My thoughts on Insomnia Cookies is that they serve a need. Everybody needs a warm, gooey cookie now and then - especially on a college campus. I went to school in Philadelphia, and we had one or two of these there, as well. Good for a chain, and the cookies never fail to disappoint. The cookies themselves are pretty well perfect. They are buttery, gooey, chewy hockey pucks filled with chocolate, peanut butter, and nuts. They are a little bite of heaven, if you are a cookie fan. There are normal sized and deluxe sized cookie variants available, as well as warm brownies. If you are going to go here, though, I recommend that you stick to the cookies; the brownies don't really compare. There are also ice cream sandwiches available, which are made to order and comprised of your choice of ice cream between your choice of normal sized cookies. The ice cream sandwiches are good, but again, I'd recommend sticking to the warm, gooey cookies. You can still get better ice cream next door at the Chocolate Ice Cream Shop. After placing an order, with delivery instructions included, the company's policy of calling instead of knocking on a door of a small business (open to the public) was ridiculous.
