I have been going there last 2-3 years. I am very picky about my hair. I used to come to hair cut when i saw a lady at the restaurant she had a great hair cut I wanted. She gave me a number and called. Mai has been taking care of my hair past many years. People ask me where I get hair cut all the time. Lately I went other stylist because I was too busy going there (it takes one hour to get this place, but it is worth it). I realized how much Mai knew about my hair, my face, what it look good on me. Price is always reasonable. It is very hard to find beautician that knows your hair. I am totally regretting to go other place. I forgot I usually do not have to tell a lot to Mai because she knows my hair. But other places if I had to, even I explain everything, it never communicates to them. I have a lot of hair. Mai usually every efficient with her time, never complain about me changing my appointment, and always willing to be flexible to set appointment. Respond very quickly from texting. I rarely wait arriving on appointment time. Other staffs are very nice as well. It remodeled the whole salon and look very clean and nice. Trendy as I went today. I visited Inspired Cuts with an appointment to see Jamie, scheduled after her vacation. Upon arrival, Jamie was unavailable, and Long, the manager, offered to cut and color my hair. Despite my preference to wait for Jamie, Long insisted on proceeding. During our communication, I expressed discomfort and opted to reschedule, but Long, asserting his managerial expertise, convinced me to proceed. Despite my thorough explanation of desired outcomes (grey highlights without any red tones, maintaining a specific hair length balance), Long assured me he understood. Regrettably, the purported temporary toner turned out to be a permanent color, covering my blonde/grey hair with an unwanted red tint. The razor cut resulted in damaged aesthetics. This experience was both misleading and unsatisfactory, constituting a significant financial disappointment. On a positive note, I later discovered Jamie in Richardson, providing a more fulfilling experience and hope at correcting the damage done by Long at Inspired Cuts. read more

I love all the ladies at Inspired Cuts Murphy location. Tracy is my go to girl. She always does a fantastic job. I have naturally wavy and curly hair and I have a lot oil of hair so its difficult to work with. Not to mention I change my mind often as to the color or highlights. I must say, with all that Tracy comes through for me. Shes so patient and thorough. Any doubts, she consults with the owner Mai. They are wonderful women and all do such a good job. If you're not going to Inspired Cuts Murphy, you're missing out. They do everything from eyebrows to eye lashes to hair cut color and style. Not sure what I'd do without them. Go see them.. Oh my goodness, I had my brows and eyeliner tattooed by Mei at Inspired Cuts a few weeks ago. Every single day since, strangers approach me to tell me how beautiful my brows are. I am so happy. I completely lost my brows as a result of chemotherapy a year ago, and now I don't have to be self conscious or struggle with brow makeup. Mary did such a good job with my haircut today. She listened carefully to my directions and then applied them so well to come up with the haircut that fits really well to my face. After having my haircut done by 3-4 different stylists in the past years, she is the first one in a long time who finally understood what I meant. One can see that she is very experienced hairstylist. I plan to always have my haircut done by Mary in the future. I've gone to Inspired Cuts for over a decade. I usually go to Helen, but I go to Mai as well. Both are outstanding. I get mine colored, cut, styled, and it's a reasonable price. They're so friendly too. I also recommend the deep conditioning treatments. My sons and daughter have gotten their hair cut by multiple stylists, and they always do a great job regarding specific cuts I want. I highly recommend them. i would not even rate this place because it was beyond horrible they are liars they will lie and probably most likely burn your scalp they take your money and if you dont pay them they will try calling the cops on you. they ruined my hair and have no people registered under state board ... business will go down read more
