This is the second time our high school used the Fun Company for an afterschool event, and we are very happy with their product and service. Renee in the office was super helpful and promptly replied to all emails. The student who worked with her says she made the process very easy. Both times we used the Fun Company, we ordered 4+ items, most of which were large inflatables. These inflatables were super impressive and the students especially loved the joust and the large V-Rec obstacle course. Not only are the prices competitive and fair, but the staff who set them up and monitored them were helpful, courteous, professional and efficient. Zach and his team of six people arrived early and helped us map out the locations on campus to best set up the items. They quickly set up all of the inflatables in a quiet and prompt manner, without disturbing the classes on campus. The team also gave our student organizers an effective overview of each of the attractions. I appreciated the fun but professional nature of the staff. Lastly, Zach and his team worked very quickly to break down the equipment. We will definitely use their service again. read more

These people a scammers! Please do yourself a favor and find a different company. They were at the Sherman Oaks Fair today "providing" kids rides and bounce houses. They sell tickets that you can exchange for a ride and they have a full list of rides "available," total about 10. Well they don't tell you that only bounce houses are open and the other rides were shut down due to not operational issues. I have 3 year and 16 month old who cannot do much or long on the bounce houses so I went back to ask to give me a refund for the tickets. Literally, I use 2 tickets out of 25 which I paid $60 for. The staff was rude and screaming at me that no refunds. When I told them you are marketing something that is not open they did not care. I never seen anything like that! Entitled and rude tone without any disregard for the situation. What is this customer service?! I will report them to the consumer commission as well for miss advertising and not providing services for something they initially offered. I can't believe these people have business! Shame on you and your business strategy by tricking people into giving you cash! If I could give zero I would! read more

Let me start by saying my organization has had a good, long standing relationship with The Fun Co. We have been happy customers doing business with them without incident for nearly a decade. Our organization participates in an annual local hometown fair, whereby we have utilized The Fun Co for rental of the Hi-Striker unit, the "bell and hammer" game whereby participants test their strength by hammering a mallet onto a rubber pad, launching the pin in an effort to ring the bell (a classic carnival game). Three years ago, during the middle of the fair, a spring broke, leaving the 17-ft Hi-Striker inoperable for over two hours while we scrambled to Home Depot to replace this spring. As this served as a fundraiser for our organization, we lost out on significant revenue and negotiated a credit from Fun Co. We were happy they worked with us and suggested they supply us with spare parts in the future. The next year, we were unlucky again, this time with the metal "tongue" snapping, which launches the pin. While this was an unfortunate deal, one of our members (who happens to be a contractor) was able to tack weld the piece back, providing a temporary fix to get us through the fair. Again, because this event serves as a fundraiser, we negotiated a credit. Our feelings are that while this occurred on our watch, the very nature of the Hi-Striker makes these things inevitable and there should be an expectation to supply spare parts to your customers in the event this occurs (much like a car rental company providing a spare tire on a vehicle). Move ahead to 2014, and this time we were shocked at the condition of the Hi-Striker. It would have appeared that nobody had even cared to do any routine maintenance, on a unit that is repeatedly hit and would need to be maintained. This time, the rubber pad for which hundreds of people hit, arrived to us cracked and falling apart! A part seemingly so insignificant provided us the most grief. Before even letting the first customer step up, our team of handy-men and women were able to duck tape the pad as best could be. However, the pad was effectively rotted out, and we lost several hours over the weekend attempting to fix the unit. To help our case, we took pictures (time stamped, nonetheless, before the event) outlining our grievance. Our concerns with the maintenance of the unit were met with complete disdain and disregard by Buck (the owner). Instead of accepting responsibility and understanding that this game needed to be maintained, he decided to hide behind his administrator and say he was not going to rent to us again. So, in July 2015, I attempted to reach out to Buck and have a professional understanding, whereby I outlined our organizations willingness to assume cost of these spare parts (yes, I offered to buy the spare parts to avoid this type of trouble). One would think a business owner looking to grow their business would want to connect with their customers, however, Buck refused and continued to hide behind his administrator and refuses to have a professional conversation. I do commend Laura at The Fun Co, as she attempted to do everything in her power to help mediate the situation. I firmly believe she sees our organization's willingness to work with The Fun Co and make things right. It is too bad that this day in age, with social media helping to make or break organizations, that Buck would be so obtuse and refuse to call a customer and have a discussion to resolve any issue. At the end of the day, we will find a new company to work with. Once our business moves, we will likely never do business again with The Fun Co, which is a shame. In conclusion, I'm still waiting for your call Buck. You know who I am and you have my contact information and know how to reach me. I give you 2 stars because I find your handling of this situation unprofessional and unbecoming of a business owner. I would caution all potential customers who wish to work with The Fun Co to work directly with Laura (very sweet lady) and avoid dealing with Buck. read more

We used the Fun Company for our middle school carnival and the students absolutely loved their inflatables. We had the jump off, the rugged warrior challenge, and the corn maze. Laura was fantastic to work with and helped every step of the way. Yes, the price is much higher than other companies but you get what you pay for. The guys were on time and professional, the set up was quick, they kept the lines moving, and the clean-up was quick. I found this place while researching on google... I saw great reviews and thought I would call and see what the feel was.. Laura was awesome! We called two days before we needed the jumper for a corporate event, and we were able to reserve it no problem! We ordered the inflatable Derby race for a company activity for stress awareness week. Not only did our employees love it, but we ended up attracting an audience from our neighbors in our complex. I've worked with Laura and The Fun Company for three years and the service is consistently above and beyond my expectations! I'm a teacher in Inglewood and responsible for organizing an annual carnival. I rent all the rides from The Fun Company. The rides always show up in great condition with professional attendants who are on time or early to set up. But the best part of the experience is interacting with Laura. She is SO incredibly helpful! Our school is not always the easiest to work with, we have strict insurance requirements and purchase orders can take months to fill. But Laura is patient and accommodating. She's been able to quickly provide any necessary documentation and make changes to the contracts accordingly.
