family and friends help me set up, and we catered Porto's. There is a full kitchen with a stove/oven, prep area and sink as well if you're cooking yourself, we used the oven to warm up potato balls and stored drinks in the fridge and it worked out great. You can rent a cover for the kitchen if it's not your vibe. Here's some of the concerns I had before booking and how we overcame them: Concern: the venue is on the second story in a historic building and is only accessible by stairs. Solution: It is only one flight of stairs, and there is a break in the middle with ample room for a chair or bench if guests need a stopping point. I informed my guests of this ahead of time and had my husband help anyone who needed assistance, everyone was able to make it work. It was a little but rough carrying all of our own stuff up, but many hands made light work. Concern: there is only one bathroom for an event of nearly 90 people. Solution: Honestly, this was only an issue for us at the beginning of our event when people were arriving from far away places. Once the initial rush died out, there was never even a line for the bathroom. Concern: the space is very plain. Solution: The space does not have many bells and whistles, but I found it charming and rustic, and there's lots of opportunity to really make it as dressed up as you want with whatever theme you can think of. Also, the natural light from the windows on both sides of the building made things that much more appealing. Concern: there is no designated parking. Solution: the Electric Loft team was able to save some spaces directly in front for me and my set-up team, and then parking is open up and down the streets as well as at the nearby park. No one had any issues, save for some later arrivals as there was some kind of art event at another building nearby. There may be a little walking involved, but not so much that it made anything impossible. All in all, everyone thought it was a great spot and I've been recommending Electric Loft all over the place, and I'll continue to do so. Also shout out to The Splendor Co for my photo spot!

Kellogg House - Vargas Wedding 6/2022

There are definitely pros and cons associated with this venue…read more Pros: - The staff is SO attentive and helpful on your wedding day. They make sure everything associated with the venue runs smoothly and give VIP service to the bride and groom. The staff served my husband and I our dinner and both the venue coordinators asked my husband and I what alcoholic beverage we'd like to drink after the ceremony (and then went and got it for us!). The bartender gave us special attention by prioritizing us whenever we went up to the bar. - The venue is gorgeous and the food is amazing. We got so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was and how good the food tasted. - The venue coordinator responds promptly to email and never lets anything slip between the cracks. - You can do a lot of DIY at this venue to truly personalize your wedding. Cons: - This venue is reasonably priced for how beautiful and elegant it is. However, there are a LOT of upcharges associated with it. One of the upcharges that really bothered me was that you have to pay for glass wine glasses per setting. They only offer 150 stem-less glasses, but their venue has a capacity of 200, so why not carry your capacity? Our guest count was 164, so we had to pay for each wine glass at $1 per glass to have 164 stemmed wine glasses at each table setting. If you want the wine served to each guest (instead of pre-poured), you will need to hire servers at $25 each per hour to do so. - While the venue coordinator is responsive, she is not the warm welcoming coordinator that you might expect as a bride. Her responses are curt and to the point (and sometimes make you feel like you're bothering her), and it's not the customer service you'd expect for paying a significant amount of money to get married here. - If you plan to book a room block at the Kellogg West hotel, you can expect the absolute WORST customer service from the manager, Cameron. His email communication is extremely rude, and he makes you feel like you're a nuisance for bothering him. He gives bare minimum answers to everything and never once thanks you for your business. - You really need to hire a "wedding coordinator" with this venue. The venue coordinators make sure everything at the venue runs smoothly. If you want to ensure that your wedding day timeline runs smoothly, you need to have a wedding coordinator do this for you. Trust me, it's much better than your friend or mom having to do it!!! Overall though, I would recommend this venue. It was the perfect setting for our wedding day, and we had an overall positive experience.
