Padua Hill's only required vendor is Entertainment Express because the venue was fitted with a sound system specifically for Entertainment, and the quality of the experience was one of the main reasons we ended up hosting our wedding at Padua. The team was so thoughtful and thorough during our planning process, helping us consider different options for lighting, timeline, and songs for the processional, first dance, etc. One of the key things we wanted to include during our wedding was having a song our friend wrote and recorded be a song that played during our cocktail hour as an Easter egg for our friend to experience. Getting to share that moment with him when he realized his song was playing was a highlight to our wedding Entertainment Express brought to life. The team was also really helpful in helping us transition through the different points of our wedding, and made the day feel super cohesive. While our experience was specific to Padua, there's no doubt EE wouldn't be able to make events at other venues feel just as special.

I excitedly emailed them through the website. 2 days passed with no response. I decided to copy the email from the website and send it directly. Mind you that I had called them in between these days only to get no one on the line. By the 3rd time I left a voicemail. A couple of days later someone finally responded to my email asking these questions about my wedding. I gladly responded within an hour of receiving the email. I asked if I could get a breakdown of services provided and general pricing. It's been over a week and a half since I sent that email. Still no response. It's been over 2 weeks since I initially reached out, but still no response. I didn't even get a phone call back from the initial voicemail I left. I understand that times might be busy, but if you can't even reply to a simple email or phone call, you probably should rethink how you treat the customer. If this is a preview of the type of service I would get if I hired this vendor, I would gladly pass. It's sad that I was referred by a friend who had great experiences and yet I was not treated in the same manner.

Upon reading her website, I quickly realized that she was an event planner for all kinds of events in addition to weddings. Upon speaking with her, I realized that she would be able to take care of all kinds of details that I hadn't previously even thought of, like, would I need umbrellas to shield my guests from the sun. Thank goodness I hired her; we all would have been very hot, sunburnt, and uncomfortable, if she hadn't attended to so many seemingly "small" details that I would have never thought of on my own. By the time my party began, it had morphed into a beautiful, tasteful, event. My guests all said how cared for and pampered they felt, which is exactly how I felt, as the birthday girl. I'm so glad that I hired Ricki. She left no stone unturned, making sure that the food was just as I wanted it, to having the tables and chairs set and ready to go; helping me find a photographer that was perfect for the party; helping me find a florist that was able to work within my means, both from a decor as well as a financial perspective.
