A freestanding shop that just sells cookies is a bold and innovative idea got to give them props for that. They're open late which is great there's not a lot of late night places to get something sweet in Rochester so kudos there too. However having completely inept employees who can barely run your computer as well as selling ridiculously overpriced confections WITHOUT HAVING MILK AVAILABLE is where you completely lose me. I just bought a $5.35 cookie. I didn't realize you had to pay extra to get a fully baked one. Mine had a significantly amount of severely undercooked cookie dough. Well color me tickled pink! These are delicious cookies!! I had a delivery of one of their boxed options and I'm impressed. I was a little concerned initially with some of the reviews being meh, but if you like a soft, chewy, WARMLY delivered cookie, this is your place! The delivery person was lovely and they dropped off exactly where requested. (This is sometimes a challenge with some businesses due to being at a back entrance). The cookies I chose were Dbl Choc Chunk, Fluffernutter (surprisingly good), Choc Mint, M&M, Snickerdoodle. All were hits with my palate and my favorite being the Choc Mint. So as we enter the store, the young lady greets us and patiently awaits our order. We take a few minutes to decide on our options. I inquired about which cookie was the employee's favorite. She suggested snicker doodle and we ordered that along with the Deluxe Triple Chocolate Chunk and the Deluxe Triple PeanutButter Cup. The total was almost $8 for three cookies. I inquired about the empty ice cream cooler and was told that they are often out of icecream. The cookies are served warm in boxes. Their product is good, but not as good as I thought. I made my way down to the Upper Mount Hope location for dessert after meeting friends for dinner at another restaurant nearby. There's nothing especially wonderful about these cookies, but they're certainly not bad. They're warmed up so the chocolate is nice and gooey (that is, if you get a cookie with chocolate in it, of course) and the taste is good. They're pretty standard as far as cookies go. I tried the M&Ms and Deluxe S'mores and both were good; the M&Ms was packed with M&Ms and the Deluxe S'mores was nice and gooey.
